The full scale solid fuel stage will be tested at the ISRO facility soon. In addition to being cost-effective, they are also highly reliable with fewer moving parts.<br /><br />Right now, Kalam-5 gives a peak sea-level thrust of 5.3kN, can handle the pressure of 66 atmospheres and temperatures of up to 30,000 degrees Celsius. It is only one-fourth the size of the solid motor in Vikram 1’s third stage.<br /><br />“Kalam-5 uses 15 different advanced materials, nine different manufacturing processes and has zero moving parts,” Chandana explained. <br /><br />Skyroot is backed by investors like Solar Industries, Vedanshu Investments, and Myntra founder Mukesh Bansal. India’s first-ever privately designed and developed rocket is a step closer to becoming a reality in 2021

Kolkata, Jul 6 () West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday granted permission for recommencement of reality TV shoots but disallowed the presence of audience on sets. <p> The chief minister also said that outdoor shooting might be allowed at isolated places with not more than 40 crew members, after intimating local police officers. </p><p> Banerjee further announced that all members of the West Bengal Motion Pictures Artists' Forum would be provided treatment free of cost if they contract the disease. </p><p> Pointing out that Bengal is the "first and only" place in the country where shooting for TV serials has resumed in full swing since June 11, Banerjee said the state should be promoted as "one-stop destination" for filming soaps and movies, as it has necessary infrastructure in place. </p><p> She urged directors and producers to generate awareness on COVID-19 through their films and serials. </p><p> "You can start work for reality shows as many budding talents are benefited from these programmes. But there shouldn't be any audience. You can recreate the audience feel with camera trick and technology," she said, while interacting with representatives of the entertainment industry - artistes, technicians, producers, actors - at state secretariat Nabanna. </p><p> As several actors, including Parambrata Chatterjee, insisted that outdoor shoots were vital for almost all film projects, Banerjee said, "If you become a little innovative, and shoot with restricted crew (40) at an isolated place where there is no crowd, it could be permitted." </p><p> The chief minister, however, stated that senior police officers in that particular area will have to be informed about the shoot. </p><p> "You can commence outdoor shoots near lakes and parks, when they open for a few hours in the morning. You can also shoot at the eco-tourism park (in the city) after talking to authorities there," she suggested. </p><p> To another request, Banerjee gave her nod for increasing the number of actors who could shoot together on the floor of sets from six to 10. </p><p> The chief minister said a grooming centre for serial and film actors will come up soon at a suitable place on the city outskirts, with support from her government. </p><p> Asked about the likelihood of reopening single screen theatres, she said "that would take time". </p><p> "As of now, reopening cinema halls or granting a waiver on their electricity bill is not possible. <ul><li>A new kind of <keyword id="9267327" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="jupiter-trojan">Jupiter Trojan</keyword> asteroid has been spotted streaking through the skies by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s ATLAS system.</li><li>This asteroid has a comet-like tail that’s never been seen before.</li><li>It confirms what scientists have speculated for years — that Trojan asteroids have large amounts of ice beneath their surface.</li></ul>Astronomers have spotted the first known ‘Jupiter Trojan’ asteroid, which isn’t really the run-of-the-mill asteroid that us Earthlings are used to hearing about. Instead of being a composite ball of rock, the asteroid with the official designation of <keyword id="9267326" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="2019-ld2">2019 LD2</keyword> seems to have sprouted a comet-like tail.<br /><br />This is a first for the scientific community and for <a href="http://www.ifa.hawaii.edu/info/press-releases/2019LD2/">ATLAS</a> — a project funded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (<keyword id="6360409" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Nasa">NASA</keyword>) which uses wide-field telescopes scan the skies for asteroids that might pose a threat to Earth. Even Earth is known to have at least one Trojan asteroid. <br /><br />A Jupiter Trojan is one that follows Jupiter’s orbit, not uncommon for the gaseous giant considering its size and strong gravitational pull. There’s one swarm of Jupiter Trojans orbiting behind the planet, and another orbiting ahead of it, where 2019 LD2 was found.<br /><br />2019 LD2 suddenly spewing ice, dust and gas from its surface could be for a number of reasons. Scientists speculate one reason may that it was only recently captured by a more distant orbit, increasing the likelihood of ice being able to survive on its surface. <br /><br />Another reason could be a recent landslide or impact that brought out ice, which would normally be below, to the surface. <br /><br /><br /><strong>The discovery of 2019 LD2 and its comet-like tail<br /><br /></strong>2019 LD2 was first detected on 10 June 2019. When ATLAS saw it again in July, it saw the peculiar trail of dust and gas running behind the asteroid. <br /><br />Before astronomers had a chance to study the asteroid further, it disappeared behind the Sun wasn’t seen again until April 2020. This time, ATLAS was able to confirm that the asteroid’s tail wasn’t just an anomaly, but a feature that had been with it for at least a year. <br /><br />Not just ATLAS, but multiple observatories — including Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope (LCOGT) Network — have been able to confirm its tail using precise measurements.<br /><br />Normally, astronomers distinguish between asteroids and comets by their characteristics and composition.
