<p class="p1">Early this week, a confusing picture of what appears to be a woman wearing "hairy leg" stockings went viral.</p>
<p class="p1">It was first posted on <keyword id="1334" type="COUNTRY" weightage="60" keywordseo="China">China</keyword>'s micro-blogging service Sina Weibo before being picked up by <a href="http://www.chinasmack.com/2013/pictures/anti-pervert-hairy-stockings-for-girls-during-summer.html">ChinaSMACK</a>, and then shared by major media outlets around the world. </p>
<p class="p1"><a href="http://www.chinasmack.com/2013/pictures/anti-pervert-hairy-stockings-for-girls-during-summer.html"></a>The translated caption of the picture reads: "Super sexy, summertime anti-pervert full-leg-of-hair stockings, essential for all young girls going out."</p>
<p class="p1">The supposed stockings are covered with thick, 3D black <keyword id="23927" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Hair">hair</keyword>, and appear to stop at the wearer's ankles. The insinuated goal is that men would be too repulsed to hit on or molest a girl wearing faux-hairy legs.</p>
<p class="p1">It's worth noting, however, that this picture is the only one of its kind and that searches for companies who make leggings or tights that look like hairy legs has proved futile. </p>
<p class="p1">For all we know, this could just be a really good Photoshop job, or a picture of someone's <em>actual</em> hairy legs.</p>

<p>This math question, from an admissions test for an elementary school in Hong Kong, is going viral in China.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.chinasmack.com/2014/pictures/hong-kong-elementary-school-admissions-test-question-21.html">According to ChinaSmack</a>, it was the second-most popular post on Chinese microblogging site Sina Weibo on June 5, when it was published.</p>
<p>The question was part of an admissions test for first graders. They had 20 seconds to answer. Can you solve it?</p>

<p><a href="http://www.weibo.com/k1ngzhang">"King" Zhang Jiale's luxury lifestyle</a> has sparked strong criticism in a country where the new found wealth of elder generations is widely seen to have created a younger generation that is overly materialistic.</p>
<p>But is it really so bad?</p>

China Is Obsessed With The Extravagant Life Of This Spoiled Young Playgirl

<p>A meat supplier for McDonald's and KFC in China <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/mcdonalds-and-kfc-supplier-shut-down-2014-7">was shut down</a> after a news report revealed it used rotten meat that was past the expiration date. </p>
<p>A reporter for China's Dragon TV went undercover at the Husi Food Co. factory and allegedly saw chicken skin and breast meat expired for two weeks being mixed into materials for McNuggets. </p>
<p>KFC's smoked meat patty allegedly contained meat that had been expired for a month. </p>
<p>McDonald's told Business Insider that it is "no longer serving product from the facility." The company also said it is fully cooperating with authorities. </p>
<p>KFC also told us it has severed ties with the facility, and is investigating what happened. </p>

Revolting Images Supposedly Show Chinese Plant That Sold Expired Meat To McDonald's And KFC

<p><a href="http://www.chinasmack.com/2014/pictures/single-netizens-buy-out-movie-tickets-to-ruin-valentine-dates.html">Joe at ChinaSmack reports</a> that one such individual took it up on himself to ruin the day for couples by creating a campaign to buy out odd number move seats at a screening of Beijing Love Story in Shanghai. This obviously would prevent any couple from sitting next to each other.</p>
<p>(Unlike, the U.S. many Asian countries have numbered seating at the cinema.)</p>
<p>The man who didn't wish to identify himself told the Shanghai Morning Post, that he was doing this as a joke and that he hoped couples would understand.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/10637954/Bitter-single-man-scuppers-Valentines-Day-for-cinema-goers.html">Tom Philips at The Telegraph</a> reported how dogged the man was. When his attempts raised the suspicions at the box office he took to crowdfunding:</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">"The self-described "nerd" used his computer to recruit a group of like-minded online accomplices, setting up a crowd-funding site that was used to pool resources and, eventually, book the tickets.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Once their mission had been successfully accomplished, "UP" posted an online message, taunting those whose evening he had ruined.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">"Want to see a movie on Valentine's Day? Sorry, you'll have to sit separately," he reportedly bragged on an online forum. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Give us singles a chance."</p>
