Three companies - low-cost carrier <keyword id="6354706" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Indigo">IndiGo</keyword>, staffing firm <keyword id="133742" type="COMPANY" weightage="80" keywordseo="TeamLease">Teamlease</keyword> and e-retailer Infibeam - have lined up for public offers to generate around more than Rs 3,000 crore from investors, reported PTI. According to banking sources, the draft papers for all the three Initial Public Offers (IPOs) were being submitted to capital markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (<keyword id="35210" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="sebi">SEBI</keyword>) today. <keyword id="300127" type="COMPANY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Interglobe-Enterprises">InterGlobe Enterprises</keyword>, which runs the country's biggest airline by market share under 'IndiGo' brand, wants to raise Rs 2,000-2,500 crore through the <keyword id="6354763" type="EVENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="IPO">IPO</keyword>, sources said, adding Teamlease is looking to raise Rs 450-500 crore and Infibeam about Rs 400 crore. 

	IndiGo flew 27.69 lakh passengers in May, accounting for more than a third of the total traffic. Last month, all Indian carriers together ferried a total of 71.27 lakh passengers. 
 

	The privately-held IndiGo is one of the two domestic carriers making profit. The other profitable airline is GoAir. 
 Earlier this month, Sydney-based aviation think-tank '<keyword id="109712" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Centre-for-Asia-Pacific-Aviation">Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation</keyword>' (CAPA) said IndiGo is estimated to have recorded a profit of $150-175 million in fiscal 2015. 

	IndiGo was founded in 2006 by travel entrepreneur Rahul Bhatia and US Airways former chief executive Rakesh Gangwal. 
 After a prolonged lull, the IPO space has become very active and over 30 companies have lined to raise funds totaling over Rs 20,000 crore through public offers, which also include Cafe Coffee Day, Matrix Cellular and <keyword id="470455" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="GVK-Airport">GVK Airport</keyword>. 

	At least 20 of these firms have already got the go-ahead from SEBI to launch their respective IPOs while draft IPO papers of five firms are currently "under process" but may be cleared soon. 
 Three companies -- Cafe Coffee Day, Matrix Cellular and <keyword id="2179992" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="RBL-Bank">RBL Bank</keyword> -- approached the regulator last week and they are now being followed by the likes of IndiGo, Infibeam and Teamlease. The flurry of activity in the IPO space follows stabilising trends in the <keyword id="35199" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="stock-markets">stock markets</keyword> and the companies are looking to raise funds to finance their business expansion and loan repayments and meet working capital requirements. 

	It also comes at a time when the regulator SEBI has announced a slew of fresh reforms in the IPO space, including for halving the listing period to six days and making the application process for investors entirely cheque-free.

IndiGo, Infibeam, Teamlease want to generate over Rs 3,000 crore via IPOs

In order to generate over Rs 3,000 crore from investors, at least three Indian companies are going to submit their applications to <keyword id="35210" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="sebi">SEBI</keyword>, the regulator for the securities market in India. A PTI report quoted merchant banking source saying that the draft papers for all the three <keyword id="6373917" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Initial-Public-Offers">Initial Public Offers</keyword> (<keyword id="35156" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="ipos">IPOs</keyword>) were being submitted to SEBI today. If we believe the sources quoted by this leading news agency, <keyword id="300127" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Interglobe-Enterprises">InterGlobe Enterprises</keyword>, which runs '<keyword id="6354706" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indigo">IndiGo</keyword>' airline, is looking to raise Rs 2,000-2,500 crore through the IPO. On the other hand, <keyword id="133742" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="TeamLease">Teamlease</keyword>, a leading recruitment consultant, human resource outsourcing and staffing company in India, is looking to raise Rs 450-500 crore. And <keyword id="761157" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Infibeam">Infibeam</keyword>, a domestic online retailer, is eyeing nearly Rs 400 crore. 

	In May this year, IndiGo retained domestic market leadership as it clocked 38.9% market share, carrying 27.69 lakh passengers during the month, a DGCA report revealed.
 In fiscal 2015, IndiGo is estimated to have recorded a profit of $150-175 million, aviation think-tank '<keyword id="109712" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Centre-for-Asia-Pacific-Aviation">Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation</keyword>' (CAPA) said earlier this month. Currently, the IPO arena has gained momentum as more than 30 companies have lined up plans to secure funds totalling over Rs 20,000 crore through public offers. The list includes <keyword id="46195" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Cafe-Coffee-Day">Cafe Coffee Day</keyword>, <keyword id="772206" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Matrix-Cellular">Matrix Cellular</keyword> and GVK Airport.

IndiGo, Infibeam, Teamlease to generate over Rs 3,000 crore from IPOs

Almost 30 companies have queued up for <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Goldman-Sachs-is-crushing-tech-IPOs/articleshow/48209832.cms">Initial Public Offering(IPO</a>) to expand their business, meet working capital requirements and repay loans. At least 19 of them have already got green light from market regulator <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/IndiGos-Rs-2500-crore-IPO-comes-under-the-scanner-of-SEBI/articleshow/48331761.cms">SEBI</a> to launch IPOs, while draft IPO papers of eight firms are "under process" and may be cleared soon. 
 
Also, companies like GVK Group's airport business arm, GVK Airport Developers and staffing and training company TeamLease Services are expected to file their respective draft papers with Sebi soon. 
 
GVK Airport Developers is estimated to raise Rs 3,000 crore via IPO while TeamLease Services plans to mop up Rs 500 crore through its public offer. 
 
Maharashtra-based Navkar Corp will hit the capital market next week to raise Rs 600 crore through its initial share sale plan and infrastructure firm Dilip Buildcon is also expected to launch its Rs 650-crore IPO this month. 
 
At a time when the regulator <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Achhe-din-for-companies-with-initial-public-offering-has-just-begun/articleshow/48372939.cms">SEBI</a> has announced a slew of fresh reforms on the IPO front, including halving the listing period to six days and making the application process for investors entirely cheque-free, this comes as an instant consequence. 
 
A majority of the companies that have approached Sebi are mid-sized and are looking to raise between Rs 200 crore to Rs 3,000 crore. 
 
As per a PTI news report, as many as 24 companies have filed their draft papers to float IPOs, since the beginning of 2015. In the same period, the regulator has given approval to 25 firms to launch their initial share sale plans, some of which were pending from the previous year. 
 
So far in 2015, 10 companies have mobilised about Rs 4,700 crore through IPOs, higher than funds raised in the preceding two years. 
 
In comparison, a total of six IPOs had hit the market in 2014 and together garnered just Rs 1,261 crore while in 2013, three companies raked in Rs 1,284 crore through initial share sale plans. 
 
Among forthcoming IPOs, InterGlobe Aviation, which runs budget carrier IndiGo, is eyeing Rs 2,500 crore, Coffee Day Enterprises plans to raise Rs 1,150 crore and RBL Bank -- formerly known as Ratnakar Bank -- looks to mop up at least Rs 1,100 crore. 
 
Others in the queue include Matrix Cellular, Catholic Syrian Bank, Alkem Laboratories, S H Kelkar &amp; Company, Amar Ujala Publications, Infibeam Incorporation, AGS Transact Technologies, Numero Uno Clothing and Paranjape Schemes (Construction).
