Windlas Biotech to raise ₹395-402 crore through public listing, price band fixed at ₹448-460

<keyword id="6444828" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="gland-pharma" source="Orion">Gland Pharma</keyword> on Monday announced that it would be investing ₹400 crore to create additional capabilities in its existing facility at Genome Valley here to manufacture biologicals, biosimilar, antibodies and recombinant <keyword id="48003" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="insulin" source="Orion">Insulin</keyword>. An official release from the state government said the expanded facility will have employment generation potential of more than 500 numbers of qualified, skilled and semi-skilled workforce to be recruited, mostly from nearby places. The company established their biopharmaceutical facility in February last year at Genome Valley with an investment of ₹300 crore to manufacture vaccines, biologicals, biosimilar, antibodies and others. The expanded site is envisaged to meet the national and international regulations to be followed in the manufacturing of the biological products as applicable and shall be built under the GMP guidelines applicable for the respective product lines, it said. Windlas Biotech IPO open today: Here’s how to apply via banks and apps like Zerodha, Upstox

New Delhi, Jan 28 () Piramal Pharma Solutions on Tuesday said it will invest CAD 25 million (around Rs 135 crore) to expand its Aurora facility in Canada with the addition of a active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing wing.
The construction is expected to be completed by April 30, 2021, Piramal Pharma Solutions said in a statement.
"This additional capacity will help us to strengthen our presence in Canada as well as service other geographies such as North America and Europe, whilst enabling us to support our customer's API requirements and market demand for integrated solutions," Piramal Pharma Solutions CEO Peter DeYoung said.
As a patient centric organisation, Piramal Pharma Solutions is committed to serving the patient community and reducing the burden of disease, he added.
Apart from the existing production scale reactors, this expansion will include two new reactor suites as well as a dedicated filter dryer room and a portable filter dryer, the statement said.
