 News Agency ANI has reported that central board of secondary education (CBSE) will declare class 10 result today at around 3 pm. Last week on Saturday, CBSE spokesperson had clarified that CBSE won't declare the result on Sunday and had urged the students not to trust fake news. Earlier in the day on Sunday, CBSE secretary Anurag Tripathi confirmed that CBSE will declare the results in the week of 6th May. The CBSE class 10 th results can be checked on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. Some other third party websites like examresults.in, indiaresults.com and results.gov.in also publish these results for the convenience of the candidates. In the academic year 2018-19, CBSE conducted the class 10 th exams between February 21 and March 29, 2019. The official statistics released by the board says around 18.19 lakh students appeared for the CBSE 10 th Board Exam 2019. According to media reports, the result is likely to be declared by this week. However, the board has not announced the release date yet. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class X results on Monday. The overall <keyword id="20123359" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="pass-percentage" source="keywords">pass percentage</keyword> of 93.60 per cent was recorded. Passing percentage has increased by 0.48 per cent since last year. 25724 schools gave the CBSE class X examinations at 7603 centres. The Trivandrum region registered the highest pass percentage at 99.75 per cent whereas the lowest has been recorded at Guwahati which stood at 77.94 per cent. In the overall Delhi region, a 98.61 per cent pass percentage was recorded. 94.75 per cent of Girls passed the exam whereas 92.71 per cent of boys passed the exam with the Girls outshining boys by 2.04 per cent. CBSE class X examinations were held from February 15 to March 13, 2024. Approximately 39 lakh students appeared for Class 10 and 12 examinations. Students must score a minimum of 33 per cent marks to pass the CBSE class 10 and 12 exams. Looking at the past year's trends, in 2023, the CBSE results were announced on May 12. While in the year 2022, it was declared on July 22. Earlier, CBSE declared Class XII. 87.98 per cent of students passed the board exams. Passing percentage increased by 0.65 per cent since last year. 18417 schools gave the CBSE class XII examinations at 7126 centres. This year the overall pass percentage is 87.98 a 0.65 percent increase since 2023. The Trivandrum region registered the highest pass percentage at 99.91 per cent. CBSE Class 10 board exam results declared

The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has released the dates for the compartment examination 2019 for class 10th and 12th reappearing students. According to the official reports, the class 12th compartment examination 2019 will take place on 2 July 2019 for all subjects. However, for the class 10th, the exams are scheduled from 2 July to 10 July 2019. The revaluation of examination copies can be submitted by 25 March 2019. The re-evaluation per question is ₹100. The schedule for the registration has been rolled out by the board. The results are available on the website until 24 May 2019 and the students can view results on cbse.nic.in. Under the initiative, students will be able to search for Board Examination results directly on Google. That means students won’t have to visit official websites, which often crash when exam results are declared, because of high traffic on the sites. This, in turn, leads to delays in students getting access to their results. The board examinations in India are state levels examinations, considered important for further admissions in colleges. The CBSE conducts these examinations for a huge part of the country. In fact, reports say over 2.8 million students appeared for these examinations in 2018. This is not the first time Google is making such an effort though. Earlier, the company had catalogued the Joint Entrance Examinations (<keyword id="6392660" type="DEFINITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="JEE">JEE</keyword>) Main results that came out on 30 April 2018. Students will have to follow the usual procedure of filling in their roll number, date of birth etc. for the results to show up. Earlier there were wide spread speculations that the results might be out on May 5, 2019. However, the board has confirmed recently that the results of the CBSE 10th class exams will be declared soon in this week. The CBSE class 10th results can be checked on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. Some other third party websites like examresults.in, indiaresults.com and results.gov.in also publish these results for the convenience of the candidates. CBSE is the national level education board in India established to control the public and private schools in the country and abroad following the syllabus offered by the board. The Union Government of India controls and manages the CBSE. Approximately, the board manages about 19,500 schools in India and more than 200 schools spread across 28 countries abroad. CBSE class 10th result 2019: 27 lakh students looking to better last year results as CBSE likely to announce results this week

New Delhi [India], September 13 (ANI): The Central Board of Secondary Education (<keyword id="6356155" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="cbse" source="Orion">CBSE</keyword>) on Wednesday issued an advisory for students and parents regarding the <keyword id="3416876" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="practice-papers" source="Orion">practice papers</keyword> it has released for all major subjects of Classes 10 and 12. The board in its notice has warned students and schools that these sample papers should be accessed from the official website - cbseacademic.nic.in - and need not be purchased from any private publisher. "As per NEP 2020 recommendations, the Board had initiated competency-focused education and assessment in its affiliated schools and has recently released practice papers in all major subjects of Classes X and XII," read the notice by CBSE. "These practice papers have been developed to facilitate the students in solving more application-based questions of higher-order thinking skills and enhance conceptual understanding of topics," it said "It has come to the notice of the board that schools and students are being asked to access the CBSE practice papers from certain private publishers sites. The public is advised not to be misled by any claims and promotions" the advisory read. The registration procedure for the board exams 2024 for private students began on September 12 on its official website - cbse.gov.in. Students can proceed with the registration after the release of the form. The deadline to submit the registration form is October 11 and students can submit the form till October 19 with a late of Rs 300 per subject. (ANI)

CBSE warns against private websites selling practice papers for classes 10 and 12

The Central Board of Secondary Education (<keyword id="6356155" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="cbse">CBSE</keyword>) has released dates for practical examinations for Std. X and XII. According to the schedule, practical assessments will be held between January 1 and February 7, 2020. The practical examinations will take place in the presence of CBSE’s external examiner. This year onwards, the board has directed schools to send a group photograph of the external examiner, students and the internal teacher during the exams. The schools will have to upload the photographs on the website along with batch number and date among other details. “An app link will be provided to schools for uploading one group photograph of each batch during the practical examinations. The class group photo should consist of all the candidates of that batch, external examiner, internal examiner and observer. The photograph should be taken in the laboratory where practical exams are being held and laboratory should also be seen clearly in the photograph,” Sanyam Bharadwaj, CBSE controller of examinations<a href="https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/chandigarh/cbse-tells-schools-to-send-group-photograph-of-practical-exams/articleshow/71947563.cms"> told </a>TOI. CBSE board seeks photographic proof of practical exams for Std X and XII

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the class 10th results tomorrow on 05th May. However, in a statement today, CBSE said that they'll intimate about the result date beforehand. Ever since class 12th results came out, the speculations for 10th class being released in the same week have gone up and the searches are at all time high. CBSE class 10th results: CBSE likely to announce results tomorrow, everything you should know

The Central Board of Secondary Education (<keyword id="6356155" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="cbse">CBSE</keyword>) has reduced the syllabus for the social sciences exam by providing relief to the students of class 10 all over the country. CBSE has taken the decision of reducing the syllabus in view of providing leeway to students in the class 10 board examination. The CBSE would conduct the social sciences paper for class 10 on May 27. A total of five units from the social sciences theory topics have been removed for the students. The revised syllabus would be displayed on CBSE's official website. According to the Union Education Ministry, due to the coronavirus pandemic the working days of schools have been reduced significantly this year. Most of the students have been provided education through the online medium. In such a situation, now the students, parents and teachers themselves are also in favour of reducing the curriculum for the students. Earlier, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said, "In view of the extraordinary situation arising across the country due to Covid-19, CBSE has been advised to reschedule and reduce its syllabus." CBSE has reduced the syllabus by 30 per cent in various subjects after the Union Education Minister directed that the syllabus must be reduced. A specific syllabus would no longer be part of the board examinations and prescribed subjects scheduled for internal evaluation. School principals and teachers would also ensure that students are explained about the reduced subject contents to combine different topics. According to the Union Education Ministry, in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, concrete suggestions were invited from academicians from all over the country on the subject of syllabus reductions. More than 150 academicians across the country have sent their suggestions on this subject.

CBSE lightens Class 10 social science exam syllabus

In 2015, the average pass percentage stood at 95.81%, increasing slightly the following year to 96.21%, only to slip further to 90.95% in 2017. In the past three years, boys and girls have been neck-to-neck with <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/india/cbse-10th-result-2017-declared-on-cbse-nic-inc-pass-percentage-region-wise-school-wise-results-2293235.html">nearly equal</a> performance. The CBSE announced the results for class 12th this year on 2 May. The pass percentage of the batch was recorded as 83.7%. With girls outshine as toppers in India. Two girls from Uttar Pradesh — Hansika Shukla from Ghaziabad and Karishma Arora from Muzaffarnagar — topped the examination.
