The email did not state the "nature of the investigation," he said, but conveyed that the government was "conducting some sort of review.""That is what then tipped him off," Rothstein said.The following day, prosecutors contacted the chambers of Magistrate Judge G. Michael Harvey, who signed the criminal complaint against Taherzadeh and Ali that night. They also found a binder with a list of residents at the complex, along with a box of documents with profiles of individual people, prosecutors said.Rothstein said the Justice Department was investigating whether bribery occurred in connection with the alleged scheme.Rothstein said law enforcement and military officials living at the apartment complex were "shocked" to learn that they had been duped into believing Taherzadeh and Ali were also federal officers. But Rothstein said Tuesday that Taherzadeh had aroused suspicion with some.Rothstein said Taherzadeh approached a naval intelligence officer in a way that caused the officer enough concern to report the encounter to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, or NCIS. In a search of the units, FBI agents found multiple firearms, boxes of ammunition, breaching equipment, handcuffs, and brass knuckles.Also discovered was a binder with a list of residents at their apartment complex, along with a box of documents with profiles of individual people.As part of their alleged scheme, prosecutors said Taherzadeh and Ali recruited someone to be an "employee of DHS." In the hiring process, they required that individual to be shot with an Airsoft rifle to evaluate the recruit's pain tolerance, according to court records.Rothstein pointed to that allegation in arguing for the detention of Ali and Taherzadeh. The prosecutor said their possession of firearms and law enforcement equipment created "a risk of physical harm." According to the indictment, the investigation began in March 2022 when a <keyword id="11996297" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="postal-service" source="Orion">postal service</keyword> inspector responded to Ali and Taherzadeh's apartment complex in response to an alleged assault on a letter carrier. Residents identified Taherzadeh and Ali as possible witnesses and said the two represented themselves as special agents with the Department of Homeland Security.Taherzadeh and Ali both identified themselves in an interview with the inspector as "special police" officers involved undercover gang-related investigations and inquiries related to the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. In the course of the investigation, the postal service inspector learned about Taherzadeh and Ali's contacts with government officials and the gifts they provided to them, including access to the GMC SUV. The inspector relayed the information to the Department of Homeland Security's internal watchdog office, which then referred the matter to the FBI.After the interview, Taherzadeh began deleting law-enforcement-related material from his social media, Rothstein said, suggesting that his release would create the risk of tampering with witnesses and evidence."Without fully understanding the full scope of Ali's conduct, including all of the federal employees that he may have had contact with and compromised, Ali's flight from justice could cause significant damage to our national security," Rothstein wrote in the court <a href="https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/21580903/alidetention.pdf">filing</a>.The two men must remain behind bars at least until next Monday, when a detention hearing will continue before Magistrate Judge G. Feds say imposter DHS agents who lavished gifts on Secret Service agents — including one in Jill Biden's detail — had 'arsenal' of weapons

It is a big day at the <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword> as two biggies <keyword id="1054297" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bang-Bang">Bang Bang</keyword> and <keyword id="198679" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Haider">Haider</keyword> clash at the box office. In addition, it is also a long weekend, due to Gandhi Jayanti, Dushera and Eid-ul-Zuha. The buzz for both the movie is quite high. 
 
Bang Bang, which is a remake of Knight and Day, stars <keyword id="6354563" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Hrithik-Roshan">Hrithik Roshan</keyword> along with <keyword id="6354850" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Katrina-Kaif">Katrina Kaif</keyword>. On the other hand, Haider is an adaption of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. This movie is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and features <keyword id="6355887" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Shahid-Kapoor">Shahid Kapoor</keyword>, <keyword id="89958" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Shraddha-Kapoor">Shraddha Kapoor</keyword>, Tabu, Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon. 
 
We have already heard news report regarding the tussle over screens amongst both the movies and tomorrow will be show time for them. 
Interestingly, the buzz for both the movies is great. Bang Bang has a slight edge as Hrithik Roshan has a greater star value than Shahid Kapoor and also songs from the movie are getting a warm response. Haider on its part is expected to get plenty of critical acclaim. We can already see quite a few celebrities tweeting nice things about the movie. 
 
However, when it comes to making money, we are placing our bets on Bang Bang. Going by the trends of advance booking, it is expected that Bang Bang is going to get a hearty welcome at the box office. Reports suggest that cinemaplexes have increased the number of shows after seeing the response in advance bookings. 
 
We are expecting Bang Bang to have occupancy rate of 80-90% on the opening day and likely to cross Rs 25 crore in first collections. The five-day weekend should help the movie collect its first ton at the box office.

Box Office Predictions for Bang Bang And Haider

<keyword id="1054297" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bang-Bang">Bang Bang</keyword> was expected to be a money spinner at the <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword> and the movie hasn’t disappointed its patrons even a bit. Over the extended weekend, the movie has garnered around Rs 94.13 crores at the domestic box office, while its gross collections have touched Rs 134.47 crores in India. 
 
The movie started on a high note with the collections of Rs 27.54 crores on Thursday that made Bang Bang the fifth highest opener of all time, after Dhoom 3 ( Rs 36 crores), Chennai Express ( Rs 33.10 crores), Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 32.92 crores), and Singham Returns (Rs 32 crores). 
 
Monday collections of Bang Bang are also expected to be good, given that it’s the day when many people are enjoying a day off work because of Id-Ul-Zuha. 
 
In addition to this, Bang Bang has also emerged as the biggest opener movie of Hrithik Roshan’s career displacing Krrish 3. The movie was riding high on Hrithik’s shoulders and he has managed to woo the audiences with his charm and acting prowess. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 140 crores and we hope that it’ll continue to go strong in the following weekend! 
 
Another big movie that released last weekend was <keyword id="198679" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Haider">Haider</keyword>. The movie has got rave reviews, but didn’t manage to create a similar magic in terms of numbers. In the four day weekend, the movie managed to get Rs. 26.78 crores.

Box Office: Bang Bang Spins Money, Haider Garners Praises

Come Friday and we would see Emraan Hashmi don a role of a conman in the movie titled Raja Natwarlal. Along with Hashmi, the movie also stars Pakistani model and actor Humaima Malick. 
 
The movie is directed by Kunal Deshmukh who has worked with Emraan Hashmi in the Jannat series. Paresh Rawal, Kay Kay Menon and Deepak Tijori are also a part of this flick. 
 
Raja Natwarlal is a crime comedy movie, which is produced by produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under UTV Motion Pictures. 
 
“Raja Natwarlal appears to be a well made film too which is substantiated by content in the offering. That should ensure that after a decent start of 40%-50% (with single screens taking the lead),” Joginder Tuteja said on Koimoi.com. 
 
Girish Johar, a film business expert, while talking to Business Insider India shared, “Raja Natwarlal will have a good start at the box office as Emraan Hashmi’s movie is releasing after a while and fans are keen to see him on 70mm.” 
 
Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Raj Kumar Gupta’s Ghanchakkar and Ek Thi Daayan. 
 
Coming back to Raja Natwarlal, we expect the movie to get off to a decent start and be able to pull up at least Rs 20 crore in the opening weekend. 
 
The last week’s offering Mardaani despite having rave reviews was unable to pull any crowds, as a result of which Singham Returns continued to have a good run at the box office. We are quite bullish about the next week’s offering Mary Kom and later offering such as Finding Fanny, Khoobsurat, Daawat-e-Ishq, Haider and Bang Bang!

Box Office Predictions For Raja Natwarlal

This Friday, it was the clash of two biggies at the <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword>: <keyword id="1904667" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Daawat-E-Ishq">Daawat-E-Ishq</keyword> and <keyword id="1089498" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="20" keywordseo="Khoobsurat">Khoobsurat</keyword>. 
 
Directed by Habib Faisal of Ishaqzaade and Do Dooni Chaar fame, Daawat-E-Ishq has <keyword id="467200" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Aditya-Roy-Kapoor">Aditya Roy Kapoor</keyword> and <keyword id="562349" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Parineeti-Chopra">Parineeti Chopra</keyword> in the lead. Though they’ve been paired together for the first time, but the pairing looks fresh and cute on screen. The movie was expected to woo the audience and get off to a decent start, but it started on a slow note. According to <a href="http://www.bollywoodhungama.com/box-office/special-features/id/389">Bollywood Hungama</a>, this movie managed to collect only Rs 3.72 crore on its first Friday. The business improved a little on Saturday and Sunday; the movie collected Rs 13.6 crore over the weekend (collecting Rs 4.35 crore on Saturday and Rs 5.53 crore on Sunday). The movie also managed to gather about Rs 5.54 crore from overseas markets, which took the total weekend collections to Rs 19.14 crore. 
 
Khoobsurat on the other hand is loosely based on the old classic, Rekha starrer movie with the same name. With this movie, Pakistani actor <keyword id="2358880" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Fawad-Khan">Fawad Khan</keyword> has made his <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> debut opposite <keyword id="710" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sonam-Kapoor">Sonam Kapoor</keyword>. This new Khan already had some fans before the movie hit the cinema—all thanks to his Television serial and telefilm that were aired recently on Zindagi channel. Khoobsurat is made on an estimated budget of Rs 30 crore and is the first Bollywood movie to be released under the Disney brand name. Like Daawat-E-Ishq, this movie also had a slow start. It managed to collect Rs 3.72 crore on its first day says <a href="http://www.bollywoodhungama.com/box-office/special-features/id/388">Bollywood Hungama</a>. On Saturday and Sunday Khoobsurat managed to register collections worth Rs 3.74 and Rs 5.05 crore respectively. International collections helped the movie to reach Rs 18.43 crore on its first weekend. 
 
In the meantime, last week’s release Finding Fanny staring Deepika Padukone has collected a total of Rs 31.14 crore in the last 10 days. Priyanka Chopra’s biopic Mary Kom is still going strong and has collected Rs 56.5 crore so far. (Figures till Sunday, September 21) 
 
Considering that no other big movie is getting released next week, both Daawat-E-Ishq and Khoobsurat have a fair chance of redeeming themselves—but it seems very bleak at the moment. We are anxiously waiting for October 2, 2014, when Hrithik Roshan’s Bang Bang will take on Shahid Kapoor’s Haider. Both movies seem to offer something fresh and considering that they are releasing on a long weekend, they are expected to have a great opening at the box office.

Box Office: Khoobsurat & Daawat-E-Ishq Get Luke Warm Response

If reports are to be believed, IIFA was a ride full of laughter, and the credit goes to the two actors who made an impressive stage debut, hosting the award ceremony for the first time. 
 
It’s no hidden fact that Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor are mischief personified. We all got a glimpse of this in the infamous AIB Roast that took place last year, where the actors sportingly got roasted by a team of stand-up comedians, leaving the audience in splits. Even though the YouTube video was banned and FIRs were registered against both the actors as well as several others, the actors didn’t budge from talking about the reactions for the roast even at the IIFA night. 
 
The heartthrobs, who first worked together in Gunday, even had no qualms admitting their horrible performances in the film; however, they did so in their own mischievous style in front of the heaving Putra stadium in Kuala Lumpur. 
 
They started out in a serious tone, admitting to an act that offended many people and involved a famous director (hinting at Karan Johar who was present with them on the AIB Roast). However, just when everyone thought that they are serious about the roast, the duo quickly apologized for doing Gunday, which was a major critical failure. 
 
Not only that, they also sang a parody on Aamir Khan, who was very vocal on christening AIB roast as 'violent' rather than 'funny'. The actors sang "Hume maaf karna, O Aamir Khan. Hum kabhi nhi lenge Reema Lagoo and Farida Jalal ka naam." they sang. Actually, they had offended senior actors like Farida Jalal in the infamous roast, which had led to several negative reactions from the industry and Aamir Khan as well. 
 Hinting big time at the alleged romance between Ranveer and actress <keyword id="598" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Deepika-Padukone">Deepika Padukone</keyword>, Arjun didn’t leave a chance to tease his friend as Deepika came on stage to receive her award for the Woman of the Year. 
 
Later, Ranveer Singh went down on his knees in front of Deepika and gave her a red heart-shaped balloon, as Arjun stood in the corner, giving his friend the space that he wanted.

Here in, we have one sharp look at the professional journey of one of the most popular young actresses of Indian cinema. 
 
1. The first time we saw Shraddha Kapoor on the silver screen was when she donned the role of a studious geek Aparna Khanna who volunteers in a poker experiment. The year was 2010 and the movie that marked her debut was <keyword id="16035" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Teen-Patti">Teen Patti</keyword>, in which she starred along Amitabh Bachchan and R. Madhavan. The movie could not do well at the box office, resulting in a career setback for Shraddha. Reportedly, she also lost her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s My Friend Pinto because of the movie’s failure. 
 
2. Next year, in 2011, we saw her as a girl next door who gets her heart broken and plans revenge in <keyword id="595028" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Luv-ka-the-End">Luv Ka The End</keyword>. She shared the screen space with Taaha Shah and Ali Zafar. The film was the first production venture of Y-Films, Yash Raj Films’ division for making youth-centric films. Although the film went unnoticed, Shraddha’s performance was appreciated by critics. 
 
3. After taking a year-long break, the young Kapoor lass returned to the screens with the musical romantic saga Aashiqui 2. The movie, which also had Aditya Roy Kapur, was highly successful and Shraddha Kapoor was noticed for her good looks as well as acting prowess. 
 
4. Next in line for the lady was a guest role in Dharma Productions’ Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, in which she played Vasudha, a Tamilian girl in love with a Sikh boy. The lead pair of the movie was Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor, and Shraddha’s role was limited to a few scenes. 
 
5. Came 2014 and Shraddha was seen as Ayesha in another musical romantic thriller Ek Villain. Her role was that of a young girl who falls in love with a goon and transforms him into a family man, only to be killed by a psychopath killer. Her role in the movie was limited to a few flashback scenes other than some songs, given the fact that her character gets killed in the first 15 minutes. 
 
6. Towards the end of 2014, we saw the pretty lady doing a role in Haider, for ace director Vishal Bhardwaj. She portrayed the role of Arshiya, a young Kashmiri journalist in love with the main lead, played by Shahid Kapoor. Her performance and hard work in the movie to get into the skin of a Kashmiri girl were appreciated. 
 
7. She also did an item number, called Dance Basanti, in the movie Ungli. 
 
8. In 2015, she would be seen in Remo D’souza’s next <keyword id="1870207" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="ABCD-2">ABCD 2</keyword>, which is the sequel to 2013’s ABCD: Any Body Can Dance. She is paired opposite Varun Dhawan and portrays a dancer in the movie. Reportedly, she has been working hard to get into the shoes of a dancer. The movie would release in June 2015. 
 
9. She would also began shooting for Rock On 2, the sequel to Rock On!!, which released in 2008. The movie would also stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli and would be shot in Shillong. 
 
10. Other than acting, Shraddha Kapoor also has a passion for singing, given her relations with Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle, two of India’s most reputed singers. Shraddha’s mother Shivangi Kapoor is the daughter of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle’s paternal aunt. Shivangi herself is a trained singer, and Shraddha has surely got her singing skills from her. In the recently concluded Global Indian Music Awards, Shraddha Kapoor was awarded the ‘Celebrity Singer Of The Year’ award.
