Crime &amp; thrillers movies always excited me. I used to regularly get my dope by watching Bond movies and other Hollywood crime thrillers, but a part of me always wished only if <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> can churn out some serious stuff in the same genre. The recently launched trailer of <keyword id="25276" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="detective">Detective</keyword> Byomkesh Bakshy, starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead, surely have given me some hope, but at the same time it (the trailer) also coerced me to think of other most talked-about detective movies of Bollywood. And here comes my list.

The movie also stars <keyword id="486750" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ali-Fazal">Ali Fazal</keyword> in the lead role opposite Vidya.

Vidya will be seen playing a buddy detective in the film, who aspires to become the most popular detective in the city of Hyderabad. 8 Bollywood Sleuths Who Set Your Pulse Racing

Female protagonists are ruling <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> nowadays and we were definitely looking forward to some spectacular showing when Kangana Ranaut-Vir Das-starrer comedy-drama <keyword id="1132893" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Revolver-Rani">Revolver Rani</keyword> and Subhash Ghai-directed <keyword id="2214753" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kaanchi-The-Unbreakable">Kaanchi: The Unbreakable</keyword>, yet another <keyword id="2097207" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Woman-centric-movie">woman-centric movie</keyword>, were released on April 25. <keyword id="1718118" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Samrat-Co-">Samrat &amp; Co.</keyword>, a whodunit movie directed and co-written by <keyword id="1097593" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kaushik-Ghatak">Kaushik Ghatak</keyword>, was the third release of the week. 
 Going by the numbers, it was an extremely poor weekend at the <keyword id="827271" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Domestic-Box-Office">domestic box office</keyword> and the Monday business did not look up either, predicting more gloom and doom. After her stellar performance in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Box-Office-Queen-OutshinesGulaab-Gang-Total-Siyapaa-Tanks/articleshow/31848837.cms">Queen</a> (it has netted around Rs 60 crore at home and grossed nearly Rs 93 crore worldwide), Kangana-led Revolver Rani has turned out to be a surprise slow-starter at the <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword> in spite of an intriguing storyline. Sure, it had the best start among the three but netted around Rs 6 crore at home after the first three days in spite of hype and the positive word of mouth. Debut day occupancy was as low as 15% although the movie has hit around 1,500 screens, nearly double the number of <keyword id="6377522" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="queen">Queen</keyword>. 
 
Interestingly, Queen, too, picked up pace pretty late, but managed to nett around Rs 9 crore after the first three days. For Revolver Rani, the crucial Day 4 (Monday, April 28) business was equally dismal and the movie collected around Rs 1.4 crore at home. It has an estimated budget of Rs 24 crore. 
 
However, <keyword id="1417195" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kaanchi">Kaanchi</keyword>, directed by <keyword id="6354581" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Subhash-Ghai">Subhash Ghai</keyword>, suffered a worse fate. This one looks like a clear <keyword id="2076872" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Box-office-bomb">box office bomb</keyword> and collected a paltry Rs 75 lakh on the opening Friday. Weekend earnings remained extremely disappointing and the romance-cum-revenge drama could only manage Rs 3 crore in the first three days. Monday collections stood at an estimated Rs 1.1 crore. With the budget of the movie projected to be Rs 30 crore-plus, industry experts are already calling it another disastrous outing by Ghai. Kaanchi has opened in 1,150-1,200 theatres at home, but the occupancy was less than 15%, especially at single screens. In fact, Kaanchi is the lowest debut-day grosser among Ghai’s recent flops including Yaadein (Rs 1.6 crore on opening Friday), Kisna (Rs 1.5 crore) and Yuvraaj (Rs 2.9 crore). 
 <keyword id="2218677" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Samrat-and-Co-">Samrat and Co.</keyword>, a <keyword id="25276" type="POSITION" weightage="100" keywordseo="detective">detective</keyword> thriller starring <keyword id="15130" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rajeev-Khandelwal">Rajeev Khandelwal</keyword>, <keyword id="110704" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Madalasa-Sharma">Madalasa Sharma</keyword> and <keyword id="1600791" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Gopal-Datt">Gopal Datt</keyword>, hit around 500 screens at home and was immediately declared a flop. First day collections at the domestic box office were an appalling Rs 25 lakh and total earnings in the first three days stood at Rs 1.45 crore, as per trade figures. Interestingly, first Monday (Day 4) collections were better than the opening day, amounting to Rs 60 lakh. But keeping the film’s budget in mind – in the zone of Rs 18 crore or so – this rahasya (mystery) ride won’t be going anywhere in terms of <keyword id="1996031" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Box-office-performance">box office performance</keyword>. 
 
 
 If you are still wondering what has led to the wholesale box office debacle, a close look at all the three flicks may help decode the failures. Directed by <keyword id="2218682" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sai-Kabir-Shrivastav">Sai Kabir Shrivastav</keyword> (he also did the story and the screenplay) Revolver Rani narrates the story of <keyword id="315181" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Alka-Singh">Alka Singh</keyword> (<keyword id="2201" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kangana-Ranaut">Kangana Ranaut</keyword>), a dacoit-turned-politician in the thick of power game and in love with Bollywood aspirant <keyword id="1555785" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rohan-Mehra">Rohan Mehra</keyword> (<keyword id="671" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Vir-das">Vir Das</keyword>). Kangana plays the <keyword id="2218683" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Chambal-girl">Chambal girl</keyword> to perfection – raw, raunchy, power-loving and trigger-happy. But one must not write it off as another one of the Bandit Queen saga. The ground realities, the ingrained satire and the layers of turbulence unfold well in the movie, but the story fails at times – losing the smooth flow and meandering during the second half. Overall, it has loads of merit, but it’s hardly a feel-good movie and that could be one of the key reasons behind the slow business pick-up. As <keyword id="122490" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="film-critic">film critic</keyword> Anupama Chopra so rightly said, “If you can enjoy bad people doing bad things, then Revolver Rani will be fun.” 
 
Kaanchi, on the other hand, simply drags on and loses all the suspense of a revenge drama that it later turns out to be. The movie features two newcomers in lead roles, <keyword id="562167" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kartik-Tiwari">Kartik Tiwari</keyword> (aka <keyword id="2104801" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kartik-Aaryan">Kartik Aaryan</keyword>) and Hindi movie debutante Indrani Chakraborty (aka Mishti), while the ‘big baddies’ are played by <keyword id="6357910" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rishi-Kapoor">Rishi Kapoor</keyword> and <keyword id="14672" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Mithun-Chakraborty">Mithun Chakraborty</keyword>. The naïve rural beauty Kaanchi fights against power and corruption as her love Binda, her land and her life are at stake. But as is the Bollywood norm, the twists and turns get too filmy to be convincing, the characters become stereotypes and the dialogues are mere lip service. At the end, we are looking at a mere shell instead of a strong script, powerful performances and the ‘gale’ of change. 
 Samrat and Co. does no better in terms of cinematic art. Rajeev Khandelwal (<keyword id="239627" type="POSITION" weightage="100" keywordseo="private-investigator">private investigator</keyword> Samrat Tilakdhari) lacks the earlier sparkle of Table No. 21. And if you are expecting Rajeev and Gopal (Samrat’s <keyword id="6419345" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="assistant">assistant</keyword> and friend, <keyword id="2218675" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Chakradhar-Pandey">Chakradhar Pandey</keyword>) do a Holmes-Watson act, you could be mightily disappointed. But currently you have a mystery to solve. Try and predict if these three would do well at the domestic box office over the first week. Your guess is as good as ours.

Box Office: Kangana Fails To Lift Revolver Rani; Kaanchi Lacks Ghai’s Golden Touch

<keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> can’t create a Dhoom every time – even when it is a ‘3D’ version of a timeless epic like Sholay. As for <keyword id="20399" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Arshad-Warsi">Arshad Warsi</keyword> and Soha Ali Khan-starrer <keyword id="2005226" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Comedy-flick">comedy flick</keyword> Mr Joe B Carvalho, the <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword> response has been nothing less than disastrous – just Rs 2.25 crore nett at home after the first weekend, according to <keyword id="2005227" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Industry-estimates">industry estimates</keyword>. Its collections went further down to Rs 30-35 lakh on Day 4 (Monday, January 6). 
 
In contrast, Sholay 3D has done much better and scooped up about Rs 5.6 crore in India after the 4th day. The new version has cost about Rs 22 crore, including <keyword id="61642" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Restoration">restoration</keyword> and conversion expenses, and hit 1,000 screens. Till date, the occupancy was 60-70% and <keyword id="617883" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sholay-3D">Sholay 3D</keyword> is expected to keep up the tempo in the next few weeks. Not bad for a movie that is 38-year-old and can only rekindle nostalgia. 
 
But it’s a different story when you watch Carvalho. Directed by <keyword id="1943459" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Samir-Tewari">Samir Tewari</keyword>, the flick also stars <keyword id="212233" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jaaved-Jaffrey">Jaaved Jaffrey</keyword> and <keyword id="2005219" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Vijay-Raaj">Vijay Raaj</keyword>, and has reportedly opened in 1,100 screens across the country. Moreover, it has all the regular dose of masala – Arshad plays a <keyword id="25276" type="POSITION" weightage="100" keywordseo="detective">detective</keyword> for the first time in a <keyword id="680" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="hindi-movie">Hindi movie</keyword> (a small-time <keyword id="1229562" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="private-eye">private eye</keyword> from <keyword id="6354321" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Bengaluru">Bengaluru</keyword>); <keyword id="6375366" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="police-officer">police officer</keyword> <keyword id="2005218" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shantipriya-Phadnis">Shantipriya Phadnis</keyword> (Soha) appears in her first-ever <keyword id="2005239" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bikini-shot">bikini shot</keyword> and does some cabaret; and Jaaved or ‘<keyword id="84355" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Carlos">Carlos</keyword>’ enacts a number of quirky characters whenever he comes on screen. But in spite of their best efforts (at least Arshad has been pretty smooth throughout), the plot lacks thrill; the gags are stale and <keyword id="6359193" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Comedy">comedy</keyword> has taken flight – leaving behind some skeletal, cartoonish shells. 
 Interestingly, this is Tewari’s <keyword id="41623" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Directorial-debut">directorial debut</keyword> and one really wonders if he is in the industry to stay. As for Arshad, one only hopes this lacklustre flick won’t affect his upcoming movie <keyword id="696067" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Dedh-Ishqiya">Dedh Ishqiya</keyword>, releasing on January 10. 
 But before we conclude, here’s a piece of BO news that will cheer up all. <keyword id="6355923" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Aamir-Khan">Aamir Khan</keyword>’s <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/9-Bollywood-BlockbustersThat-Entered-Rs-100-Crore-Club-In-2013/articleshow/28176524.cms">Dhoom 3</a> has vroomed past all limits and grossed Rs 501.35 crore ($83.56 million) worldwide (India &amp; overseas business) since its release on December 20 last year. Producers Yash Raj Films (YRF) has also issued a statement confirming the news. 
 
“Dhoom 3 continues to create history at both the Indian and overseas box office. It is now officially the first Indian film to cross Rs 500 crore worldwide,” the statement said. Now that the box office landmark has been set, will it be the new Bollywood reality for the rest of the year? Maybe the release of Dedh Ishqiya can help us get over a dismal beginning.

Bollywood Off To Low-key Start: Sholay 3D
Gets The Better Of Mr Joe B. Carvalho

The ambience of Yash Raj Films' office in Mumbai suburbs turned somber on Tuesday evening when filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee heard of a crucial digital leak concerning his upcoming film. 
 
A video surfaced on the internet later yesterday that revealed the film's climax said TOI. A pivotal marketing strategy for the film was maintaining the mystery around its 'whodunit' formula. But the video that was clearly shot by a unit member during the film's climax revealed who the villain is in the film. 
 Dibakar did not take it very seriously when first told about it said the TOI report. A three-pager from the film's screenplay too was out a few days back. But, when he was described the scene that was in the video, his face went pale. Dibakar, who was in the middle of interviews with leading publications, stalled the interaction and promptly went to meet <keyword id="6385240" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Aditya-Chopra">Aditya Chopra</keyword> regarding the same, suggested our source present at the venue. 
 
According to the TOI report, an onlooker says, "It seemed someone from his core group spewed venom. There's also a possibility that this is a publicity gimmick but going by Dibakar's reaction it's highly unlikely."

 Swastika, the Bengali actress who is making her <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> debut with this movie, said that the actor had no idea that there would be a kissing scene in the movie, and only she and the director were aware of it. 
 
"Sushant was not aware of the kissing scene in the film. Dibakar had an overall discussion about it with me because there was a possibility of something like that in the scene. Dibakar seriously did not want Sushant to know about it. He was like if it happens then let it happen and obviously Sushant will be taken aback but that's important. He (Sushant) was like really in shock and flabbergasted about what the hell just happened. Then we had our lines and I could see that surprise, that dilemma on face he was completely stiff and stony," Swastika told PTI. 
 
Apparently, the scene demanded a shocked and confused look on the actor’s face and not telling Rajput about the kiss worked in its favour. In an earlier interview, Sushant had stated how Dibakar tricked him into the kissing scene and that he called up his long-time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande and told her about the scene as soon as it happened. 
 Well, looks like <keyword id="35863" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Dibakar-Banerjee">Dibakar Banerjee</keyword> sure knows how to turn things in his favour.

The 'kiss' that shocked Sushant Singh Rajput!

Director <keyword id="35863" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Dibakar-Banerjee">Dibakar Banerjee</keyword>, who is ready for his next movie titled "<keyword id="1725719" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="DETECTIVE-BYOMKESH-BAKSHY">Detective Byomkesh Bakshy</keyword>!" hinted that there are chances that the movie might be made into a franchise, meaning that there can be more movies involving the fictional character. 
 
On being asked if he would want the movie, which is an adaptation of a fictional book character, to be turned into a franchise, he said, "We would love to (make it a franchise), but we are waiting for the first film to do well. This is because - fortunately or unfortunately - a film like this has not yet been made." 
 
Talking further, he said, "If the audiences' hunger and thirst for such films increases and our first Byomkesh story catches on, then our franchise is ready and we would love this franchise to go forward." 
 Created by the Bengali writer <keyword id="1641501" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Saradindu-Bandyopadhyay">Saradindu Bandyopadhyay</keyword>, Byomkesh Bakshy is a fictional character, a young Bengali detective. Bandyopadhyay wrote as many as 32 stories involving the character from 1932 until his death in 1970, leaving one story, <keyword id="2760413" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bishupal-Bodh">Bishupal Bodh</keyword>, incomplete.

Apart from regional cinema taking over <keyword id="143" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="bollywood" source="Orion">Bollywood</keyword>, a silent revolution is underway where regional OTTs are taking away the eyeballs of Indians – by offering them quality content in their mother tongue. And, there are a lot of these. Of the total <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/business/news/a-cred-like-platform-is-what-indian-ott-users-want-to-juggle-multiple-subscriptions/articleshow/92570894.cms">60 OTT </a>platforms in India, around 12 of them are exclusively regional across languages like — Sun NXT, Planet Marathi, Koode, and City Short TV, which is a hyperlocal content OTT. One movie, every week According to a FICCI-EY <a href="https://www.financialexpress.com/brandwagon/regional-ott-on-the-rise-as-subscribers-choose-native-language-over-hindi/2272860/">report</a>, the share of regional language consumption on OTT platforms will cross 50% by 2025 from the 30% share it held in 2019. As per FICCI-EY though, regional consumption is expected to surpass Hindi, which is predicted to touch a 45% consumption rate. But a few players are confident that it has already hit this number. “The regional OTT market today probably is 50% already of the total OTT market size in India, including all regional languages. It is set to grow faster than Hindi for sure,” Ajit Thakur, CEO of Telugu and Tamil OTT platform aha told Business Insider India. The OTT, which is adding one movie every week, has touched 10 million monthly active users (Maus) in two years. Its app saw 30 million downloads. It has also generated $2 million in non-subscription <a href="https://www.afaqs.com/news/media/telugu-ott-platform-aha-to-rely-on-avod-to-break-even">revenue </a>in the last six months and is considering adding gaming onto its platform and becoming a super app. Aha also intends to target Tamil-speaking viewers as well after winning the hearts of the people who speak the fourth most spoken <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/world-45902204">language </a>in India and also one of the top 10 fastest-growing <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/world-45902204">languages </a>in America. The magic price point Apart from the content, the price points of these OTTs are attractive too — as it’s akin to subscribing for a regional TV channel pack as opposed to the full range with all genres and offerings across languages – like Netflix, Prime, Disney Hotstar or even Zee. Hoichoi however has ‘eased’ its subscription with a syndication deal with mainstream OTT players such as MX Player and Amazon Prime. Hoichoi, one of the earliest regional OTT platforms to launch in India, is trying to capture the 250 million Bengali speakers across the world. “The generic OTT market has grown at least 30-50% over the year and we've all outpaced that industry by a fair margin. We've got about 120 odd shows, in addition to about 600-700 movies. In fact, April, May and June were bigger than COVID months for us,” Vishnu Mohta, co-founder of the Bengali streaming platform told Business Insider India. Its extensive content library remains unmatched in the OTT universe. Our viewership comes from India and across the world. There has been an increase in the stickiness of the content, with time spent by users increasing almost 350% after Raanbaazaar’s release,” said Akshay Bardapurkar, founder of Planet Marathi. In the meanwhile, top OTTs haven’t been ignoring these viewers either. In fact most of them release regional movies and shows with audio and subtitle options – thereby ‘extending’ the reach of regional content to non-regional players as well. The best example in this list is the recently launched Modern Love Hyderabad which has an original Telugu show dubbed across five languages including Hindi and English, for those who want to catch the flavour of the show in their own language. ZEE5 too has <a href="https://www.businesstoday.in/latest/corporate/story/zee5-plans-to-triple-investment-in-tamil-telugu-content-in-2022-328762-2022-04-05">tripled </a>its investment into regional content this year and international player <a href="https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/info-tech/netflix-on-the-lookout-for-regional-language-content-in-2022/article37835172.ece">Netflix </a>is also looking to deeper inroads in India by zooming in on regional market — but whether they would be able to win the war in every regional turf across India is left to be seen – as India has 121 official <a href="https://indianexpress.com/article/india/more-than-19500-mother-tongues-spoken-in-india-census-5241056/">languages </a>and 19,500 mother tongues.

Its collections stand at $2.486 billion, after its third week in theatres. It is already the second highest grossing film of all time, right behind James Cameron’s Avatar that earned $2.788 billion. But, taking this coveted spot might get a bit tougher as two big movies, Keanu Reeves’ “JohnWick: Chapter 3- Parabellum” and Disney’s “Aladdin” are releasing soon. Endgame needs to fetch $304 million more to become the top-grossing movie of all time. This weekend, the last part of Avengers series has already fought off competition from "Pokémon: Detective Pikachu", sticking to its top spot in North American theatres. It was able to make $27.4 million on Saturday, $6.9 million more than Pikachu ($20.5 million). People are thronging the theatres in spite of the fact that movie spoilers are all over the internet, after a ban was lifted. Global success The movie owes much of its success to robust international collections, thanks to its Asian fanbase. It saw the biggest opening ever in the Middle Kingdom (China) with record-breaking earnings of $107.2 million. Endgame is listed among the top 10 domestic earners of all time in India. It is now close to taking over the records set that Bollywood painstakingly set, with by Baahubali 2 and Dangal; to become the country’s highest grossing film.

It follows a minimalistic design, promises great audio performance with its ANC and features UV nanotechnology. Priced at par with some more exciting and well-received products like the Sony WF-1000XM4 and Apple's AirPods 2, these Tone Free buds have some tough competitors. What does set them apart is the fitness centric theme around which they are mounted. So do they deliver on their promise? And is it worthy of your ears? I answer that question in my in-depth review. Price &amp; Availability LG Tone Free Fit TF7 is available for a price of ₹12,989 on LG’s official online store and Amazon. Design &amp; Build LG took a different approach with the Fit TF7 compared to its predecessor. While it still maintains the iconic shell-shaped case, it's slightly larger. This increase in size provides more room inside, which, in turn, can make it a bit challenging to carry in your pockets and may require some adjustment. Nevertheless, this design choice actually results in a more compact form factor compared to the AirPods Pro. I’ve used the blue variant which exudes a premium look. Its design is minimalistic, devoid of any unnecessary patterns or curves that might seem out of place. The only noticeable branding is the subtle "Tone" logo on the top. The matte finish not only adds to its aesthetics but also ensures it remains free from unsightly scratches. One thoughtful addition to the case is the LED indicator that conveys connectivity status and battery life. LG's attention to detail shines here, with a green light indicating ample battery backup, an orange LED showing it's reached the halfway mark, and a red indicator signaling low battery levels. This feature kept me well-informed about the battery status, allowing me to charge it accordingly. The case also features a neatly placed USB Type-C charging port at the bottom for convenient charging. Perhaps the most distinctive feature of the case lies within it – the UVnano lights, as claimed by LG, provide protection against 99.99% of bacteria. While I can't independently verify this level of protection, it might provide peace of mind to a certain segment of buyers. More on the impact of this feature on battery life in the latter part of this article. Now, shifting our focus to the earbuds themselves, the TF7 buds are smaller in size compared to the AirPods Pro and regular AirPods. They sport a dot design, which personally, I'm not a fan of. Given that my ears stick outwards, I often face difficulties with dot-shaped buds. Typically, I need to find the right ear tips for a secure fit. However, in this case, the default tips worked exceptionally well, which is good news. The buds strike a balance in size, offering ample space for interaction without causing discomfort during activities like walking. The build quality of these buds is impressive. They feel sturdy, and the plastic used is of high quality. Aesthetically, LG could have pushed the envelope further, as the buds don't exude the same level of sophistication as the AirPods or Galaxy Buds. Considering the price point, one might expect a more refined design in the next iteration. In terms of comfort, the TF7 buds hit the mark. Their compact size, combined with an ergonomic build, makes them an excellent choice for both desk work and workouts. The TF7 buds boast an IP67 water resistance rating, further enhancing their durability. I have been using the buds for my running sessions and so far I haven't faced any issues. I can quantify how much I sweat, but its enough to test the buds out. Definitely a reliable product. I used them with the default ear tips, and the experience was quite satisfying. The buds remained securely in place while I was seated or in motion. They are indeed a suitable option for workouts, where maintaining a firm grip is a top priority. The swivel feature is also a welcome addition, enhancing their overall usability. Performance Pairing and Connectivity: The TF7 is equipped with Bluetooth 5.3, and it generally performs admirably with only a few minor hiccups. In my testing, I initially paired them with an Android device, the OnePlus 11R, and the process was swift, requiring just a couple of taps. Notably, with Google Fast Pair enabled, the case automatically detected the FP9 when my device's Bluetooth visibility was turned on. Connecting my Android smartphone to the buds was a breeze, and this efficiency was highly impressive. However, the situation took a turn when I attempted to pair them with my iPhone. I found myself refreshing the Bluetooth list multiple times before they finally appeared. The same struggle persisted when I tried connecting them to another Apple device, the iPhone 11. Yet, when reconnecting them to an Android smartphone, the process was as swift as the initial setup. It's worth noting that I've encountered this issue before with Tone buds FP9. One consistent factor in both scenarios was the buds' ability to maintain robust connectivity once paired. Over a month of usage, the buds exhibited no sudden disconnections or connectivity issues. An additional noteworthy feature is multi-device pairing, which proves especially convenient for those who work from home. Switching between my laptop and smartphone was effortless, as I didn't need to manually disconnect and reconnect the buds. I'd like to emphasise the importance of multi-device pairing when purchasing TWS buds or any Bluetooth audio product. It greatly enhances the overall user experience, providing seamless transitions between devices. Gestures The TF7 features touch-sensitive controls with a preset of gestures that come in handy. These gestures are intuitive and uncluttered. For activating Active Noise Cancellation, a long press on either bud does the trick. With the TF7, I could fully appreciate the low mids while discerning every instrument in the song. While the bud's smaller drivers might lead you to expect lower volume output, this issue is effectively balanced when you activate ANC. Speaking of noise cancellation, the TF7 excels in this department. When set to the "ANC ON" preset, these earbuds efficiently blocked out a significant amount of surrounding noise, creating a noticeable sense of isolation. For outdoor use, I favoured the "Immersive" preset as it struck a harmonious balance between bass and volume. It allowed me to maintain a comfortable 60% volume while enjoying my music and remaining aware of my surroundings. However, it was the "3D Spatial Sound" feature that left me somewhat disappointed. Marketed to create a surround sound experience, I attempted to watch a movie with this preset. Contrary to expectations, it resulted in a noticeable echo. While it's possible that this issue can be rectified by tinkering with settings in the TONE Free app, who has the time for such adjustments? It’s also very Chandler to mention the names of all the other girls while writing a love letter. For that we like this letter more than the others. But it looks like the AI system has studied a lot of the memes and chatter of this very popular Friends character. Although that always helps, we wish the AI picked up a few more books instead of spending “all” its time surfing the net. Here’s an excerpt from Bing’s proposal – also he did not promise that his future wife never has to take his last name’... “Could I BE any more in love with you? I mean, I know I say that a lot, but I really, really mean it. You're like my lobster, y'know? We're meant to be together, and I don't want to spend another day without you. I know sometimes I can be a little awkward and sarcastic, but I hope you know that it's only because I'm crazy about you. You make me laugh and smile in a way that nobody else can, and I can't imagine my life without you. So, what do you say? Will you be my Monica? My Rachel? My Janice? (Just kidding about that last one.) Let's be together, forever and always.” From Dwight to Angela We have to be fair in our assessment. Even though the beginning of the Chat GPT letter by the whimsical ‘assistant to the regional manager’ Dwight from the hit series The Office sounded colourless, the letter managed to somewhat capture the essence of love for his cat-lover lady love Angela.
