Sulabh International founder <keyword id="154851" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bindeshwar-Pathak">Bindeshwar Pathak</keyword> is going to name a village in India after <keyword id="3828708" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="US-President-Donald-Trump">US President Donald Trump</keyword>. His announcement comes as a part of strengthening India-US ties and <keyword id="6354814" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="prime-minister-Narendra-Modi">Prime Minister Narendra Modi</keyword>’s Washington visit. "I announce to name one village in India as Trump Village," announced Pathak at a community event in Washington DC. This, he said, is part of his effort to enhance India-US relationship. The village is being developed in Rajasthan’s Mewat region. Pathak is a social crusader for sanitation and in his address to the Indian Diaspora, Pathak said he is working to provide affordable sanitation and toilets to the masses and end the practice of manual scavenging. “The cost of one toilet ranges from USD 25 to USD 500, depending on nature of construction. Technology remains the same,” he said.

	 With one year of completion of ‘<keyword id="6361202" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Swachh-Bharat">Swachh Bharat</keyword> Mission’ or ‘Clean India’, people only share mixed feelings about its success after seeing the video “7 minute miracle”, which lifts the curtain off the cleaning theatre. <keyword id="154851" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Bindeshwar-Pathak">Bindeshwar Pathak</keyword>, founder of the sanitation movement Sulabh International, thinks we are going in the right direction. 
	 

	“I think like Japan, we can also do this. But more participation is required. We have come a long way from being an importer of food to becoming an exporter of food. Like green revolution, clean revolution will also become a success,” he added. 
	 

	Pathak thinks that lack of motivation among the citizens is pulling this Mission behind. The passengers of the Shinkansen trains also show that values are equally important. They often dispose of left-over food, beverages and papers in the bin bags held by the cleaning staff at the door on arrival of the train at the station. 
	 

	Awareness at a larger scale and change in the mindset of the people are the keys to its success. 
	 

	“Why should we depend on the government to build toilets in our own houses? It should not be a movement of the government alone,” he said. 
	 

	P. Velusami, principal of WASHi (WAter, Sanitation and Hygiene Institute), said the values of cleanliness should be inculcated in the minds of the people since childhood. 
	 

	He too is optimistic about the success of the movement but is apprehensive about the ‘2019 target’ of the Mission. 
	 

	“2019 is an ambitious target. We can try but I think a complete clean Bharat can be achieved by 2025. It is a long way to go. Current investment of the government and the citizens in the mission is clearly not enough,” he said. 
	 

	More than 300 high speed Shinkansen trains, each having 100 seats, are in service in a single day. Not a single seat in a single train is missed out to be cleaned in those seven minutes they get to do their job. But five years seem to be too less a time for a Swachh Bharat.

 Breaking a 400-year-old tradition, more than 1000 <keyword id="3294344" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="widows-in-Vrindavan">widows in Vrindavan</keyword> played <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=holi">Holi </a>inside the Lord Krishna temple yesterday. 
 Though <keyword id="3294346" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="widows-playing-Holi">widows playing Holi</keyword> in<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/stunning-photos-of-holi-the-hindu-festival-of-colors/Indian-widows-throw-flowers-during-Holi-celebrations-at-the-Meera-Sahbhagini-Ashram-in-Vrindavan-/slideshow/21225752.cms"> Vrindavan</a> and Varanasi started a while back, this would be the first time, they would be celebrating the festival of colours inside the temple premises. 
 The <keyword id="6355460" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Holi">Holi</keyword> celebrations was organised by Sulabh Foundation, which has been striving to bring back these <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=indian+widows">widows</a>, most of whom have been treated as outcasts by their families to society's mainstream. 
 
According to the founder of Sulabh, Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, this year they had managed to convince a number of Sanskrit students and Pundits to take part in the Holi celebrations. 
 
Organisers say that it was a "riot of colour" on Monday as 1200 kgs of 'gulal' (coloured powder) and 1500 kilograms of rose and merry gold petals were arranged for the event. 
 
"The widows, who wear only white sarees, would splash colours on each other to celebrate the festival, breaking away from years of social stigma attached to women who have lost their husbands", said an organiser.
