The database is said to be of 20 million Big Basket users, which was first <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/business/startups/news/bigbasket-the-e-grocery-startup-which-tata-group-is-eyeing-admits-a-data-breach-of-over-20-million-users/articleshow/79122791.cms">confirmed</a> by the Indian grocery delivery startup on November 7, 2020. The database includes email IDs, home addresses, phone numbers, password hashes (potentially hashed OTPs), IP addresses, date of birth and also the user-aggregator interactions done on the <keyword id="235499" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="APP">app</keyword>. The hacker who is said to have published the alleged Big Basket database goes by the name ShinyHunters. The database was made available for anyone to download over the weekend on a well-known cybercrime forum. ShinyHunters is the same hacking group that has started to flood a dark web hacking marketplace with databases containing a combined total of 73.2 million user records over 11 different companies, according to threat intelligence SaaS provider Cyble. WhiteHat Jr and Dunzo were also among the startups that saw their data getting compromised over the same period. The news comes weeks after Tata Group shared its plan to acquire <keyword id="964794" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="BigBasket">BigBasket</keyword>, valuing the Indian startup at over $1.8 billion. Big Basket has not released any official statement on the leak. We'll be updating the story if and when we hear from the management. When did the Big Basket breach happen? According to <a href="https://cybleinc.com/2020/11/07/bigbasket-indias-leading-online-supermarket-shopping-allegedly-breached-personal-details-of-over-20-million-people-sold-in-darkweb/">Cyble</a>, which was the first to make the details of the potential breach public, the first breach occurred on October 14 and it found out about it on October 30, later disclosing it to Big Basket on November 1. Cyble also claimed that the data was put up for sale on the dark web for $40,000. <h2 style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;"> </h2>How to check if your data is compromised? <div type="image" title="Pawned ." msid="82256000" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;My data has been compromised.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div> There are some portals like '<a href="https://haveibeenpwned.com/">have I been pwned</a>' and '<a href="https://www.amibreached.com/">am I breached</a>', where you can check your data has been compromised in one of the breaches in the past. You simply need to go to these sites, enter your email used to register the account and hit enter. In the former’s case, you will be informed about the number of breaches. Scrolling down, you will be able to see the platforms that were hit by a breach, compromising your data. I checked mine, and unfortunately, my data has been compromised in 11 breaches (image above) including Big Basket, Zomato, Dunzo, Zoomcar and more.

Big Basket data breach: email IDs, phone numbers, home addresses of two crore Indians allegedly leaked on the web

“Tired from work, braving traffic jams to get to a jam-packed grocery store? Use our app, select the groceries you want from your nearest stores and get them delivered at your doorstep in no time. Best quality guaranteed at the cheapest rate!” Now, anyone in this world would fall for that idea. It is a great concept we agree, but not so great when the grocery apps fail to fulfill the tall promises they make. What seems like a heavenly service more often ends up becoming a nightmare when wrong products are delivered, or it takes an eternity for orders to reach you. Oblivious to how it is detrimental to their image in the market, our desi <keyword id="3162812" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="grocery-delivery-apps">grocery delivery apps</keyword> unfortunately are losing a great concept to poor customer service, something that forms the foundation of this business. 
 
The irony is, for customers, it ends up complicating their lives instead of simplifying it! Here’s how: 
 Vikram Sanghvi, an employee with a Gurgaon-based MNC, who used <keyword id="964794" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="BigBasket">Bigbasket</keyword> service found grave faults with the app recently: “I received a phone call at the delivery time saying that my order is out of stock and I will be sent an alternate option. I found out that the delivered product was of higher price compared to the one I wanted. Now, is it my fault that you have run out of stock. If you have, the app should not reflect such products so that one does not order it, but why should I compromise and pay a higher price for something I don't want,” he says. 
 Unlike Vikram,Vijaya Singh, a homemaker based in Gurgaon, who thought of trying out <keyword id="2466939" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Grofers">Grofers</keyword> app was delivered an alternative without informing her: “I ordered MDH masala packets. When I received the order, they sent me Catch masala packets instead. It makes me feel that they want to promote one brand over the other.” She also pointed that while ordering multiple products from various sections of Grofers – fruits and veggies, cosmetics, bakery – different delivery boys come at different time which she finds quite inconvenient. "One order and you have the door bell ringing 3 times in 15 minutes. I personally don't like this way of delivery," she says. 
 
Akash and Mandeep, both running their start-ups in South Delhi, have a bigger plight. Only half of the ordered items were delivered to them by Grofers. While Akash opted for the cash on delivery option and did not have to pay for all that he had ordered on the app, a furious Mandeep says “It has been over 45 days and still they haven't returned my money close to Rs 520. There is no money return policy, it’s shameful. You make the mistake and customer pays the price for it. Who runs a business like this.” 
 
For Janki, a mother and employee working at an MNC in Gurgaon, it was worse because the products were not delivered until the next day and what she was in store for is quite annoying: “I had ordered pampers for my kid from ZopNow. First, they postponed the order for another day and then they cancelled my order without informing me. When I called them for my money that I paid online, they said supervisor will call back but nobody reached out to me. Pathetic customer service,” she says. 
 We have all heard of late deliveries, but 6 days!! “We generally shop online and decided to give Godrej <keyword id="938654" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Natures-Basket">Nature's basket</keyword> online website a chance. It was the biggest mistake ever. We were told our order will be delivered in 48 hours, however even after 6 days we haven't received the order, neither have we received any update. The service is obviously very unprofessional and cannot be trusted, which we did not expect from a Godrej,” he says. 
 
Another young working lady, Shikha Singh, swears she won’t use the apps ever as it gave her the most embarrassing moment ever: “I ordered some grocery through Bigbasket app and I needed it urgently because some guests including my boss were coming over. The order was placed successfully and their call center confirmed the same to me. Not only were they late, but I got a call two hours later only to hear from the team that the items were out of stock and couldn’t be delivered. I had to order food from the restaurant for them. It was embarrassing as I had invited them to a home-made litti-chokha treat.” 
 
Not everyone has been that unlucky though. A couple of them we spoke to said that they received the right orders, except that it took them an eternity to get them at their doorstep. “The orders never seem to reach you before 2-3 hours, even the smallest orders take time. What if you have guests over? One can bring things from the market and finish cooking by the time they deliver,” says Saba Haider, a journalist working with a reputed media house in Noida, who uses Grofers for her household needs. 
 
There are even several users complaining of price disparity. They can’t stop short of calling it fraudulent practices. “I ordered Tropicana 100% orange juice from Nature's Hub. MRP for this product is Rs 120, but on the site it was displayed as Rs 99. Obviously, I was happy at the discount being offered and ordered 5 of them for Cash on Delivery. When the product came, they charged me Rs 120 (original MRP) for the product mentioning this was incorrectly priced on the site. Since I was not at home at that moment and my wife wasn't aware of it, she paid and opened the pack. Now this is totally unacceptable and misleading,” said Ashish Naik, a businessman based out of Mumbai. 
 
Dear concerned companies, we hope you are listening to them. Our humble advice – Please, treat your customers like god. If you don’t, you might fall out of the race even before you picked up. Don’t forget, you are because they are.

The reality of Desi grocery delivery apps, how horribly they fail at what they promise to customers

<ul><li>YouGov's latest report reveals that <keyword id="6357120" type="DEFINITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="paytm">Paytm</keyword> and Big Basket are the most used apps for ordering essentials during the COVID-19 <keyword id="91743" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="lockdown">lockdown</keyword></li><li>Although people have engaged with delivery apps during this period, only half are satisfied with the online ordering experience.</li></ul>YouGov’s latest survey reveals that despite the lockdown and strict norms around social distancing, the majority of urban Indians (52%) are stepping out and buying essentials from local retailers and hypermarkets. 39% are getting it delivered locally by neighbourhood vendors. The survey was run among 1000 respondents from 14th- 17th April. Most people have used delivery apps to order essential supplies during the lockdown period and Paytm is the most used app for this purpose (39%), followed by Big Basket (21%) and Big Bazaar (18%). Although slightly late but Swiggy and Zomato have entered the fray, and one in six people admitted to using these apps for the delivery of necessary items (16% and 15%, respectively). Amazon Pantry (16%), Reliance Fresh (15%), Grofers (14%) and Dmart (14%) were some other popular channels of delivery. Comparatively, Flipkart Supermart (10%), Domino’s Pizza (7%), Milk Basket (5%), Nature’s Basket (4%) and Dunzo (3%) were less popular for ordering daily supplies. While people have indulged with delivery apps at some point during the lockdown, currently only one in five (20%) Indians are ordering essentials online through these apps. Residents in North India were more likely to say this- at 27%. Similarly, a higher number of tier-1 and tier-2 city residents are likely to order online through delivery apps as compared to tier-3 residents. Among the different age groups, people in their thirties (28%) are more likely than the rest to shop everything online. Even though Paytm emerged as the most used delivery app for essentials during the lockdown, when it specifically comes to those who are currently only ordering online, Big Basket takes the top spot (at 44%), followed by Paytm (34%) and Grofers (33%). The e-grocer is especially popular among respondents from tier I cities, with 58% saying they shopped from Big Basket during the lockdown. Paytm on the other hand, is more popular in tier-2 and 3 cities. The high volume of people stepping out to buy necessities or getting them delivered locally could be due to problems faced with online grocery shopping. Unavailability of goods is the top concern among buyers ordering essentials online (40%), followed by lack of variety as well as unusually long delays in deliveries (32% each). Some respondents experienced cancellation of their orders (22%), received partial deliveries (17%) and faced issues with order policies (16%). Few witnessed payment issues (11%) while few others received low quality products (10%). However, a quarter seem pleased with the experience and claim to have had no problems with their delivery. At an overall level, half the respondents are satisfied or very satisfied with the experience of ordering essentials online. One in six (16%), however, are either unsatisfied or very unsatisfied while a third (33%) are unsure of their experience. Unsurprisingly, satisfaction is higher among those who currently order online as compared to those who either step out or order essentials locally through neighbourhood vendors and this presents an opportunity for e-grocers to win these consumers by offering better service and experience. Speaking about this Deepa Bhatia, General Manager, YouGov India, said, “While the COVID-19 crisis has adversely impacted most businesses, it has also opened opportunities for some e-commerce players, especially those catering to the daily needs of people. Along with serving new customers, it is imperative to satisfy and retain the existing ones. In such an environment, it is important for brands to win consumers’ trust by understanding their needs and concerns, and then targeting them with the appropriate communication and marketing strategies.” Data collected online by YouGov Omnibus among 1000 respondents in India between 14th - 17th April 2020 using YouGov’s panel of over 6 million people worldwide. Data is representative of the adult online population in the country.

People are depending most on Paytm and BigBasket for ordering essentials during the Covid-19 lockdown

A new JP Morgan report has cited Sanjiv Mehta, chief of Hindustan Unilever and Hari Menon, co-founder &amp; CEO, BigBasket, saying that Covid-19 has caused unparalleled disruption in the India story of <keyword id="1640900" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Online-grocery">online grocery</keyword> penetration. Forced consumer trials, leading to a sustainable change in consumer behaviour, has triggered a three times uptick for <keyword id="2057213" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Big-Basket">Big Basket</keyword>. New customers stand at two times for Big Basket. Adoption rates have also picked up significantly in Tier 2 cities, outpacing Tier 1/Metros. Even as growth rates have stabilised post easing of lockdown, strong customer retention metrics (especially new customers) indicate a sustainable shift in penetration for this channel, JP Morgan researchers reported. Further, higher order density, pick up in ticket sizes and moderation in promotional intensity have culminated in expansion in the overall industry profit pool for e-grocers. While promotional intensity could revert to earlier levels, increased order density could well be a meaningful margin tailwind. For FMCG companies, online channel helps accelerate innovation with better handle on customer insights, and agility in identifying emerging trends. Online <keyword id="6372044" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="grocery">grocery</keyword> retailers too gather customer data and help brands optimise tactical promotions. Implications include consolidation underway in modern trade (MT) and emergence of omnichannel. Covid-19 disruptions have underlined the benefits of e-commerce, thus accelerating online adoption by modern and general trade. Even as offline retailers step up digitisation and online investments, they need to be mindful of cross-channel cannibalisation and target unique customer cohorts. Mehta and Menon said the focus should therefore be to add new customers on the online platform, necessitating a differentiated approach (aggregators/ market places/ grocery portals). On a strategic level, online/offline channel needs to be dealt with separately even as offline retailers increasingly adopt an omni-channel model. Mehta and Menon said a general trade (GT) channel is underway with rising digital technology intervention. Proximity and convenience has been a core driver of consumer behaviour over the recent months, thus magnifying the criticality of mom-n-pop outlets. With 10 million+ outlets, general trade accounts for 75-80 per cent of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). Even as MT and e-commerce channels have continued to scale up, GT will continue to remain the most important channel over the long term, they said. Further, digitisation of mom-n-pop outlets is driving improved demand capture/fulfilment, optimised inventory, digital payments and superior customer servicing efficiency enabling them to upgrade and compete with the channels of the future. <keyword id="44863" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="HUL">HUL</keyword> is participating in the digitisation journey for general trade e a <keyword id="9990702" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="shikhar-app">Shikhar app</keyword> now has 0.23 mn outlets onboarded and has seen a two times rise in order value and number of SKUs ordered (vs pre-Covid-19 levels). Private labels remain a challenge for established brands. The strategy by online retailers has primarily been on entering spaces with modest competitive intensity and limited presence of established branded players. Key spaces for e-grocers (like Big Basket) include: fresh fruits and vegetables (leveraging an integrated farm-to-fork model); emerging categories like health foods/organic; general merchandise; selective presence in large FMCG categories (soaps, detergents); and categories with few leading brands (Snacks, Batter, Toilet cleaners). While established FMCG players recognise private labels as a source of incremental competition, they derive confidence from their well reckoned ability to fight off regional brands across multiple categories/markets over the years.

Online grocery market is booming – HUL's Shikhar app now gets double the orders, Big Baskets rakes in thrice the volume

Online grocer <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=bigbasket&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">BigBasket </a>may raise $110-150 million from several financial and strategic investors. 
 If <keyword id="964794" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="BigBasket">BigBasket</keyword> gets the funding, its valuation may double up which right now stands at $450 million. 
 
The online grocer will use the funding for expanding its warehousing and cold chain facilities. 
 Recently, BigBasket received a funding of around $16 million from existing investors including Dubai-based private equity firm Abraaj Capital, Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm Bessemer, US-based investment firm Sands Capital, and the <keyword id="6354424" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="World-Bank">World Bank</keyword>'s International Finance Corp. 
 
Also, Trifecta Capital debt financed BigBasket of about $7 million. BigBasket is also in talks with <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=tencent&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Tencent</a> and Fosun and other Chinese investors. 
 
ET reported <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=amazon&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Amazon</a> is also eyeing a strategic stake in BigBasket. 
 "There is a mismatch in terms of valuations, shareholding and terms of the deal being discussed with <keyword id="18635" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amazon">Amazon</keyword>. Amazon India has approached BigBasket for a deal at least twice since 2015," ET quoted sources as saying. 
 
India's online grocery retail market grew 44% year-on-year to $135 million in 2016, and is estimated to grow at the same pace over the next five years, as per Euromonitor.

BigBasket likely to raise $150 million and valuation may double up. Here’s how it plans to use it

<keyword id="964794" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="BigBasket">BigBasket</keyword>, one of the country's second-most valuable ecommerce firm focused on a specific segment, is all set to get a funding of around Rs 800 crore, or $ 120-million. 
 
Online grocer BigBasket is going to get funding from US-based Sands Capital, International Finance Corporation and Bessemer Venture Partners. 
 
Reportedly, the deal is going to take at least two weeks. Presently, BigBasket's valuation is Rs 2,100 crore, or about $320 million. 
 
Through the latest funding round, it will be able to keep its growing competitors such as Grofers and PepperTap behind. 
 
Recently, BigBasket’s chief executive Hari Menon had said that he expected gross merchandise value of $300 million, or Rs 2,000 crore, for the ongoing financial year ending in March 2016. 
 
BigBasket, which has one-third of its sales from its own brands such as Fresho and BB Royal, ensures delivery of majority of the products as it operates on an inventory-based model. 
 
“We cater to both consumer needs, bulk pre-planned as well as on-demand emergency top-ups, with an inventory-led approach. For bulk orders, we fulfill orders through our warehouses and for one-hour express deliveries, we have set up about 63 'dark stores' around the city," Menon had said. 
 
Apparently, BigBasket handles about 2,700 orders per day.

BigBasket gets bigger, to get Rs 800
cr funding

Several investors have lined to rake in money in <keyword id="964794" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="BigBasket">BigBasket</keyword> and latest to join the list is Chinese ecommerce giant <keyword id="302749" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Alibaba">Alibaba</keyword>. As per various reports, Alibaba, <keyword id="4225623" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Paytm-Mall">Paytm Mall</keyword>, Temasek Holdings, Fosun Group, etc, are in fundraising talks with BigBasket. Also, Alibaba has shown interest in picking up a stake in BigBasket. ET quoted sources as saying Alibaba-Paytm Mall combine have offered to invest $200 million in BigBasket at a valuation of nearly $900 million post the investment. Meanwhile, Fosun's venture capital arm Kinzon Capital is in discussions with BigBasket for co-investment in the ongoing funding round with a cheque of $20-30 million. "It is for the founders to decide who they would like to go with," ET quoted sources as saying. Alibaba and <keyword id="649392" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Alipay">Alipay</keyword> own over 50% stake in Paytm Mall and have been focussing on investments in grocery and physical retail investments across the globe. "As matter of policy, we do not comment on market speculation and rumours," an associate on behalf of Temasek said in response to ET's queries. Apart from Alibaba, Amazon is also concentrating on the online grocery market in India. The company is likely to begin directly selling groceries and other food products online after recently securing the government's approval for its proposed $500-million foreign direct investment in the business.

BigBasket valuation may touch $900 million; Here’s how it is set to become bigger

E-tailers like <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Flipkart%2C+Amazon">Flipkart, Amazon</a> and <keyword id="964794" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="BigBasket">BigBasket</keyword> want to satisfy their customers by fulfilling their demands on time and for that they need commercial vehicles. They have found a suitable ride in on-demand truck despatch platforms, keeping a closer tab on shipment costs. 
 
Around a dozen <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=commercial-vehicle+aggregators+">commercial-vehicle aggregators</a> have sprung up because e-Commerce is appearing as a promising business segment for steady revenues. Their business is to get trucks on a mobile platform and let customers hail away as they would do for a cab. 
 
It is a technology access point for a highly unorganized but lucrative market estimated to be around Rs 39,000 crore ($6 billion), the money aggregately earned by light commercial vehicle operators in one year. 
 While there are seniors in the business like Mumbai's The Porter and Shippr in <keyword id="6354321" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bengaluru">Bengaluru</keyword>, Chennai's home-grown player GoGo Truck entered e-Commerce within six months into the business. 
 
GoGo Truck has about 200 trucks on its platform. It is expanding its business into smaller cities such as Coimbatore and Erode. The company has contracts with <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=e-Commerce+">e-Commerce</a> majors <keyword id="18635" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Amazon">Amazon</keyword> and BigBasket for dedicated trucks. 
 
While Amazon will utilize GoGo Truck for movement between its fulfillment centers, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=e-Commerce+">BigBasket</a> is planning to go beyond — using commercial vehicles for linking the last mile. 
 
Having a dedicated fleet on demand will rid e-Commerce firms of the task of deciding prices with individual fleet owners or last-minute haggling at the eleventh hour. "The advantage in this model is the stability of pricing and tracking. If you need a Tata Ace or an <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Ashok+Leyland">Ashok Leyland</a>…in half an hour, it is possible in this model," says A Vasister, Founder and CEO of GoGo. 
 
Amazon Logistics is working with over one vehicle aggregator helping in transport within, and between, cities. It believes vehicle tracking has levers focused on the customer. 
 
Samuel Thomas, director transportation at Amazon India, is of the opinion that in case of inter-city deliveries, the GPS can be a big game changer as it enables us to track the vehicles' movements and helps in managing and tracking the inventory. “Additionally, it enhances route planning and thereby timeliness of deliveries. We can also keep the customer informed,” he said. 
 
Pranav Goel, the entrepreneur at the helm of The Porter, says his trucks can offer data to clients about the loading and unloading capacities of their hubs. With every stop or breakdown and the idle periods captured real-time, e-tailers can know which hubs suffer delays in cargo handling. 
 
"More hubs mean less visibility at every node of the supply chain. This leads to cost leakages in the system. The data we provide can help them spot congested hubs," said Goel. His company recently completed a Rs 35-crore Series-A round.

Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon’s rapid growth is fuelling startups in an unassuming sector

The startup <a href="https://www.livemint.com/companies/start-ups/grofers-to-deploy-500-e-vans-in-fleet-by-december-end-1563802903457.html">announced</a> that its pilots have been successful where its delivery costs went down by 50%. Now, it plans to expand and take it to 500 EVs by December. Grofers is already using EVs in Delhi and Jaipur. It is also a part of electric vehicle freight project called Deliver Electric Delhi by the Delhi government. The startup joins the league of Zomato, Swiggy, Flipkart and others, who have declared their plans to switch to EVs for delivery. Swiggy too is piloting the use of Electric Vehicles for its deliveries across 10 cities. It said that the EV adoption can reduce running costs by 40%. Over the last two years, Grofers’ has grown by a staggering 800%, to achieve an annual revenue of $400 million. Deploying EVs could help cut costs further. The grocery retail startup raised over $200 million in May, from Softbank Vision Fund. With this funding, its reported valuation is set to be almost $1 billion – just a few steps away from being a unicorn. With this funding, its reported valuation is set to be almost $1 billion – just a few steps away from being a unicorn. The series F round also saw participation from new investor, KTB, and along with existing investors – Tiger Global Management and Sequoia Capital. The formerly reclusive Indian unicorn club now has many more members in it. In 2019, three Indian startups have already entered this club, which is exclusive for startups valued at and over $1 billion. Grofers could be the second grocery startup to garner this valuation. Its competitor <keyword id="964794" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="BigBasket">BigBasket</keyword> hit this number in March 2019. Staggering Growth According to the company's statement, over the last two years, Grofers’ has grown by a staggering 800%, to achieve an annual revenue of $400 million. “We are building Grofers for the millions of Indians who cannot buy groceries at low prices due to multiple middlemen and absence of large aggregators,” said Albinder Dhindsa, Co-Founder and CEO of Grofers in a statement. “This latest investment will help scale the company to ensure many more customers can access best quality products at best prices,” he added. Grofers plans to use new funds to expand to new markets across the country. The funding will help the startup build its supply chain network, warehousing infrastructure and private label products, and ensure a steady increase in product range. The investors are banking on growth in the Indian grocery segment which is expected to touch $869 billion by 2023. In March, BigBasket raised funding from its existing investor Alibaba along with South Korean firm, Mirae Asset. Meanwhile, yet another Indian unicorn Swiggy, too announced its foray into grocery segment, with Swiggy stores. Corporate giant <keyword id="6355199" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="reliance-industries">Reliance Industries</keyword> which owns and operates <keyword id="58448" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Reliance-Retail">Reliance Retail</keyword>, is keen on joining the bandwagon as it has acquired Mumbai-based hyperlocal service, Grab.
