<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=paytm&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Paytm</a> is soon going to give you options to buy over five million Chinese products that too at affordable prices as the Indian e-<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=ecommerce&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">commerce</a> platform is taking its association with <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=alibaba+group&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Alibaba Group</a> one notch higher. 
 <keyword id="6357120" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="PayTM">Paytm</keyword> has identified around 30 credible Indian merchants that will sell products from China such as home and kitchen, micro innovation including USB cookers, etc, fashion and mobile accessories and western fashion at cheaper rates. 
 "Inventory is the third pillar of commerce, after logistics and payments, which requires optimisation in India. Sellers who source using Paytm ties are allowed to sell on other marketplaces as well including <keyword id="6354742" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Flipkart">Flipkart</keyword>, <keyword id="541988" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="SnapDeal">Snapdeal</keyword>, Amazon, ShopClues," <keyword id="945258" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bhushan-Patil">Bhushan Patil</keyword>, who is heading the initiative for Paytm, told ET. 
 
"We expect the Indian SME's cost to come down three times with our direct connect. Most SMEs don't import directly, they import from local distributors, and there may be 2-3 steps shuffling, we connect directly. We also offer bonded warehousing facilities, leveraging our tie-ups with import houses and trusted payments with our partnership with Citibank, which further reduces costs at scale,” he added. 
 
Under this model, Indian sellers will be able to buy Chinese goods in bulk and sell them off in India. 
 
Patil told ET that the programme helps Indian sellers on Paytm offer new products on the B2C marketplace at competitive pricing. 
 "IndiaMART is focused on domestic B2B, serving buyers and sellers in India. Alibaba &amp; Paytm are working on helping Indian buyers connect with suppliers from China and buy from them. Both of us are serving different segments of the market," <keyword id="3019867" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Brijesh-Agarwal">Brijesh Agarwal</keyword>, cofounder of IndiaMART, told ET.

After State Bank of India's move to <keyword id="25455" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="40" keywordseo="finance">finance</keyword> MSME sellers attached with Snapdeal's online market place, <keyword id="6653" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="ICICI-bank">ICICI Bank</keyword> becomes the first bank in India to partner with <keyword id="163406" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Alibaba-com">Alibaba.com</keyword> for their online trade facilitation centre. Indian micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSME) who are members of Alibaba.com will also get access to ICICI Bank's other banking facilities such as cash management, <keyword id="6368276" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Foreign-exchange">foreign exchange</keyword>, bank guarantees and cross-border remittances. 
 "This collaboration underlines our commitment to providing users with banking solutions that simplify their lives. We believe this access to quick and integrated banking will enable Indian entrepreneurs to propel their business on the global platform," ICICI Bank Executive Director <keyword id="128186" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rajiv-Sabharwal">Rajiv Sabharwal</keyword> was quoted as saying in a press statement. 

	Banks are exploring this segment with e-commerce space growing thick and fast to meet the aspirations of the next generation customers and small businesses. 
 

	"With trade facilitation center, Alibaba.com expects to offer access to various financing, credit and logistics services provided by ICICI Bank for our Indian customers," said Bhushan Patil, channels director with Alibaba.com in India. "We have also worked to sweeten this proposition by enabling Alibaba.com's members in India to enjoy better rates and discounts on ICICI Bank's products and services."
