A female UFC star celebrated her latest championship win by posing naked, and it turns out it's a growing trend amongst fighters

Now, she's set to take on one of the most feared fighters in the world when she Ronda Rousey square off to headline UFC 190 this Friday.</p><p>It's a dramatic leap, one that few - including Correia - could have predicted.</p><p>Yahoo Sports Kevin Iole calls Correia, <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/news/bethe-correia-certainly-talking-like-she-can-beat-ronda-rousey-184253541.html">"</a><span class="s1"><a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/news/bethe-correia-certainly-talking-like-she-can-beat-ronda-rousey-184253541.html">one of the most unlikely UFC title challengers ever."</a> It would be very hard to dispute that claim. The 5' 5" Brazilian may be one of the top UFC fighters now, with an undefeated 9-0 record, but, in 2011 Correia had no real MMA and fighting experience.</span></p><p>In fact, Correia told Ozy's Shannon Sims she initially had no plans to try to compete professionally when she first started training. She joked she only picked up the sport because she <a href="http://news.yahoo.com/bethe-correia-undefeated-dark-horse-080000502.html">"<span class="s1">started getting fat, like all women do after they marry."</span></a></p><p><span class="s1">It wasn't until a random chance encounter with current Bellator Featherweight Champion Patricio Freire, at a gym in Natal, Brazil, that she started to take her training seriously. <span>Freire</span> told Sims he remembers being on the opposite end of the gym and hearing someone laying a beating on a punching bag, so he went out to see who it was. He was shocked to find out it was a young woman delivering the powerful blows.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">"I came in to see who was hitting it so hard," Freire said. "And when I saw it was this out-of-shape, regular-looking woman, I just stopped in my tracks."</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Freire convinced Correia to try out MMA at his personal gym nearby. Four years later she's still training at the same gym, except now for a title fight.</span></p><p class="p1">Despite the feel-good story, Correia remains a heavy underdog in her upcoming fight. Rousey opened as a <a href="http://www.mmamania.com/2015/3/22/8272913/ronda-rousey-vs-bethe-correia-odds-rowdy-massive-15-1-favorite-ufc-190-brazil-mma">15:1 favorite</a>, and nearly all experts expect another win - with many predicted it to come as early as <a href="http://www.mmamania.com/2015/3/22/8272913/ronda-rousey-vs-bethe-correia-odds-rowdy-massive-15-1-favorite-ufc-190-brazil-mma">the opening minutes of the first round</a>.</p><p>Correia, however, told Iole she remains confident she'll give Rousey, who owns an undefeated 11-0 record, her first loss.</p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">"Ronda is a very good athlete and she has accomplished a lot," Correia said. "But she's not the only one. I feel I have the style, the total game, to be the one to beat her. And so it doesn't matter if it is one, two or 10 times. Ronda Rousey's next opponent only started training in MMA four years ago in an attempt to lose weight

<p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>UFC champion Ronda Rousey is known for her 12-0 undefeated record, but more so for knocking out her opponents in lightning speed.<p>Her 2014 fight against Alexis Davis lasted 16 seconds. She followed that up&#xa0;with a match&#xa0;against Cat Zingano that spanned only 14 seconds.</p><p>Earlier this year when she finished off Bethe Correia, her most recent and arguably toughest opponent, in 34 seconds, people were impressed again.&#xa0;</p><p>During an interview with comedian Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday, Fallon asked Rousey about her illustrious career and her impressive knockouts. Rousey spoke on the length of her&#xa0;most recent fight, saying she was in no rush.</p><p>"I took my time," Rousey said. "It was longer than the other two combined."</p><p>Rousey said because of the way the fight was going, she could have opted to finish it even sooner.</p><p>"I could have finished it early because she went to the ground and she tried to close the distance," she said. "I could have thrown her. But I was like, 'no, you're getting knocked out tonight.' So it went 34 seconds."</p><p>Later in the interview, Rousey spoke about&#xa0;her upcoming November fight against Holly Holms, saying it would most likely take longer than the previous three.</p><p>"<span>This one's going to be a much longer fight because she's a 19-time world boxing champion with 100% takedown defense and head-kick knockouts," said Rousey.&#xa0;<span>"She's the type of fighter you have to be very, very patient with. I feel like she's going to try to like keep distance and keep far away from me and get me frustrated until the point I make a mistake and she can try to kick me in the head, but it's not going to go like that ... not the way she wants."</span></span></p><p>Rousey added, "<span>She's a nice chick. As the two most dominant fighters in women's MMA, the two have become intertwined over the years.</p><p class="embed-spacer">Rousey, who's 12-0 and fights at 135 pounds in UFC's bantamweight division, told ESPN's Brett Okamoto that if&#xa0;Justino wants to make the fight happen <a href="http://espn.go.com/mma/story/_/id/13367889/ronda-rousey-rips-cris-cyborg-justino-ped-weight-class">she needs to drop down to 135</a> in order to do so. Justino, who's 14-1, is signed with Invicta and fights in its 145-pound featherweight division. In an interview, Rousey,&#xa0;claimed dropping the 10-pound difference wouldn't be a problem&#xa0;for Justino,&#xa0;and made&#xa0;reference to&#xa0;<a href="http://www.mmamania.com/2012/1/6/2688267/cristiane-cyborg-santos-tests-positive-for-steroids-license-suspended">Justino's failed drug test four years ago</a>.</p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">"I'm prepared to deal with anything, that's why I'm the champion," Rousey&#xa0;said. "I fight in the UFC, in the 135-pound division. She can fight at 145 pumped full of steroids or she can make the weight just like everybody else without them."</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Justino tested positive for a performance enhancing drug&#xa0;following her 16-second knockout win over Hiroko Yamanaka in 2011. Justino blamed the failed test on <a href="http://www.mmamania.com/2012/1/7/2689892/cristiane-cyborg-santos-releases-statement-on-failed-steroid-test">a diet supplement</a> given to her by someone within her camp, and that she had no idea they were steroids. Ronda Rousey and the 2nd-best women's MMA fighter in the world are feuding over a steroid allegation

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey's last three opponents have lasted <a href="http://espn.go.com/mma/fighter/_/id/2563796/ronda-rousey">a combined 64 seconds</a>. Only once in her undefeated 12-fight career has an&#xa0;opponent made it past the first round against her.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Rousey, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/most-dominant-athletes-alive-2015-4">the most dominant athlete alive</a>, has been so clinical&#xa0;that <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/news/why-ronda-rousey-needs--cyborg--justino-205936737.html">fans and experts alike</a> can't think of a single fighter that could even give her trouble&#xa0;...&#xa0;except for one, Cris&#xa0;"Cyborg" Justino.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The possibility of a mega fight between the two fighters took a giant step forward Sunday&#xa0;when, following Rousey's knockout win over Bethe Correia, Justino&#xa0;told Fox Sports' Elias Cepeda she would try her best to meet Rousey's demands of <a href="http://www.foxsports.com/ufc/story/cyborg-justino-ronda-rousey-has-never-fought-someone-like-me-030415?vid=497095747874">a 135-pound weight limit</a>, if that's what it takes to secure the fight, although she said she would prefer a compromise of 140 pounds.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">"I think [140 pounds] would be perfect. One-forty&#xa0;I think I can make," Justino said. "One thirty five, I think would be hard, but I will try my best. If she really wants to make this fight happen, she can fight at 140. I think if she really wants this fight, she can do something special. Maybe, go up five pounds."</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Rousey and Justino are widely regarded as the two best fighters in women's MMA. Rousey is undefeated with a 12-0 record, while Justino has&#xa0;a 14-1 record, with her lone loss coming more than 10 years ago in her professional MMA debut. </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">While Rousey and Justino&#xa0;have been two of the most successful fighters in MMA, they also have very distinctive fighting styles. Rousey has been known to subdue her opponents with her vicious arm bar, with nine of her wins coming by submission. Justino, however, is known as a powerful puncher, with 12 of her wins coming by knockout.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">A potential fight has been brewing for years. However, talks have always died down once it came to the <a href="http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/5/2/8534049/cristiane-cyborg-justino-makes-a-plea-to-fight-ronda-rousey-at-140">discussion of what weight</a> the fight would take place at. Rousey fights in the bantamweight division at 135 pounds, while Justino commonly fights in the featherweight division at 145 pounds.</span></p><p class="p1"></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Since UFC only has two women's weight divisions, strawweight (115 pounds) and bantamweight (135 pounds), Rousey has never had to fight at any weight higher than 135, in recent years. Justino, however, is signed to Invicta where there are five weight classes - including featherweight (145 pounds), which she typically fights at.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The 10 pounds difference in weight has led to a standoff between the two fighters in the past. Justino has said she'd be willing to compromise, and fight at <a href="http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/5/2/8534049/cristiane-cyborg-justino-makes-a-plea-to-fight-ronda-rousey-at-140">a catch weight of 140 pounds</a>. Rousey, however, has rebuffed Justino's pleas of a catchweight, and said if she wants to make the fight happen, she <a href="http://espn.go.com/mma/story/_/id/13367889/ronda-rousey-rips-cris-cyborg-justino-ped-weight-class">needs to come down to 135</a>.</span></p><p class="p1">Justino <a href="https://instagram.com/p/53to5chUJe/?taken-by=criscyborg">posted a photo on Instagram</a> Saturday saying that she plans to fight at a catchweight of 140 pounds in her next fight, and then hopes she can make a potential fight with Rousey happen soon after:</p><p class="p1"><div></div></p><p class="p1">The caption reads:</p><p class="p1" style="padding-left: 30px;">"Good fight for Honda. My next fight is 140lbs, then I hope we get a chance to give fans the WMMA fight the most violent fight in the history of MMA!"</p><p class="p1">Following her 34-second knockout win over Correia Saturday night, Rousey was asked, once again, about the possibility of <a href="http://espn.go.com/mma/story/_/id/13367889/ronda-rousey-rips-cris-cyborg-justino-ped-weight-class">a fight against Justino</a>, and the question over what weight the supposed fight would take place at.</p><p class="p1">"I'm prepared to deal with anything, that's why I'm the champion," Rousey told ESPN's Brett Okamoto. "I fight in the UFC, in the 135-pound division. She can fight at 145 pumped full of steroids or she can make the weight just like everybody else without them."</p><p class="p1">Justino <a href="http://www.mmamania.com/2012/1/6/2688267/cristiane-cyborg-santos-tests-positive-for-steroids-license-suspended">tested positive for steroids</a> following her 16-second knockout win over Hiroko Yamanaka in 2011. That fight -&#xa0;now I'm changing my mind on that fight -&#xa0;I think that fight does two-and-a-half million buys. <p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Harry How/Getty</span></p></div><p></p></div></div>UFC president Dana White says he believes a potential mega-fight between <a href="http://espn.go.com/mma/story/_/id/13140293/espn-women-pound-pound-rankings">No. 1 ranked pound-for-pound</a> women's fighter Ronda Rousey and <a href="http://espn.go.com/mma/story/_/id/13140293/espn-women-pound-pound-rankings">No. 2 ranked</a> Cris "Cyborg" Justino wouldn't just break UFC pay-per-view records - it would shatter them.</p><p>Speaking about the possibility of a Rousey-Justino fight <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/news/dana-white-revised-now-believes-ronda-rousey-vs-062136135--mma.html">after Rousey knocked out Bethe Correia in 34 seconds</a>, White said that he has increased his original prediction of 2 million pay-per-view buys to 2.5 million, a number which would shatter the previous record of 1.6 million set by the Frank Mir-Brock Lesnar fight in 2009:</p><p class="p1" style="padding-left: 30px;"><span class="s1">"The day that [Justino] makes the weight and does what she's supposed to do, that fight is on. She wants that fight - everybody - you think I don't' want that fight to happen? That fight - now I'm changing my mind on that fight - I think that fight does two-and-a-half million buys. That fight is massive."</span></p><p class="p1">White's prediction is bold. While Rousey has become a household name, and is <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/how-ronda-rousey-became-the-most-dominant-athlete-alive-2015-4">"the most dominant athlete alive,"</a> her recent UFC main event pay-per-view numbers <a href="http://mmapayout.com/blue-book/pay-per-view/">never broke 1 million buys</a>, let alone come close to White's predicted 2.5 million, according to MMA Payout:</p><ul><li>Feb. 23, 2013: UFC 157 Rousey vs. Carmouche - 450,000 buys</li><li>Feb. 22, 2014: UFC 170 Rousey vs. McMann - 350,000 buys</li><li>Feb. 28, 2015: UFC 184 Rousey vs. Zingano - 590,000 buys</li></ul><p><span style="line-height: 22.5px;">Even with Rousey's latest main event, UFC 190, <a href="http://www.mmamania.com/2015/8/2/9086071/dana-white-ufc-190-ppv-buys-trending-bigger-ufc-189">rumored to have surpassed 800,000 buys</a>, that's still no where near the realm of 2.5 million. While White's prediction would appear almost far-fetched, Justino, herself, when speaking on ESPN's SportsCenter, described the fight as something <a href="http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:13382264">"that has to happen,"</a> and one that would generate a large audience:</span></p><p class="p1" style="padding-left: 30px;"><span class="s1">"This fight has to happen. Because if UFC thinks I don't deserve this fight, don't just do it for media, do it for all the fans that want to watch this fight. You don't have to do it for me. If I don't deserve this fight, my fans and the fans of women's MMA want to see this fight, and they deserve this fight."</span></p><p class="p1">While Rousey and Justino have had talks of a potential fight in the past, negotiations have always fallen apart when it came to decide <a href="http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/5/2/8534049/cristiane-cyborg-justino-makes-a-plea-to-fight-ronda-rousey-at-140">what weight the fight should be held at</a>. Rousey is signed with UFC, and fights in the bantamweight division at 135 pounds. Justino, however, is signed with Invicta, and fights in the featherweight division at 145 pounds.</p><p class="p1">Since there is no women's featherweight division in UFC, Justino would either have to convince Rousey to agree to a catch weight of 140 pounds - which <a href="http://espn.go.com/mma/story/_/id/13367889/ronda-rousey-rips-cris-cyborg-justino-ped-weight-class">Rousey has repeatedly denied</a> - or be forced to drop 10 pounds, and fight at 135. While Justino admitted this would be difficult, she recently said <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/ronda-rousey-cris-cyborg-fight-2015-8">she will attempt to do so</a> - leading to the current re-energized discussions over a possible record-breaking main event starring the two fighters.</p><p class="p1">Until then, Rousey recently confirmed she'll fight Miesha Tate for a third time.
