This Eid-ul-Fitr, he has announced his new film '<keyword id="21269802" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sikandar" source="keywords">Sikandar</keyword>', set to be directed by <keyword id="20259931" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="AR-Murugadoss" source="keywords">AR Murugadoss</keyword>. Revealing the film's title on Instagram, Salman wrote,"Iss Eid 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' aur 'Maidaan' ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar Milo (Watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan on this Eid, next Eid, meet Sikandar). Wish u all Eid Mubarak!" Backed by <keyword id="27326" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sajid-Nadiadwala" source="Orion">Sajid Nadiadwala</keyword> and helmed by Murugadoss, the movie will be released in theatres on <keyword id="20931972" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="eid-2025" source="Orion">Eid 2025</keyword>. AR Murugadoss made his Hindi debut with 'Ghajini', which crossed Rs 100 crore at the box office. He also helmed Akshay Kumar's film, 'Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty'. For years Salman has been coming up with films on Eid. The first film of the actor to release on Eid was back in 1997 with Judwaa and since then he has been making sure to entertain his fans on Eid with his films. His movies like Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, Bharat and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan were released on the occasion of Eid. Eid is undoubtedly synonymous with a Salman Khan film release. This year he broke the pattern, but made sure to make his fans' Eid special with the film announcement. Salman was last seen in the thriller film 'Tiger 3', which performed well at the box office. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, the film also starred Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles.

Having been in the market since 2013, Rockstar Games has sold around 90 million copies of the game worldwide according to <a href="https://www.marketwatch.com/story/this-violent-videogame-has-made-more-money-than-any-movie-ever-2018-04-06">Marketwatch</a>. Since the game pans across all the platforms, the sales account for all the versions including PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. Not only has GTA V seen massive sales, but it has amassed approximately $6 billion in revenue. The number is impressive enough on it’s own but when you compare it to the revenue generated by our cinematic universe, it really puts things in perspective. GTA V came out in 2013, when Bollywood was releasing movies like <keyword id="227940" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Chennai-Express">Chennai Express</keyword>, Race 2, and Kai Po Che. These were the highest grossing movies that year but even then, Chennai Express, which was ahead of the rest, only managed to generate $67 million in revenue. Even Rohit Shetty’s stunts could not match up to being able fly one plane into another. It’s invariable in the long run as well if you analyse the highest grossing movies in Bollywood overall. Including titles like <keyword id="6358210" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Dangal">Dangal</keyword>, <keyword id="3345286" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="secret-superstar">Secret Superstar</keyword>, <keyword id="2411684" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bajrangi-Bhaijaan">Bajrangi Bhaijaan</keyword> and PK, the most they’ve been able to earn is $291 million. Aamir Khan can have all the screen presence in the world but, GTA V’s story pulls you into its darkly comic world. And here’s some more perspective, even evergreen content like Dilwaale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun have fallen short at around $52 million. What really adds context to the $6 billion dollars generated by GTA V is the fact that despite their popularity and production value, even Hollywood movies don’t measure up. Epic features like Star Wars and Gone with the Wind get left in the dust at $3 billion. The reality of the situation is that GTA has more versions to its name than the Fast and Furious movies, and they’ve been building their fanbase for a long time now. The game operates on the edge of being plausible. But, no matter, the main characters remain relatable through and through. In all honesty, the gaming industry has always been bigger than both Hollywood and Bollywood. Any all-rounding game not only has direction, a narrative, originality and amazing stunts but also something that the film industry can’t provide - they give you a chance be a part of the story.

 Salman on Wednesday morning took to <keyword id="819905" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Instagram">Instagram</keyword> to share a picture with his Dabangg 3 director Prabhudeva. "Chulbul Pandey is coming to you on December 20 in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu," the 53-year-old superstar tweeted, announcing Dabangg 2. Khan and Prabhudheva reunited for this project after Wanted in 2009. Dabangg 3 will launch a fresh face - Saiee -- the daughter of actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar. The budding actress will play the love interest of superstar Salman Khan's character, Chulbul Pandey. In the last ten years, Khan has many superhits tucked under his belt like Ek Tha Tiger, and its sequel Tiger Zinda Hai, Dabangg series, besides Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Both Dabangg and Dabangg 2 have earned as much as ₹100 crores. The first movie of the series Dabangg was the highest opener of all time in the country with a collection of ₹145 million, and it collected a total of ₹2.19 billion. Dabangg 2 was able to gross ₹127 crore within ten days of its release.
