Notably, these fictional claims were filed the day before the New York State filing deadline expires."</p><p>"Though he doesn't deny the possibility of a fan photo taken in passing, Mr. Rose has no recollection of ever meeting or speaking to the Plaintiff, and has never heard about these fictional allegations prior to today," Gutman said. "Mr. Rose is confident this case will be resolved in his favor."</p><p class="p3">Kennedy says she met Rose at a New York nightclub in 1989. The Guns N' Roses lead singer invited her to an afterparty at his hotel, the lawsuit alleges, and Kennedy joined Rose, his friend David Rachtman, and another model at the hotel.</p><p class="p3">As the night progressed, Rose told Rachtman to clear the suite of "everyone except Kennedy and the other model," the suit alleges.</p><p class="p3">"Kennedy soon found herself in Rose's bedroom in bed with Rose, Rachtman, and the other model," the civil complaint alleges. "Rose began kissing and having sex with the other model."</p><p class="p3">But "Rose was aggressive in a way that appeared painful for the model," and Kennedy found the encounter "uncomfortable" and "disturbing" because it seemed like Rose was "encouraging" group sex, the lawsuit alleges.</p><p class="p3">Kennedy and Rachtman left Rose's room and went to Rachtman's bedroom, the lawsuit alleges, but they later heard Rose screaming at the woman and "objects being thrown and the sound of glass shattering."</p><p class="p3">Rachtman warned Kennedy: "It's going to get bad," according to the complaint.</p><p class="p3">Rose then stormed down the hallway to Rachtman's room, the lawsuit alleges, and said to Kennedy, "What the fuck are you doing back here?"</p><p class="p3">He knocked Kennedy to the floor, grabbed her by her hair, and "dragged her across the suite back to his bedroom," the lawsuit alleges.</p><p class="p3">Rose threw Kennedy on the bed on her stomach, tied her hands behind her back with pantyhose, and "forcibly" penetrated her, the complaint alleges.</p><p class="p3">Rose was "in a sexual, volatile rage," Kennedy's lawsuit alleges, saying that "Kennedy believed Rose would physically attack her, or worse, if she said no or attempted to push him away. She understood that the safest thing to do was to lie in bed and wait for Rose to finish assaulting her."</p><p class="p3">The lawsuit seeks a jury trial and punitive and compensatory damages as well as a judgment against Rose for pain and suffering.</p>

Axl Rose is trying to remove an unflattering image of himself from the internet

<ul class="summary-list"><li>Andrew Cuomo's former executive assistant is suing him for sexual harassment. </li><li>The former New York governor faces allegations of forcible touching and unwelcome sexual advances.</li></ul><p>A former executive assistant to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who accused him of groping her in late 2020, is suing the former governor under New York's Adult Survivors Act. <br /><br />Brittany Commisso claims in court papers that Cuomo's "continuous sexual harassment" included "unwelcome sexual advances, sexualized comments about appearance and personal matters, relations, their dating, their sex life, and her marriage, assignment of humiliating and demeaning tasks, hugs, kisses, sexual touching of the buttocks, and forcible touching of the breast," according to a three-page summons filed Wednesday.</p><p class="p1">The document said Cuomo's behavior created a "pervasive hostile work environment," and that Commisso suffered "serious physical, emotional, and psychological pain, suffering and injuries" as a result.</p><p class="p1">Commisso's filing came just days before New York's Adult Survivors Act expired. The law provided a one-year window for adults to file civil lawsuits related to sexual abuse allegations that would otherwise have been past the statute of limitations. A number of high-profile men have been sued in New York under the ASA in recent days, including <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/new-york-city-mayor-eric-adams-accused-1993-sexual-assault-2023-11">Mayor Eric Adams</a>, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/jamie-foxx-sexual-assault-new-york-bar-adult-survivors-act2023-11">actor Jamie Foxx</a>, Guns N' Roses frontman <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/axl-rose-group-sexual-assault-lawsuit-2023-11">Axl Rose</a>, and rapper <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/sean-combs-diddy-sexual-assault-lawsuit-joi-dickerson-neal-cassie-2023-11">Sean "Diddy" Combs</a>. All four men have denied the allegations against them.</p><p>Commisso<strong>,</strong> who worked in the governor's office between 2019 and 2021, had previously pursued criminal charges against Cuomo for the forcible touching allegations, but the case was <a target="_blank" href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/judge-dismisses-criminal-charge-against-former-n-y-governor-andrew-n1287186">dismissed</a> in 2022 after prosecutors said they could not meet the burden of proof.</p><p class="p1">Cuomo has long denied Commisso's allegations, which were first made public in 2021. Cuomo's attorney, Rita Glavin, referenced the dropped criminal case in a statement provided to Business Insider.</p><p class="p1">"Ms. Commisso's claims are provably false, which is why the Albany District Attorney dismissed the case two years ago after a thorough investigation," Glavin said. "Ms. Commisso's transparent attempt at a cash grab will fail. We look forward to seeing her in court."</p><p class="p1"><a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/gov-andrew-cuomo-resigns-sexual-harassment-scandal-2021-3">Cuomo resigned in August 2021</a>, shortly after New York's attorney general, Letitia James, released a <a target="_blank" href="https://ag.ny.gov/sites/default/files/2021.08.03_nyag_-_investigative_report.pdf">165-page investigative report</a> documenting allegations that he had sexually harassed 11 women — including members of his staff.</p><p class="p1">Despite concluding that Cuomo "<a target="_blank" href="https://ag.ny.gov/press-release/2021/independent-investigators-find-governor-cuomo-sexually-harassed-multiple-women">violated multiple state and federal laws</a>," James' report did not reach a conclusion on whether his conduct should be criminally prosecuted. And though <a target="_blank" href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/31/nyregion/andrew-cuomo-charges.html">prosecutors in Oswego, Albany, Westchester, and Nassau Counties</a> opened criminal investigations into Cuomo's conduct, Commisso's allegation of forcible touching was the only one to result in a criminal charge against Cuomo.</p><p class="p1">The report, which referred to Commisso as "Executive Assistant #1," alleged that Cuomo once kissed her on the lips, had grabbed her buttocks during hugs multiple times, and once even reached under her blouse to grab her breast during a hug.</p><p class="p1">Commisso later revealed herself publicly as Executive Assistant #1 and told media outlets that <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/cuomo-accuser-brittany-commisso-cbs-albany-criminal-complaint-sexual-harassment-2021-8">she wanted Cuomo to be held accountable</a>.</p><p class="p1">"What he did to me was a crime. He broke the law," Commisso said at the time.</p>

"It has been a very difficult time but just knowing your love is out there makes a difference."</p><p>Her post was shared not long after Lisa Marie was laid to rest on the grounds of <a href="https://www.insider.com/lisa-marie-presley-children-inherit-elvis-graceland-mansion-estate-2023-1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Graceland</a>, the Presley family's estate <a href="https://www.insider.com/graceland-elvis-presley-home-mansion-tour-memphis-tennessee-photos-2022-6" target="_blank" rel="noopener">in Memphis, Tennessee</a>. She was buried in the Meditation Garden next to her son <a href="https://www.insider.com/lisa-marie-presley-blames-herself-for-son-benjamin-death-2022-8" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Benjamin Keough</a>, who died by suicide at the age of 27 in July 2020.</p><p>During the <a href="https://www.insider.com/photos-lisa-marie-presleys-family-fans-pay-homage-memorial-2023-1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">memorial service</a> for the late entertainer on Sunday, Priscilla shared a touching poem titled "Old Soul" <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/01/23/priscilla-presley-reads-lisa-maries-daughters-poem-at-memorial/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">written by one of her granddaughters</a>.</p><p>"In 1968, she entered our world, born tired, fragile, yet strong. She was delicate but was filled with life. She always knew she wouldn't be here too long,'" Priscilla began, according to <a href="https://people.com/music/priscilla-presley-eulogizes-daughter-lisa-marie-presley-broken-heart/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a>.</p><p>The poem continued: "Childhood passes by, with a glimpse of her green eye, she then grew a family of her own. Then came her second child, leaving her with suspicion — could this be the angel that takes me home?'"</p><p>The poem went on to say that "a broken heart was the doing of her death," and mentioned Lisa Marie's "survivor's guilt" around her <a href="https://www.insider.com/lisa-marie-presley-healing-from-benjamin-keough-suicide-before-death-2023-1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">son's suicide</a>, which happened two and half years ago.</p><div type="image" title="Dressed in black, Priscilla Presley speaks at Lisa Marie Presley's memorial." height="3648" width="4864" msid="97290762" hostid="261" sizebytes="195024"></div><p>"Now, she is home where she always belonged, but my heart is missing her love. Lisa, we all love you," Priscilla commented before returning to her seat.</p><p>Attendees of the service included <a href="https://www.insider.com/vanessa-hudgens-austin-butler-elvis-accent-reaction-response-2023-1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Austin Butler</a>, Axl Rose, Alanis Morissette, Billy Corgan, and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York as well as other family members, including Lisa Marie's daughters Riley Keough, 33, and 14-year-old twins Finley and Harper Lockwood.</p><p>Elsewhere during the memorial service, Keough — whose father is musician Danny Keough — revealed that Lisa Marie was <a href="http://insider.com/riley-keough-confirms-birth-of-daughter-lisa-marie-presley-funeral-2023-1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">made a grandmother before her death.</a></p><p>"I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters," Keough wrote in a eulogy read aloud by her husband Ben Smith-Petersen.</p><p>A representative for Keough confirmed to Insider that the 33-year-old actor and her husband did indeed welcome their first child together sometime in 2022, but declined to elaborate further.</p>

The band dropped a surprise <a href="https://www.facebook.com/lcdsoundsystem/?fref=nf">new song</a>,<span>"</span><span>Christmas Will Break Your Heart," </span>on Christmas Eve and was officially announced as a headliner for the Coachella Music and Arts Festival yesterday.</p><p>And the band's <a href="http://lcdsoundsystem.com/main/">website</a> claims that other 2016 tour dates are coming soon. </p><p>It was <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/guns-n-roses-reuniting-for-coachella-2016-2015-12">previously reported</a> that Guns N' Roses, including co-founders Axl Rose and Slash, would be reuniting for Coachella and a possible stadium tour. LCD Soundsystem is reuniting after five years to tour and will headline Coachella

That didn't work out for Philadelphia fans.</p><p>While the league boasted the likes of Mike Bibby, Chauncey Billups, and Jermaine O'Neal, it was no secret that the biggest marquee draw the it had in it's elevator pitch was Allen Iverson in the role of player-coach.</p><p>Last night when the Big3 League arrived in Philadelphia, many local fans were excited to have the chance to see their favorite Sixer ever lace up his shoes one more time in their home stadium. But after Iverson received a rousing ovation from his hometown crowd, he never entered the game due to an injury and doctor's orders.</p><p>The announcement came just a few minutes before the games were set to begin at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, and was made via the Big3 Instagram feed, which you can find below.</p><p>Needless to say, many fans were disappointed. <p>West gave a new interview to <a href="http://www.wmagazine.com/people/celebrities/2013/06/kanye-west-on-kim-kardashian-and-his-new-album-yeezus/" target="_blank">W magazine</a> in which he makes no attempt to sound humble, explaining of the track: <span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">“I made that song because I am a god.  I don’t think there’s much more explanation. I’m not going to sit here and defend s---. That s--- is rock ’n’ roll, man. That s--- is rap music. I am a god. Now what?”</span></p>

<p><span><span>"So the next day I went to the studio with Daft Punk, and I wrote ‘I Am a God,’?” West says. “Cause it’s like, Yo! Nobody can tell me where I can and can’t go. Man, I’m the No. 1 living and breathing rock star. I am Axl Rose; I am Jim Morrison; I am Jimi Hendrix.”</span></span></p>
