Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], July 19 (ANI): The <keyword id="6375844" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ministry-of-micro" source="Orion">Ministry of Micro</keyword>, <keyword id="6375845" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="small-and-medium-enterprises" source="Orion">Small and Medium Enterprises</keyword> launched a new initiative called the 'Yashaswini' initiative under the '<keyword id="22467687" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Empower-Her-Udan" source="Orion">Empower Her Udan</keyword>' campaign on Thursday, July 18, to encourage and support women entrepreneurs across the country. Under this campaign, the first phase is set to start on Friday, July 19, in Jaipur. According to the Director of <keyword id="6358354" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="MSME" source="Orion">MSME</keyword>, <keyword id="657556" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ankita-Pandey" source="Orion">Ankita Pandey</keyword>, around 600 women entrepreneurs in the state will be participating in the event, which will start at the <keyword id="14599491" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rajasthan-International-Centre" source="Orion">Rajasthan International Centre</keyword> today. Pandey said that the initiative is being introduced to provide a formal education for women operating commercial enterprises, along with creating awareness among them of all the <keyword id="7776964" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="MSME-schemes" source="Orion">MSME schemes</keyword> they can utilise. "The initiative is to introduce formal education for the women who operate commercial enterprises, along with creating awareness among them to utilise all the MSME schemes,' she said. Pandey further mentioned that women can register at different stalls at the centre based on the skills they require to develop to run an enterprise, including training, capacity building, how to make full use of their capital, how to get market access, how to develop their product, and also how to do digital marketing. She also mentioned that this will not be a one-day event and that workshops will be organised at local MSMEs for further development. "This is not a one-day event; it will be a continuous process and training workshops will also be organised at local MSME organisations for further development in this matter," she said. <keyword id="22467688" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Union-Minister-for-MSME" source="Orion">Union Minister for MSME</keyword> Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Minister of State for MSME Sobha Karandlaje, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma and State Cabinet Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore will be participating at the event today.

There, I said it. Why wouldn’t it be? You’re basically convincing them to spend their money on an idea that you and your team have a hunch about and believe in. You can visualise it as clearly as a movie you just saw, but now the client has to also see it. In the current remote working scenario, which still doesn’t seem to have an end date, this process has only gotten tougher. Why? Because the process now lacks some of the key elements that a live meeting offers in abundance, like the chance to gauge the level of enthusiasm through body language, or the constant eye contact to hold someone’s attention, or the discussions that flow and extend deeper than just the pitch. I believe that we often circle the pitching process around simply presenting the PPT, but going beyond is where the real strength of the pitch lies. Based on the insights and experience I've gained, here are a couple of suggestions that work brilliantly for me. Some of these may seem rebellious at first glance, but give them a minute, maybe they’ll surprise you and feel like worth trying. So let’s dive right into it. Ditch that PPT! If you’re still reading after that heading, god! you’re brave! We’re so used to PPTs while pitching an idea that we often forget that it’s not always necessary to have the slides guide your way at every step of the conversation. It could just be a conversation; albeit an engaging and convincing one at that. While PPTs do provide amazing backup and data accessories, an insight stems from cultural and human behaviour, and a human connect can work wonders to establish the idea. So go ahead and tell them a story, one that transports them and makes them see the idea as you do. I don’t hate numbers, I just like stories more! Oh! And what if you could mix the two you ask? That’s what the next one is about. You &gt; PPT You as the speaker should be leading the presentation but what we usually see is the exact opposite, i.e. the PPT leads and the presenter follows. The core reason why people in meetings lose interest is because more often than not what’s on the screen is exactly what’s being spoken. Hardly any anecdotes or experiences are added to make the available information more interesting. That’s a huge no! The pitch has to always be a 2-way communication with unique incidents, stories, etc. told colloquially, fitting the larger narrative of your idea. Content is King. Context, the Queen Setting context at different points in the pitch meeting is supremely important because without that, even the best content can fall flat. At the very beginning of the presentation, it’s imperative to let the client know what you have in store for them - whether it is a campaign or just different communication routes, whether ideas are fleshed out to the T or just thought starters. This helps set expectations and the flow for the meeting. So everything that follows just seems easier. When you’re moving from the strategy to the creative part of the presentation, you sum up the key points and then segway into the creative communication. This comprises the journey the team actually went through while putting the plan together. This is crucial as the client must know how it all panned out. It’s simple really - the more the context, the less the questions you leave people with. Gimmicks win Pitches! Who hasn’t heard about how the famous Fevikwik Fishing Ad was pitched and won by the great Piyush Pandey at Ogilvy? Another famous story is about how Anil Kapoor from FCB won Mahindra Vehicles’ huge business for the agency in just one meeting. Gimmicks - no matter the scale, just straight up take you two notches higher in the game. It gets the client to notice you, and more importantly remember you. If it’s a pitch you can’t afford to lose - think of something quirky or heartwarming to do during the presentation. Take them by surprise. It just goes on to show the client how excited you are to have their brand on board and that zest is something every client’s looking for at all times. Leave that mark on them, because if it’s a close call, you’ll thank that little hint of drama. We’re in a highly creative industry and ideating and executing creative projects is literally our job. So, why not add a pinch (or a bottle-full) of creativity and boldness into how we pitch the ideas. Go ahead and create a winning formula that works the best for you and your organisation.

Clad in green sarees, the women are working as eyes and ears of the UP police and administration."Active in 55 villages of Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ayodhya, Sonebhadra and Mirzapur, the women of 'Green Gang', as they are known, are doing their bit to help the administration in every way they can," said Divyanshu Upadhyay, founder and secretary of Hope Welfare Trust set up by students of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) with the support of some professors.These women have been running anti-liquor campaigns and fight for social causes in their villages. Each village has a group of 25 such women, who actively champion social causes."With the spread of COVID-19 virus, we are providing food to migrant labourers. We are also keeping an eye on those coming from other states to their home and inform administration about them. We create awareness regarding coronavirus," said Roshan Khatoon of Rajgarh Village in Mirzapur.Champa Devi of Naxal-hit Bhawanipur village in Mirzapur, who is group leader of the 'Green Gang', is busy stitching face masks."We have stitched 500 masks and distributed them among people, telling them about its importance," Champa Devi said.About the funding, President of Hope, Ravi Mishra said, "We and members of our group are contributing for the case. Those members, who have got jobs, are also helping as also professors of BHU." He said that till now ration and food packets have been distributed among 5,000 persons, including migrant labourers, in five districts of the state, where the Green Gang has presence."Women of our group are themselves cooking and making packets and also going to distribute them," Ankita Singh, a core member of the group, said.She said that they were targeting those who did not have bank accounts or ration cards to get relief from the government and were providing them with necessary ration to survive.Group leaders of different villages like Asha Devi of Khusiari village in Varanasi, Tabassun of Deva, Varanasi, or Manju Devi of Ratia in Ayodhya are collecting rations from villages for the needy.Acknowledging their contribution, then UP DGP OP Singh had given 'police mitra' (friend of police) tag to these women, who at times are very helpful in tackling or giving tips on local issues.
