Paris [France], August 5 (ANI): Indian Men's <keyword id="20016187" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="hockey" source="keywords">Hockey</keyword> Team defender <keyword id="21262191" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amit-Rohidas" source="keywords">Amit Rohidas</keyword> is set to miss the semifinal clash against Germany on Tuesday after receiving a <keyword id="22668702" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="one-match-ban" source="keywords">one-match ban</keyword> for his foul in the quarterfinal clash against Great Britain. In the second quarter of the match, Rohidas was given a red card after he raised his stick and caught opponent William Calnan's head. <keyword id="19895063" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="India" source="keywords" meta.keywordsubtype="org" meta.entityname="India" meta.hostid="261" meta.entityid="India">India</keyword> played the rest of the match one-man down. The International Hockey Federation (FIH) released an official statement where they announced that the player is set to miss one match because of his misconduct. "Amit Rohidas was suspended for one match for a breach of the FIH Code of Conduct which occurred during the India vs Great Britain match on August 4," the FIH official statement read as quoted by Olympics.com. "The suspension affects match No. 35 (India's <keyword id="20509843" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="semi-final" source="keywords">semi-final</keyword> match against Germany), where Amit Rohidas will not participate and India will play with a squad of 15 players only," the statement added. Amit Rohidas who mans India's defence along with captain Harmanpreet Singh serves a dual role in the team as he is also India's first rusher during the penalty corners. Coming to the match, Harmanpreet Singh-led Indian men's hockey team defeated Great Britain in a thrilling quarter-final match at the Paris Olympics and advanced into the semi-final. As the scores were level at 1-1 after the end of regulation time, India won the shootout 4-2 and made the semi-finals. In the second quarter of the encounter, India took a 1-0 lead after skipper Harmanpreet Singh converted a penalty corner. India had four penalty corner opportunities while Great Britain had five in the second quarter. Before halftime, Great Britain's Lee Morton scored the equaliser and gave his side a moment to breathe. In the second half, Great Britain failed to score, despite multiple opportunities. Meanwhile, in the shootout, India scored all four of their attempts. While Indian goalkeeper PR Sreejesh saved one, helping India move into the semis of the tournament.

They are growing at about 50% target growth this year. So I think expanding our reach and getting deeper into the category we’re already present in will further fuel our growth,” added Amit. Amit also shares that he does not want Noise to be an India-centric brand and that it is already testing global markets. “Design, R&amp;D and consumer-centricity are our three key pillars and we will continue to aggressively focus on that to grow our brand,” added Amit. On what his larger vision for the brand is, Amit said, “Over the years, we have seen many international brands coming in to India. Dhiraj has over 1 lakh votes to his name accounting for 67.57% of the vote share. He's currently poised to win by a margin of 1,21,482 votes. His elder brother, Amit Deshmukh, has won that seat for the Indian National Congress (INC) in 2009 and 2014. But, this time around, Amit will be contesting for the Latur’s urban seat — where the INC has also won the past two Assembly elections. Amit has 1,10,443 votes, which makes up for 52.48% vote share. Congress' Deshmukh brothers win in Latur bucking the BJP wave in Maharashtra

Amit Shah will take charge as India's Home minister in Narendra Modi's new cabinet

BJP president <keyword id="6355521" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Amit-Shah">Amit Shah</keyword> has said the Narendra Modi-led government and the Indian army will give a "befitting reply" firing from <keyword id="3001" type="COUNTRY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Pakistan">Pakistan</keyword> along the international border in <keyword id="6357972" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jammu">Jammu</keyword> and Kashmir.

"It was Omar Abdullah's duty to meet people displaced due to the Pakistani firing. Why didn't he meet affected people rather than add insult to injury?" Shah said. 
 
Reacting to Shah's attack, Omar Abdullah said, "We can't do anything with cross border shelling. That's something for the government of India to see how they will respond to that. But saying that we are not doing anything for those who are affected would be wrong."
