Karan Johar just became a father

Barely a year after he made his movie debut in the credit roll of his father’s movie Happy New Year (HNY), <keyword id="1671" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shah-Rukh-Khan">Shah Rukh Khan</keyword>’s younger son AbRam made his IPL debut too. 
 
Seems like the kid is a lucky charm for his doting dad; not only was HNY a huge hit at the Box Office, SRK’s IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders went ahead to win the game against Mumbai Indians. 
 
Dressed in a white T-shirt with KKR’s logo printed over it, the kid looked an absolute copy of his superstar Dad, who wore a similar T-shirt and sported a similar, messy hairdo. 
 
AbRam, who was born in 2013, is the third child and second son of Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan, the first two being Aryan (born 1997) and Suhana (born 2000).

Star Wars' director J.J. Abrams says Rey's parents are not in 'The Force Awakens

Mumbai, May 4 () Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Madhuri Dixit Nene among others turned signers for a digital concert to raise funds for the frontliners working round-the-clock to contain the coronavirus pandemic in the country.Facebook collaborated with some of the biggest names in Indian entertainment industry and Hollywood names like Mick Jagger, Will Smith and Sophie Turner to put together a home-to-home fundraiser concert, 'I For India' on Sunday.The line-up was introduced by filmmakers Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar, with Akshay Kumar kick-starting the concert with a poem penned by lyricist Manoj Muntashir, titled "Tumse Ho Nahi Payega."It was followed by Aamir and his director-wife Kiran Rao, who said it was important in current times to extend support to the needy."But most importantly, to not leave hope," Aamir said, urging people to donate for the frontline workers. The duo then sang classics such as "Aa Chalke Tujhe Main Leke Chalun" and "Jeena Isika Naam Hai".Shah Rukh closed the concert with a song composed by rapper Badshah and penned by lyricist Saini. Titled "Sab Sahi Ho Jayega", the song is about the perils of being locked up inside homes and the hope that sooner or later the world will be coronavirus free. "Everybody who knows me knows that I cannot sing to save my life. So thank you for taking a chance on me, everybody. This was the ‘debut’ that every watcher and non-watcher of politics had been waiting for! The biggest ‘watch-out-for’ moment in Indian politics in a while, atleast ever since <keyword id="6354477" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Narendra-Modi">Narendra Modi</keyword> lay claim to the primeminsitership of India. In fact, if like the IPL, the <keyword id="6354721" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="parliament">parliament</keyword> sessions could be sponsored (no, I am not committing blasphemy by saying that), this particular ‘match’ would have received the highest sponsorship! The event- <keyword id="1575" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Congress">Congress</keyword> <keyword id="797620" type="COMPANY" weightage="80" keywordseo="scion">scion</keyword>, <keyword id="5268" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Rahul-Gandhi">Rahul Gandhi</keyword>’s ‘speaking debut’ during a parliament session. Yes, you heard that right. Yes, this was Rahul 2.0, a new improved Gandhi scion, freshly returned from where ever it is that he went to ‘meditate’ and ‘chill’. Smirking, taunting and poking fun at his opponents, even taking as many as 11 jibes at the political hawk that Modi is known to be. 
 
Of the many wisecracks were some of these jewels: ‘You came to power promising growth, but done nothing.’ ‘It’s what the BJP does best. Say three different, contradictory things, and claim all the three to be true.’ ‘This government is for the rich. This government is trying to help its industrial friends. This government is for the suited booted.’ ‘More than 60% of the country depends on agriculture. Don’t harm the farmers, because tomorrow they will come back and harm you.’ 
 
Smart political one-liners, maybe, what he definitely lacked was the depth, the political acumen of say a Narendra Modi, his opponent-in-chief, who has a retort ready for every sticky question, who can mold every negative situation into his advantage. However what was definitely changed to his advantage was his new-found confidence, the fact that he had come well-prepared (the stack of papers he was reading out of was more than proof!), and the fact that clearly there is more to come. 
 
One did get the feeling that the offensive has just begun and Rahul baba has finally grown up and turned into the rightful ‘crusader’ of the farmers, the people who represent more than 67% of the population. So, if day 1 of this parliament session were anything to go by, the next few weeks could actually shadow the entertainment factor of even the on going IPL, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Dhoni’s little daughter Ziva, Shah Rukh Khan and his cherub AbRam et al! So let the games begin!
