Adani Enterprises Ltd, the flagship firm of <keyword id="21718" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="asia" source="Orion">Asia</keyword>'s richest person, will raise funds through the issue of fresh equity shares, it said in a stock exchange filing. The public offering will help Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL), which is the business incubator for the group and currently houses businesses from civil aviation to data centres, diversify the shareholder base and build its credibility and acceptance among investors. Promoters currently hold 72.63 per cent shares of AEL. Of the remaining 27.37 per cent, almost 20 per cent is held by insurance companies and foreign portfolio investors. Shares of AEL have more than doubled in the last year, giving it a market value of Rs 4.46 lakh crore. Benchmark S&amp;P BSE Sensex index has risen just 5.4 per cent over the same period. In the stock exchange filing, AEL said its board of directors met on Friday and approved the "raising of funds by way of a further public offering through a fresh issue of equity shares by the company aggregating up to Rs 20,000 crore." The company will seek shareholder approval for the offering through a postal ballot. The Adani group has previously stated that it is working on plans to increase the free float. Adani started AEL in 1988 with the commodity trading business and used it as an incubator of new businesses before spinning them off into separately listed firms. The group now has a significant presence in ports, airports, roads, power, renewable energy, electricity transmission, gas distribution, real estate, FMCG, cement and financial services. Recently, the group also entered the media business. Ports, power, transmission, green energy, gas and edible oil businesses are separately listed companies. The group has made forays into a diverse array of businesses with dealmaking in recent months. It recently acquired Holcim Ltd's India cement units for USD 10.5 billion, India's second-biggest deal of the year. Adani Enterprises to raise ₹20,000 crore via a follow-on public offer

"Our focus on operational excellence across our portfolio and the accretive capacity addition delivered an EBITDA growth of 26 per cemt. Portfolio EBITDA stood at Rs 42,623 crore. The company had posted a consolidated net profit attributable to the owners of the company of ₹61.21 crore in the year-ago period, <keyword id="258914" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Adani-Enterprises-Ltd">Adani Enterprises Ltd</keyword> (<keyword id="236769" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="AEL">AEL</keyword>) said in a filing to <keyword id="35140" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="BSE">BSE</keyword>. The consolidated income of the company during the January-March quarter was at ₹13,688.95 crore as compared with ₹13,698.09 crore in the year-ago period, the filing said. "I am pleased with the results <keyword id="76451" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Adani">Adani</keyword> Enterprises has delivered. Despite the challenges our nation and our people have faced over the past year, we have remained true to the philosophy of Atmanirbharta in every business that AEL incubates. The company further said in the statement that on the consolidated basis during the fourth quarter the company's PAT ( Profit Before Tax) attributable to owners (before exceptional item) increased to almost seven times at ₹413 crore vs ₹61 crore due to higher EBIDTA ( earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization). "The profit for Q4 FY'21 was impacted by the one-time exceptional loss of ₹179 crore," the statement said. On the operational highlights for the fourth quarter, the company said that the solar manufacturing volume increased by 95 per cent to 376 MW. The company said that its board has recommended a final dividend of Re 1 per equity share of the face value of Re 1 each for the financial year 2020-21 subject to approval of the shareholders Adani Enterprises Ltd is the flagship company of Adani Group. Over the years, Adani Enterprises has focused on building emerging infrastructure businesses, contributing to nation-building, and divesting them into separate listed entities. Adani Enterprises sees its quarterly profit grow nearly four times during the pandemic

New Delhi, Feb 5 () Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) on Wednesday said its net profit rose over fourfold to Rs 382.98 crore in the December 2019 quarter, helped by higher income. The Adani Group's flagship firm had clocked a net profit of Rs 80.09 crore during the year-ago quarter, AEL said in a BSE filing. Its total income during the October-December 2019 period was Rs 11,075.32 crore, higher from Rs 10,548.14 crore in the year-ago period. The company's expenses were Rs 10,635.16 crore, compared with Rs 10,443.76 crore a year ago. In a statement, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said, "We at Adani Enterprises continue to focus on incubating assets in the transportation and utilities space. These new India-centric businesses will be instrumental in the economic growth of the country. At the same time, it will endorse our work and take the benefits to masses." In the mining services business, production volume at the Parsa Kente coal mine in Chhattisgarh increased 26 per cent to 4.71 million tonnes (MT) as against 3.74 MT in the third quarter of 2018-19. During the quarter, the coal production at Gare Pelma III mine in Chhattisgarh was commenced with a volume of 0.06 MT. In solar manufacturing, the company has established India's largest solar cell and module manufacturing unit in Mundra SEZ. The plant has an installed capacity of 1.2 gigawatt (GW) fully integrated cell and module manufacturing unit. In the third quarter of 2021-20, volume witnessed a strong growth of 102 per cent to 283 megawatt (MW) modules as against 140 MW modules in the year-ago quarter. In the food business, the company has maintained its leadership position with its Fortune brand and continues to lead the refined edible oil market with more than 20 per cent market share. Mumbai, Feb 14 ( ) Adani Group on Friday inked agreements with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the management, operations and development of Ahmedabad, Mangaluru and Lucknow airports. "Today, as we sign the concession agreements for Mangaluru, Lucknow &amp; A'bad with the AAI, its the beginning of another historic journey catering to India's exponential airport infra demands," Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani said in a tweet. In 2018, the government decided to privatise airports at Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, and Guwahati. It was for operation, management and development of these aerodromes through public-private partnership model. Adani group, AAI ink pacts for managing three airports

New Delhi, Mar 11 () Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) on Wednesday said it has won a Rs 1,546-crore project from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for building a stretch of NH-16 in Andhra Pradesh under Bharatmala Pariyojana. The project will be undertaken under the hybrid annuity mode. "The company led consortium has received a letter of award (LOA) from NHAI for ... six laning of Vijaywada Bypass from Gollapudi to Chinnakakani including major bridge across river Krishna in Vijayawada Gundugolanu section of NH-16 under Bharatmala Pariyojana on hybrid annuity mode," Adani Enterprises said in a regulatory filing to the BSE. Bharatmala Pariyojana is a government-sponsored and funded road and highways project. The company's bid project cost for the 17.88 km project was Rs 1,546.31 crore, the company said adding it will be completed in 2.5 years. Adani Enterprises would continue to evaluate and bid for attractive opportunities in transport sector which generates value for the stakeholders, it said. "The Group would use its expertise and experience of setting up complex and mammoth infrastructure projects in record time and to world class quality standards and also successfully operating them," the statement said. The company added that AEL's infrastructure businesses' steadily rising contribution is playing a significant role in this growth, with <keyword id="19957744" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="EBITDA" source="keywords">EBITDA</keyword> expanding by 69.98 per cent YoY. These fast-growing businesses now contribute 13.3 per cent to the portfolio-level EBITDA, up from 7.2 per cent a year ago. The overall EBITDA of Adani Group companies surged by 32.87 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to reach Rs 22,570 crore, resulting in a trailing twelve-month (TTM) EBITDA of Rs 79,180 crore, marking a 45.13 per cent increase over the corresponding TTM of the previous year. The Adani Group highlighted that its 'Core Infrastructure' platform comprises AEL's (Adani Enterprises) Infrastructure businesses, Utility (Adani Green Energy, Adani Power, Adani Energy Solutions, and Adani Total Gas), and Transport (Adani Ports &amp; SEZ) businesses. The Solar module manufacturing business of the group saw module sales rise by 125 per cent YoY in the quarter. Furthermore, the operationalization of photovoltaic cell lines lowered costs, resulting in higher profitability. The airport business also continues to see strong growth from rising passenger movement, increasing consumer offerings, and the addition of routes, airlines, and flights across seven operational airports. Adani Enterprises' performance indicates that in airports, the annual passenger movement across 7 airports crossed 90 million for the first time. During the quarter, eight new routes, six new airlines, and 13 new flights were added across all seven airports. Additionally, 25 new brands were introduced at Lucknow airport after the inauguration of Terminal 3. The road business achieved its highest-ever 730 lane-km construction during this quarter. In the Adani Green Energy segment, construction work for a 500 MW hydro pump storage has commenced, with a 31 per cent YoY capacity addition during the quarter. Another 250 MW wind capacity was operationalized in July at Khavda, bringing the total capacity to 11.2 GW. Adani Energy Solutions stated that the Khavda-Bhuj Transmission Line (KBTL) is fully commissioned, enabling 3 GW green power evacuation from Khavda. The 1,765 ckm Warora Kurnool Transmission Line (WKTL) was also fully commissioned, strengthening the national grid by ensuring seamless power flow between the western and southern regions. Adani Ports &amp; SEZ reported that Vizhinjam port, India's first transhipment port equipped with South Asia's most advanced container-handling technology, was formally commissioned in July and will become operational in November. In the Cements segment, the promoters infused Rs 15,000 crore in two tranches in Ambuja Cements in March and April, fully subscribing to the warrant program and infusing a total of Rs 20,000 crore since the acquisition in September 2022. The company also acquired Penna Cement, increasing the total capacity to 89 MTPA.
