The Q1 <keyword id="19999655" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Consumer-Price-Index" source="keywords">Consumer Price Index</keyword> (CPI) inflation for the current financial year (2024-25) is projected at 4.5 per cent. CPI inflation for the first quarter of the next financial year (Q1 2025-26) is projected at 4.4 per cent, as announced by the RBI Governor. India's retail inflation, after breaching 5 per cent in June, softened drastically in July. In line with the moderation in retail inflation, wholesale inflation in India too witnessed a sharp decline in July. The annual rate of inflation based on all India Wholesale Price Index (WPI) numbers is 2.04 per cent (provisional) for July 2024 (over July 2023).

However, just before you could attack, you run into a system error and have to restart the game all over again. Trust me, we have all been there. But this wasn’t the case with the newly-launched Dragon Age: The Veilguard. <div type="image" title="3" msid="116133701" hostid="261" sizebytes="1807404"></div> This is a game that pushes both graphical fidelity and hardware performance, delivering a breathtaking journey through a richly detailed fantasy world. With my PC armed with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800 X3D processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super GPU, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, I was able to get a great experience with this game. Let us take a look at how the game performed with different settings. <h2>The sweet spot </h2> Starting with DLSS set to Balanced mode, I tested the game at a resolution of 2560x1440 with ultra graphics and selective <keyword id="20976394" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ray-tracing" source="keywords">ray tracing</keyword>. Without frame generation, the gameplay clocked in at 90 FPS, offering smooth visuals. Enabling frame generation and turning off V-Sync cranked the frame rate up to 140 FPS, significantly enhancing responsiveness during combat and exploration. <div type="image" title="6" msid="116133722" hostid="261" sizebytes="1410873"></div> Lowering the resolution to 1080p further pushed the performance to 180-190 FPS with frame generation, and 120-110 FPS without it, making the gameplay exceptionally fluid. <h2>Prioritising visual fidelity </h2> Switching to Nvidia <keyword id="24385578" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="DLSS-Quality-mode" source="keywords">DLSS Quality mode</keyword>, which focuses on visual excellence over raw performance, I saw fantastic results. At 1080p resolution with ultra graphics and frame generation off, the game maintained an average of 118 FPS. Returning to 2K resolution with Quality DLSS, Nvidia Reflex set to “On + Boost,” and frame generation enabled, the frame rates ranged between 130-150 FPS. The experience was smooth and visually stunning, with every texture rendered in incredible detail. In some scenarios, frame rates even spiked to 180-200 FPS, peaking at 220 FPS in less graphically intense areas. I spent hours exploring the vast world with this setting, marvelling at various scenes it had to offer. The environment artists have really done a fabulous job and the game looks breathtaking. <div type="image" title="4" msid="116133742" hostid="261" sizebytes="1234786"></div> When I switched DLSS to Performance mode at 2K resolution, the game delivered around 160 FPS, offering a good balance of visuals and performance. <h2>Prioritising performance </h2> To test the game’s performance, I tweaked around the settings a bit and here is how it went. At 1080p resolution, with Ultra Performance DLSS, frame rates soared to 230-250 FPS, with only a slight reduction in visual quality—barely noticeable unless scrutinised. To explore maximum performance potential, I switched from ultra to high graphics settings with ray tracing off, DLSS set to Ultra Performance, and frame generation enabled. This unleashed astonishing frame rates of 300-350 FPS, showing that at lower graphical presets, the game resulted in almost unbelievable frame rates without a drop. The visual quality was noticeably reduced but the game wasn’t unplayable. You still will get to see some gorgeous scenarios, even with these graphic settings. <div type="image" title="7" msid="116133766" hostid="261" sizebytes="991975"></div> Reverting DLSS to Quality mode under these settings still delivered an average of 260 FPS, proving the rig’s capability to handle demanding titles like Dragon Age: The Veilguard with ease. <h2>Ray Tracing: A visual feast</h2>The pinnacle of visual fidelity in the game came with DLSS Quality mode with ultra graphics, ray-traced reflections, and ambient occlusion at 2K. With these settings enabled, I got an average of 110-120. Even during intense battle sequences, frame rates rarely dipped below 100 FPS. The realistic reflections and intricate lighting effects made environments come alive, with highlights like walking through water puddles becoming a jaw-dropping experience. <div type="image" title="5" msid="116133782" hostid="261" sizebytes="1046215"></div> Thus, Dragon Age: Veilguard delivered a stellar performance on my custom water-cooled system, thanks to NVIDIA's 4070 Super GPU and DLSS option. Whether you’re a player who prioritises ultra-smooth gameplay or one who revels in visual splendour, the game offers a wide range of configurations to suit your preferences. With its flexibility in settings, Dragon Age: Veilguard proves to be a masterfully optimised title that caters to both performance enthusiasts and visual connoisseurs. On my rig, the game performed brilliantly, making every battle, exploration, and story moment a seamless experience. Whether you’re walking through shimmering puddles or taking down foes in epic battles, this is a journey that will keep you hooked for hours.

Doing this enabled them to reduce their federal taxes by 99%, including what Hyun owed from his W-2 income. So Hyun tried creative financing, an idea he got after following a YouTuber and real estate investor, Pace Morby. The influencer had a Facebook page where a community of real estate buyers and sellers could connect. There, he found <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/real-estate-how-wholesaling-works-earn-money-investing-investor-property-2022-11">wholesalers</a>, middlemen that buy property under contract to sell the contracts and transfer the property to the buyer."Wholesalers basically post their deals there. And if you like them, then you'll email the wholesaler, and they will basically get you to buy their contracts," Hyun said. "And when I say contract, I mean basically they already have written an agreement with the seller saying that they will buy the house. And that contract, the wholesalers are selling to me for about $10,000."Hyun used this method to locate a property that could be purchased using what's called "subject-to", when the buyer takes over the property ownership and the mortgage tied to it.In Hyun's instance, It was a fairly new, single-family 3,000 square-foot home built in 2022 in a small town in Texas at a sale price of $475,000. The homeowner was behind on payments. So, instead of going into foreclosure, they sold it to Hyun and transferred the mortgage, which had a balance owed of $368,486 at a 2.75% mortgage rate. For Hyun, this meant a total monthly payment of $2,844, according to records viewed by Business Insider."With a property like this, it would not cashflow if we had gotten the 7% interest rate, meaning the rents would not pay for our mortgage and expenses, and we would be negative every month," Hyun said. "So it just isn't an option unless you get really good financing terms."He paid the seller $16,735 in cash and used carry-back financing for the remainder, which is when the seller finances the gap by accepting monthly payments until the owed amount is reached.Hyun noted that the biggest risk with subject-to is something called the due-on-sale clause, a provision in the mortgage contract that allows the lender to call in the loan if the property title is transferred. The clause isn't commonly enforced, but a lender does have the right to exercise it."What that means is that the mortgage company will basically say you need to pay off the loan immediately, and they'll give you a couple months' notice," Hyun said.Hyun addressed this by working with an attorney to transfer the title to a land Trust or a Living Trust. It requires multiple steps and considerations. However, this is not a required part of the process.

The Fed is likely to put downward pressure on short-term interest rates, reducing the appeal of dollar-denominated assets and contributing to the decline in the Dollar Index. At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 84.45 and moved in a tight range and touched 84.47 against the greenback, registering a fall of 7 paise over its previous close. On Wednesday, the rupee depreciated by 11 paise to close at 84.40 against the US dollar. "The 84.50 level remains a strong support for the USD/INR pair. <keyword id="23456490" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="RBI-interventions" source="keywords">RBI interventions</keyword>, coupled with anticipated capital inflows -- such as Godrej Properties' Rs 4,000 crore QIP and Univest's USD 16 million capital raise -- are expected to support the rupee further," CR Forex Advisors MD Amit Pabari said. Pabari further added that the USD/INR pair is likely to encounter resistance near the 84.50 mark, with expectations of trading within the 83.80 to 84.50 range, showing a slight downward bias. Meanwhile, the dollar index, which gauges the greenback's strength against a basket of six currencies, was trading higher by 0.14 per cent at 106.22. Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, fell 0.18 per cent to USD 72.70 per barrel in futures trade. In the domestic equity market, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose 68.21 points or 0.09 per cent to 80,302.29 in morning trade, while Nifty was up 34.20 points or 0.14 per cent to 24,309.10 points. Rupee falls 7 paise to 84.47 against US dollar in early trade

Mumbai: The rupee fell sharply by 15 paise against the US dollar to 83.44 in early trade on Wednesday amid muted trends in the domestic equity markets. However, a decline in the dollar index and a marginal fall in the Brent crude index prevented further losses in the domestic unit, according to experts. At the interbank foreign exchange, the local unit opened at 84.38 -- down 9 paise from its previous close -- and then slid further to 84.44, registering a decline of 15 paise from its previous close. On Tuesday, the rupee pared its intra-day losses to settle flat at 84.29 against the US dollar. "The <keyword id="24182640" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indian-banking-liquidity" source="keywords">Indian banking liquidity</keyword> fell into deficit as industry players paid Rs 1.6-1.8 lakh crore as GST payment. This was after two months that liquidity has fallen into a deficit as the RBI also intervened into forex markets to defend the rupee weighing on liquidity conditions," Anil Kumar Bhansali, Head of Treasury and Executive Director, Finrex Treasury Advisors LLP, said. "The rupee may be in the broad range of 84.00 to 84.50 in the near term as markets await a slew of data from the US this evening," Bhansali added. Meanwhile, the dollar index, which gauges the greenback's strength against a basket of six currencies, was down 0.15 per cent to 106.84. Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, was marginally down 0.10 per cent to USD 72.74 per barrel in futures trade. At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 84.27 and moved in a tight range and touched an early high of 84.22 against the greenback, registering a gain of 7 paise over its previous close. On Monday, the rupee appreciated 12 paise to close at 84.29 against US dollar. "While Donald Trump's aggressive trade policies loom large, the rupee's outlook remains cautiously optimistic. Pabari further said that the RBI's vigilant stance will be critical in managing volatility, with interventions likely at key levels to maintain stability. "Given the factors, the USDINR pair appears to face resistance around the 84.50 level, with expectations of trading within a range of 83.80 to 84.50, leaning toward a downside bias," he said. On the global front, US Treasury Secretary nominee Scott Bessent's fiscal deficit reduction agenda capped US Treasury yields, Pabari said. The dollar index, which gauges the greenback's strength against a basket of six currencies, was trading higher by 0.28 per cent at 107.11. Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, rose by 0.33 per cent to USD 73.25 per barrel in futures trade. In the domestic equity market, the 30-share equity benchmark Sensex jumped 167.76 points or 0.21 per cent to 80,277.61 points in early trade, while Nifty jumped 55.80 points or 0.23 per cent to 24,277.70 points. Celebrate the rate cut and she risks fueling Trump's narrative; ignore the rate cut and she doesn't get to claim a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-harris-economy-tech-debate-tariffs-taxes-2024-9">desperately needed economic victory</a>."This is a double edged one for Harris," Mark Blyth, a political economist at Brown University, said. "If Harris leans into this and says, 'We told you it's working. Look, the Fed is doing this," there's a way in which you could imagine that is played back against her. But if she doesn't take credit for it, then she doesn't get any credit for it."President Joe Biden's administration, including Harris, has been careful to respect the independence of the Fed, according to Ernie Tedeschi, the chief economist at the Yale Budget Lab. He suspects that Harris is pleased with the cut, but will be "careful" with her rhetoric to avoid bolstering the idea that it was partisan. "And so I would not be surprised if she made some parallel observations to what we heard from Powell, which is that inflation has clearly come down from its heights in 2022."Trump, for his part, has indicated that he will not respect the independence of the Fed. To put it simply, voters relate to the fact that eggs cost more than they did two years ago, not the pace at which egg prices are changing.Tedeschi agrees, and said that the way macro economists like himself talk about inflation is divorced from how most Americans think about the phenomenon."You look around the world, and incumbents around the world have been losing elections, and they've been losing elections in large part because of inflation," he said. "It is a valid voter concern and it is a proven electoral strategy worldwide, in lots of different democracies so far in this pandemic. So [Trump] is definitely not going to stop."The American people <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/interest-rate-cuts-decision-this-week-federal-reserve-powell-inflation-2024-9">won't begin to feel the effects of the rate cute right away</a>. But it could still impact the political environment, even without Harris giving it a ton of air time. Tedeschi said that the technical economic news will show up in an unlikely place: "the vibes.""The combination of declining inflation and the rate cut means that gloomy news coverage about the economy is probably less likely over the next couple of months," Daniel Hayes, a political science professor at George Washington University, told Business Insider. "If that's what happens, people won't be thinking about inflation as much as the election approaches, which is better for the Democrats."With the rate cut, the Fed implicitly gave economists, political commentators, and the media permission to begin talking about the end of inflation, Tedeschi said, meaning that the tone of the conversation will change. Her <a target="_blank" href="https://x.com/KamalaHQ/status/1836768253432987858">campaign's Twitter account</a> posted about how the S&amp;P 500 and Dow hit an all-time high.But Blyth remains skeptical that the rate cut will have a lasting impact in an election that's been defined by volatility."By three days from now we'll have forgotten about it," he said. "We'll be fighting about something else."
