However, that said, managing work and being a mom is a challenging task as both the roles have their own set of demands on time and energy. When my girls were younger the main challenge was to make them understand why their mother wanted to work. Young kids expect their moms to be with them 24*7 and see a lot of such cases around them in their peer group. It took a lot of effort, reasoning and patience to make them understand, ofcourse giving examples of their play school teachers/educators who also stepped out of their homes to teach them helped a lot. 
 
With school going kids the main challenge today is to balance their activities, classes, concerts, matches, PTMs, exam schedules with work obligations. It gets quite demanding and there are occasions where one has to make an unhappy choice. But the key is to remain guilt free and see the larger picture though I agree it’s easier said than done.”

New York, Apr 17 (AP) David Beckham's Inter Miami was found by Major League Soccer to have violated league budget rules with its signing of French midfielder Blaise Matuidi, and the team bought out the contract of Argentine midfielder Matías Pellegrini to get back in compliance. MLS said Friday that final results of the investigation, including sanctions, will be announced "in the near future." The league said Pellegrini is being loaned to Fort Lauderdale, the affiliate of Miami in the third tier United Soccer League's League One. That team is Miami's reserve side. The league announced its investigation on March 5. The 33-year-old Matuidi, a member of France's 2018 World Cup champions, joined Miami on Aug. 13 from Juventus. Miami said it used targeted allocation money. Each team was allowed two high-priced designated players whose budget charge could exceed the maximum, plus a third if there was a $150,000 payment to the league split among other teams, under roster rules announced by the league on March 1 last year. Ahead of its first season as an expansion team, Miami announced it signed Argentine Pellegrini as a young designated player from Argentina's Estudiantes on July 26, 2019; Mexican midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro as a designated player from Monterrey on Feb. 17, 2020; and Argentina forward Gonzalo Higuaín as a designated player from Juventus Sept. 18. Matuidi was not announced as a designated player. "Matuidi's compensation was above the compensation limit for a TAM player and he should have been classified as a designated player," MLS said in a statement. "As a result, Inter Miami violated the designated player limit as the team had three designated players in addition to Matuidi during 2020." Pellegrini will be ineligible to play for Miami this season. "We've been working with Matías, his representatives and MLS to reach an agreement, and at this time we believe this is the best option for all parties," Miami sporting director Chris Henderson said in a statement. "Matías is a talented young player with an exciting career ahead. He will remain with the organization as we work on finding an on-field opportunity and next steps for him." In its March 1, 2020, announcement, MLS said its rules for the season gave each team a salary budget of USD 4.9 million for the first 20 players on its roster, although teams were allowed to spread that budget over 18 players, and the league permitted a maximum USD 612,500 salary charge per player. Designated players carry the maximum budget charge even if above USD 612,500 (or USD 306,250 if signed in the summer transfer window). In addition, designated players 20 and younger count a maximum USD 150,000, and from ages 21-23 count a maximum USD 200,000 (USD 150,000 if signed in the summer). Each team could use USD 1,525,000 in general allocation money to "buy down" a player's salary budget charge, and USD 2.8 million in targeted allocation money to sign new players whose salary and acquisition costs were above the maximum salary charge or to convert a designated player to a non-designated player. "He put it on time and on target. All I had to do was catch and shoot."Even in losses, Jokic is impacting the game: during the Nuggets' 23-point loss to the Utah Jazz on Sunday, Jokic was a +5.With Kevin Durant injured and Stephen Curry going through a major shooting slump, the MVP race is as open as ever. New Delhi, Apr 7 () Two FIH Pro League ties involving the senior men's team, junior men's Asia Cup and senior women's Asian Champions Trophy are among a host of international hockey events, where India was scheduled to take part, that have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a letter to Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) CEO Rajesh Rajagopalan, Hockey India informed about the postponement of the events which were a part of its Annual Calendar for Training and Competitions (ACTC). The junior women's Asia Cup (April 6-12 in Kakamigahara, Japan), senior women's team's tour of Germany and Netherlands (April 11 to April 17, April 18 to April 27), men's team's away Pro League matches against Germany and England (April 24 to May 5), junior men's Asia Cup (June 4 to 12, Dhaka), women's Asian Champions Trophy (June 14 to 21, Donghae, Korea) and UCD U-23 6-Nations Tournament involving junior women (June 14 to 27, Dublin) are the events which have been affected by the global pandemic. "The new dates for the above mentioned tournaments will be intimated to SAI once finalised and approved by the International Hockey Federation and the Asian Hockey Federation," Hockey India executive director RK Srivastava said in the letter. "The approved budget in the ACTC for the period up to 30 September 2020 would be utilised for foreign exposures/tournaments once the new scheduled is worked out post COVID-19 situation," he added. The Lakers might not be a sweet-shooting team from deep, but with defense and a fast-paced offense (two things they largely achieved during the season), they could win enough games to make the playoffs.Even still, it was hard not to come back to questioning the construction of the roster. Former Cleveland Cavaliers GM <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/lebron-james-lakers-major-problems-season-david-griffin-2018-8">David Griffin might have said it best</a> when he argued that, if and when the Lakers made the playoffs, the players surrounding James wouldn't work. You want James to have the ball when it matters - he's the single best shot-creator in the game, Griffin said. The Lakers surrounded him with players who couldn't function well without the ball. The example Griffin used is James driving and kicking the ball for ... a Rajon Rondo jumper?James seemingly had input on the roster decisions, and he is not blameless. Team president Magic Johnson met with James when free agency began and spoke to him about potential signings. <a href="http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26137383/lebron-first-season-los-angeles-become-disaster">According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne</a>, James wanted more ball-handlers and tough, veteran players. The Lakers also wanted one-year deals to preserve cap space for this summer.Perhaps the Venn diagram of these types of players was small. Terrill/APThe Lakers young players have generally played well.</div></div></div>Nonetheless, James and the young Lakers mostly did their jobs. Ball, Ingram, and Kuzma have all raised their scoring averages and overall field goal percentage (with declines in three-point percentage) this season. Ingram and Kuzma have increased their free throw rate, and both have shot better at the rim and in the paint.They've struggled at times figuring out their fit next to James. That's not surprising; young players often have growing pains, and both players' role changed dramatically with the presence of James.Over the last 11 games, Ingram has averaged 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game on 53% shooting, 45% from three. The Lakers cut Beasley in February.Again, perhaps the Lakers didn't have tons of options for players on one-year deals. But JJ Redick re-signed with the Philadelphia 76ers for one year, $12.5 million - about the same deal the Lakers gave Caldwell-Pope.Maybe Lopez and Redick didn't want to sign with the Lakers. Could that have changed if the Lakers were offering better money than what both players, respectively, got from Milwaukee and Philadelphia? The Lakers could have topped both players' offers. The team might be in a better position today if they had.Injuries have played a part. James has said he hasn't had a season where so many key players have missed time. And it's true - injuries to Rondo and Ball (and of course, James) specifically, have hurt the Lakers chemistry.But every team has injuries and bad luck. The Lakers haven't been good enough to overcome them.Now the Lakers face an offseason with high stakes. They'll try hard to land another star to play with James. As things currently stand, the odds don't look good for landing the top free agents like Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Kawhi Leonard, based on reports and quotes from the players themselves.Will the Lakers overpay for Tier 2 free agents, like Tobias Harris, Khris Middleton, and more, merely to add talent?They'll also re-explore trades for Anthony Davis. The only problem is, outside of a likely lottery pick, their offer hasn't gotten better. Will the Pelicans change their stance on trading Davis?Striking out in both areas is a real possibility for the Lakers. The Lakers offseason signings that puzzled the NBA world came back to haunt them

<div class="image-container float_right"><div class="image"><a href="http://www.apimages.com/metadata/Index/76ers-Cavaliers-Basketball/b1f668f8a4b444d78700616a95f1b564/7/0">AP</a></div></div>After enduring <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/anthony-bennett-cavaliers-stats-2013-11">an epic cold streak</a> to start the year, No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett has been in and out of the rotation for the <keyword id="146674" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="Cleveland-Cavaliers">Cleveland Cavaliers</keyword>.
In his team's last 11 games Bennett has averaged just 7.5 minutes per game. He didn't play at all in four of those games. Overall he's averaging 2.4 points per game and shooting 24%.
It's one of the worst starts we've ever seen from a first-overall pick. By all accounts Bennett game into training camp out of shape (partly because of an offseason injury) and he has been playing catch up ever since.
His development has also been hindered by Cleveland's stated goal of making the playoffs this year. Bennett is young and raw, and he needs playing time to acclimate himself to the <keyword id="6361805" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="NBA">NBA</keyword> game. The Cavaliers can't give him that time because they're trying (futilely, perhaps) to win games in the short term.
It's a catch-22. Bennett can't get better unless he gets minutes. But can't get minutes unless he gets better.

If Bennett is a bust, it's a disastrous development for the franchise.
Cleveland's post-LeBron rebuilding stage was supposed to be over this year. They just had four top-five picks in a row. They kept an asset (Anderson Varejao) that they could have traded for young talent, and they signed veteran free agents with playoff experience (Jarrett Jack).

of <keyword id="227940" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Chennai-Express">Chennai Express</keyword>, <keyword id="500441" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Krrish-3">Krrish 3</keyword> and <keyword id="1886157" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ram-Leela">Ram-Leela</keyword> (yes, this flick from <keyword id="6358308" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="sanjay-leela-bhansali">Sanjay Leela Bhansali</keyword> is finally looking <keyword id="41744" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="UP">up</keyword> and nearing the Rs 100 crore mark but more on that later), two more movies hit the screens on Friday (November 22) – <keyword id="2165" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kareena-Kapoor">Kareena Kapoor</keyword> (<keyword id="2857" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bebo">Bebo</keyword>) and <keyword id="14676" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Imran-Khan">Imran Khan</keyword>’s much-hyped <keyword id="1636016" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="rom-com">rom-com</keyword> <keyword id="1538595" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Gori-Tere-Pyaar-Mein">Gori Tere Pyaar Mein</keyword> and <keyword id="9271" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sunny-Deol">Sunny Deol</keyword>’s rustic action flick <keyword id="1481019" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Singh-Saab-The-Great">Singh Saab The Great</keyword>. But after our usual 4-day tally, the numbers are none too impressive. 
 
Let’s take a close look at Gori Tere first, directed by <keyword id="112568" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Punit-Malhotra">Punit Malhotra</keyword>. According to a trade website, the total collection after 4 days (Nov 22-25) stands at a paltry Rs 16.5 crore and certainly nowhere near the Big League. In his latest tweet, film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh says: #GTPM is better in UAE, below the mark in USA-Canada &amp; UK, poor in Australia and disaster in NZ. Overseas total: $ 980,000 [Rs 6.12 crore]. 
 
If the collection doesn’t pick up soon, Imran could be in trouble. Well, <keyword id="828519" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Ek-Main-Aur-Ekk-Tu">Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu</keyword> (Shakun Batra’s directorial debut in 2012), his last movie opposite Bebo, did well at <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword> and grossed a total of $8.1 million in India and abroad. But the year 2013 hasn’t been exactly great and both his films, <keyword id="814061" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="Matru-Ki-Bijlee-Ka-Mandola">Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola</keyword> (a <keyword id="825824" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="political-satire">political satire</keyword>) and <keyword id="1717335" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Once-Upon-A-Time-In-Mumbai-Dobaara">Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara</keyword> (a <keyword id="1952408" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Gangster-flick">gangster flick</keyword>) failed to bomb the box office. In contrast, Bebo has done extremely well in Madhur Bhandarkar’s <keyword id="6439486" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="heroine">Heroine</keyword> and <keyword id="125922" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Reema-Kagti">Reema Kagti</keyword>’s suspense thriller <keyword id="1952412" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Talaash-The-Answer-Lies-Within">Talaash: The Answer Lies Within</keyword>. Starring <keyword id="6355923" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Aamir-Khan">Aamir Khan</keyword>, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor, <keyword id="861273" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="Talaash">Talaash</keyword> also entered the <keyword id="925977" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rs-100-crore-club">Rs 100 crore club</keyword> and raked in a total of Rs 131.78 crore. 
 However, the <keyword id="1952416" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Lukewarm-response">lukewarm response</keyword> to Gori Tere could be due to the over-used theme. Although Imran sparkles in his romedy (romance-comedy) role as a rich architect and Bebo looks pretty stunning in her desi avatar while she pursues her fiery zeal for social work, the ‘bridging’ between the ‘unlikely’ partners is kind of predictable nowadays. And strangely enough, this flick reminds you of an earlier hit (<keyword id="14521" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="Jab-We-Met">Jab We Met</keyword>) where Bebo did it with equal spontaneity and spunk. Gori Tere is sweet and breezy, but the freshness of the <keyword id="1952417" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Shahid-Kapoor-Bebo">Shahid Kapoor-Bebo</keyword> starrer is somewhat missing here and the sparks are not flying. In perspective, Adarsh has tweeted: #BusinessTalk: #RamLeela dominates, #GTPM dismal, #SSTG decent in mass circuits! 
 
And that brings us to the other movie of the week – Gadar director Anil Sharma’s Singh Saab The Great. Sunny Deol-starrer Singh Saab has moved ahead of Gori Tere and grossed around Rs 21.5 crore after four days. The response has been good in North India, especially in Punjab and Delhi, and single screens have seen good turnouts except in the East and the South. 
 In this <keyword id="1952421" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Action-drama">action drama</keyword>, Sunny plays a collector of a small city in <keyword id="6357713" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Uttar-Pradesh">Uttar Pradesh</keyword> and values his honesty and integrity more than anything else. He fights corruption and injustice to usher in the change that real-life politicos never stop mentioning. Overall, it features a contemporary and relevant theme that can impact the audience. <keyword id="1855052" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="SSTG">SSTG</keyword> [limited screens] is best in USA-Canada, but ordinary elsewhere. Overseas total: approx $400,000 [Rs. 2.50 crore], tweeted Adarsh. 
 Meanwhile, Bhansali’s Ram-Leela is catching up after some initial hiccups. Last week, the Lucknow bench of the <keyword id="48834" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Allahabad-High-Court">Allahabad High Court</keyword> banned the screening of <keyword id="1942272" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Goliyon-Ki-Raasleela-Ram-leela">Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram-Leela</keyword> in Uttar Pradesh. The court has, however, allowed the producer and director to run the film without using ‘Ram-Leela’ and ‘Raasleela’ in the title. In its ruling, the bench said, “We are only concerned with the use of word ‘Ram-Leela’ in the title of the film, which hurts the sentiments of billions of peoples not only in India but all over the world.” 
 
But in spite of the controversies, Ram-Leela continues to dominate and seems to have overtaken Krrish 3 in the global market. According to Adarsh, #Krrish3 affected by #RamLeela wave. Overseas total *after Weekend 4*: approx $8.5 million [Rs 53.07 crore]. Blockbuster! 
 
As of now (after the 26th day), Krrish 3 has grossed a total of Rs 263.20 crore. But the question is – can Ram-Leela overtake Krrish 3 and become the topmost earner? We need to wait and watch – picture abhi baki hai and the box office war is far from over.
