The United States is assisting India in building The delegation led by US Deputy Secretary of Commerce Bruce Andrews will come in India on Smart Cities Infrastructure Business Development Mission and tour Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
Also, US will develop smart cities in Allahabad, Ajmer and Vishakhapatnam as a part of an agreement signed between both the nations.
Meanwhile, the delegation will see the prospects of increasing businesses in India, focusing on technologies, safety and security and transportation.
"US industry stands ready and able to help India make its cities more sustainable - an effort that will greatly benefit India's economic growth and our world's ability to address a changing climate," said Andrews.
