Top 10 places in Dubai where Indians prefer renting apartments

The real estate market in Dubai and Abu Dhabi recovered last year and the progress rate was noticeable.

As per industry experts, the real estate market will continue to be strong in 2017 as well. According to Bayut, changes in both the rental and sale markets will have a positive bearing on the real estate market that is constantly fine-tuning its way towards maturity.

In Dubai, apartment rents across all bed categories averaged AED 124,000 in October 2016 and average yield for apartments in Dubai also improved.

Meanwhile, studio apartments remained the obvious high performers and rent for an average studio unit in Dubai climbed to AED 56,000.
At AED 92,000 per annum, the average rent for 1-bedroom apartments showed a 1% improvement.

Most popular apartment renting localities in Dubai included Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Al Nahda, Downtown Dubai and Bur Dubai.

Bayut said real estate market in Dubai and Abu Dhabi was heading towards maturity due to new project launches, inclination of developers to market more and more projects to first-time home buyers and genuine end users.

Meanwhile, many Indians have also shown interest in renting apartments as 71% Indians preferred renting apartments and only 6% Indians preferred renting villas.
