The Ministry of Human ResourceDevelopment, on Monday, released its annual list of rankings of the educational institutions in India under the national institutional ranking framework 2019.
The rankings are based on a number of parameters including teaching, learning & resources, research, placement metrics, and outreach & women participation.
Here are the top 10:
1. Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore
Score: 81.34
Total number of students enrolled: 830
Placement Record: 399 out of 407 admitted students placed in 2017-18 with an average salary of ₹2.2 million.
2. Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad
Score: 80.65
Total number of students enrolled: 881
Placement Record: 427 students out of 442 admitted students placed in 2017-18 year with an average Salary of ₹2.28 million.
3. Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta
Score: 79.05
Total number of students enrolled: 1,016
