The Ministry of Human Resource Development, on Monday, released its annual list of rankings of the educational institutions in India under the national institutional ranking framework 2019.

The rankings are based on a number of parameters including teaching, learning & resources, research, placement metrics, and outreach and women participation.

Here are the top architecture schools in India:

1. Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur
Score: 81.96
Placement: Out of 41 students admitted in 2013-2014, 27 were placed with salary of ₹6,09,000 per annum

2. Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee
Score: 78.33
Placement: Out of 31 students admitted in 2013-2014, 17 were placed with salary of ₹6,50,000 per annum

3. National Institute of Technology, Calicut
Score: 65.52
Placement: Out of 44 students admitted in 2013-2014, 13 were placed with salary of ₹4,20,000 per annum

4. School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi
Score: 62.49
Placement: Out of 116 students admitted in 2013-2014, 70 were placed with salary of ₹4,49,000 per annum

5. College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram
Score: 59.47
