Entenmann's, the brand of processed pastries that's a fixture in grocery and convenience stores, is removing some of its brownies and muffins from store shelves.

The brand is voluntarily recalling several products after consumers reported finding small plastic pieces that present a "choking and/or cutting hazard," according to a statement released by its parent company. There's been one reported injury.

These are the Entenmann's items to steer clear of:

  • Little Bites Fudge Brownies - 5 pack
  • Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins - 5 pack
  • Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins - 10 pack
  • Little Bites Variety - 20 pack (Fudge Brownies, Chocolate Chip Muffins, and Blueberry Muffins)

Did you buy any of these Little Bites in the past two weeks and manage not to eat them yet? If so, the company is recommending you throw them away. Or, you can return them to wherever you bought them for a full refund.

Entenmann's is answering fan questions about the recall over on its Facebook page.
