It's hard - perhaps impossible - to be actually alone online. But now there's a website that offers people some alone-time online, and it's so popular its servers are crashing. The online destination mostexclusivewebsite.com aims to be the only place you can go online and truly be the only person on the server. How it works, writes Fusion, is that "only one person can access it at a time for a 60 second period." The sole visitor can then write a message on the site leaving proof they were there. The site has reportedly been online for three months without much fanfare. But someone posted it on Reddit a day ago and now it's blowing up.If you currently try to visit the website, you're likely be greeted by a message that the connection has timed out. This is because the server is just overloaded. "You dudes and dudettes are about to break the server" Justin Foley, the website's creator wrote in a Reddit comment. At the moment of writing this article, the servers were still crippled making it seemingly impossible to even connect to the website's queue. The Washington Post reports that more than 300,000 web users have surfed to mostexclusivewebsite.com. It adds, "only 55,000 have been let in."These thousands of people are seemingly waiting to be let in to do nothing for a minute. But then again most social capital is predicated on truly meaninglessness. And it may prove helpful at a party to mention your exclusive attendance at this one-of-a-kind website.
