This man made Cadbury Creme Egg Scotch eggs and the internet is going crazy

Easter is over a month away, but the internet is already going crazy over Cadbury Creme Eggs. Reddit user donaldcrunk incited a frenzy among chocolate lovers after he posted a photo of Creme Egg Scotch eggs, a British twist on the Cadbury treat.

To make the Creme Egg Scotch eggs, which we first spotted on British entertainment and lifestyle website JOE, their creator covered Creme Eggs in bread crumbs made from chocolate cake, smothered them in melted chocolate, and then rolled them in grated chocolate. That's a lot of chocolate. Or, as one Reddit user eloquently put it, a "heart attack bomb."

Though donaldcrunk isn't the first person to come up with the experimental combination, the Reddit community is grateful for his contribution.

Twitter is equally excited, and some users have even been inspired to make their own Creme Egg Scotch eggs.

One Reddit user calculated the nutritional value of six eggs; collectively, they would consist of 6,200 calories and 400 grams of fat; that's over 1000 calories and 66 grams of fat per egg.
