This Is Amazon's First Smartphone: The Fire Phone

Amazon has just announced its first smartphone, the Fire Phone.

The phone features a 4.7-inch screen and has Gorilla Glass on both sides, which means it should have a nice premium feel similar to the iPhone. The Fire Phone packs a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization.

It's run on a 2.2-GHz processor with 2GB of RAM, which is up to par with today's other competing flagship smartphones.
