This blacksmith makes bespoke kitchen knives that cost £700 using traditional methods
- Blenheim Forge creates a range of hand-forged knives.
- The Nickel Damascus Gyuoto is laminated with 200 layers of nickel and iron.
- The handles are also handmade and are created from a variety of woods.
Blenheim Forge is a steel workshop in Peckham, London. They create a range of traditional hand-forged kitchen knives.
Each knife is made entirely in-house; the blade is first laminated and folded before being forged into the correct shape. Once shaped the blade is sharpened on a grind stone and belt grinder.
Some of their knives are laminated with 200 layers of metal and each one has a unique pattern. The knives are often made in small batches and they range in price from £160 to £700.
