It doesn't work like a normal winch. You attach the winch directly to the wheel itself. The rope can then be anchored elsewhere.

Such as a tree. Various anchor attachments can be used based on the situation. It's ideal for getting out of loose gravel or snow It's safer than a traditional winch system since no heavy cables are used.
