It may not even be mid-November yet, but holiday ad season is well underway.

And this gem from Mars pet treats brand Temptations may have just won the Christmas ad battle.

Created by UK ad agency Adam&EveDDB (the agency behind the John Lewis Christmas ad, the Harvey Nichols Christmas ad, and the Mulberry Christmas ad,) Temptations' "Say sorry for holidays" spot will run in the US on TV and online.

Soundtracked by Elton John's "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word," the 60-second ad captures all the pain owners put their cats through at Christmas - from dressing them up in Santa outfits, to making them play in snow.
