Every three months, UK media regulator Ofcom names and shames the country's most complained about mobile, broadband and pay-TV companies.

The organisation's latest tranche of data, which covers the first quarter of 2016, shows that despite an improvement, Vodafone remains easily the most complained about mobile phone provider.

EE takes the undesirable crown for being the broadband provider that frustrates the highest number of UK consumers, while BT's pay-TV offering is comfortably the most complained about in the UK.

Methodology: Ofcom only records the complaints it receives directly. Complaints can range from technical faults to billing problems and the figures it presents are the estimated number of complaints per 100,000 customers.
