The UK is the 8th most popular tourist destination in the world with over 34 million visitors every year - thanks mostly to a myriad of museums and a rich historical tapestry.

Business Insider recently ranked the UK's most popular attractions according to visitor numbers, but below we've ranked the most photographed destinations, with help from Yelp.

With over 100 million reviews including millions of pictures, and 84 million monthly users - a higher population than the UK itself - the review site gives you a solid idea of what tourists are photographing.

Although London's landmarks make up a large portion of the list, other cities around the country appear, including Bath's Roman Baths and Edinburgh Castle.
