Price comparison site uSwitch thinks it has found the exact places where people will find that and came up with a ranking of the places in the UK that have the best quality of life.

uSwitch took into account 26 different variables to come up with their rankings. The variables ranged from the average disposable income and employment rates, to the speed of broadband and cost of home insurance.

Having divided the UK up into its 138 local authority areas, the data was crunched and weighted, then each area was given an index score. The higher the index score, the higher the quality of life.
