Here are some apps that introduced new features recently and are definitely worth it.
The taxi-hailing app announced two new features-Uber Ride Request Widget and trip branding and personalization app. The ride request widget brings the entire Uber experience, from ride configuration and request all the way to drop-off, inside any partner app. It also allows users to request a ride or set a ride reminder through a partner app or site.
The trip branding and personalization helps users with helpful content during their ride, right from the Uber app itself.
The online travel aggregator, Goibibo.com, launched ‘Go-Time guarantee’ for refunds. Goibibo.com claims refund to be processed within two hours from the time the customer cancels his or her travel with the portal.
The new feature transparently shares the exact time in minutes and seconds, taken to process the refund. In case of a failure to meet the 2 hour guarantee, the platform promises to credit Rs.100/- in the customer’s GoCash wallet for every hour of delay.
The photo and video sharing platform rolled out 60-second videos for all users from 15 seconds.
This 60-second limit is likely to benefit cross-platform campaigns. Now, content creators can think about Instagram first, which would let them have a greater social presence without sacrificing other platforms.
Foodpanda
India's online food ordering platform has launched the "Express Guarantee" service. It assures to deliver food within 45 minutes - or else free with a cap.
The amount of money that will be refunded is capped at Rs 200, which accounts for over 50 per cent of the amount given if the bill is of Rs 300-450. In simple words, the maximum amount that Foodpanda will refund is Rs 200. Period!
The internet giant introduced a quite nice improvement for its Android app. Now, you can edit your photos and keep the original too.
