Vintage cars are increasingly becoming popular among Indians and the interest in classic cars has more than doubled.

Typically, a classic car is defined as one built after World War II, i.e., between 1945 and early 1970s.

The trend of buying vintage and classic cars can be seen on OLX, which has emerged as a popular place for collectors to buy vintage cars.

Latest data from OLX revealed that classic cars are extremely sought after by collectors as a single car listing attracts anywhere between 3,000 to 4,000 views.

The prices of these vintage cars range between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. In the last one year, listings of classic cars on OLX has doubled, every month on an average 60 such cars are listed on the platform.

As of March 31, the most expensive vintage car listed on OLX is a Morris Minor model from Rajkot priced at Rs 25 lakh, while the oldest vintage car listed on OLX is a 1936 model Ruby Austin.
