There's an amber warning for snow in the UK

The Met Office has issued an amber warning for snow in the UK, with around 10cm of snow predicted to fall on December 10.

BBC News reports that heavy snow is expected in Wales, the Midlands, and northern and eastern England.

The Met Office said on Twitter that it had observed 28 centimetres of snow in Wales.
