  • However, there seems to have been a demand for "Spanx for arms."

Spanx is now selling "arm tights."

The new line launched in late September and does what traditional Spanx do - smush any excess fat together, suction it in, and smooth it out - but for your arms instead of your thighs. The crop top "tights" are priced from $30 to $34 on Spanx's website.

Arm tights had a relatively quiet launch. However, now that Spanx is advertising the semi-sheer sausage casings for your arms to a greater degree, the backlash has begun.

However, before Spanx announced its "arm tights," people were singing a different tune.

In late September, a quick search on Twitter to gauge the general reaction to arm tights didn't turn up much regarding the new product, but there were seemingly endless inquiries as to whether there were Spanx made for arms.

Spanx obviously knew that there was enough demand to weather any backlash when the company filed a patent for "arm tights" on April 20, 2017.
