Take a look inside one of the most exclusive racing clubs in the world
With a 500 member limit, the Thermal Club is one of the most exclusive racing clubs in the world.
Located in Palm Desert, just south of Palm Springs, the club spans almost 400 acres of land.
You can see an overview of the entire facility and all of the race circuits from the clubhouse viewing tower.
The clubhouse also boasts an event entertainment space, full bar, restaurant, and dining room.
There's no shortage of lavish meeting spaces either.
There are currently only 62 club members, hailing from the US, Kuwait, and Canada.
Members include racing team principles, entrepreneurs, business owners, attorneys, and investment bankers.
To get to and from the club, transportation can be arranged using their concierge service. Charter jets are available to members for airport pickup and drop off.
Members can build their own Villas on or off the track. Currently, there are 268 plots available with 232 more that will become available soon.
8 pre-designed floor plans are available, or members can design their own. They typically range in size from 3,000 to 8,000 square feet.
Currently, the biggest Villa is 15,000 square feet!
The concierge service will provide cleaning service and make sure Villas are fully stocked with groceries and household items upon arrival
A Villa’s expansive garage can hold as many as 15-20 vehicles.
Currently, there are 16 completed Villas, 7 under construction, and 15 more which have been commissioned.
They can cost up to $4.6 million to build off-track, and up to $7 million on track.
The Villas built on-track have insane balcony views of the three racing circuits at the club.
Designed by renowned race track designer Alan Wilson, the three circuits can also be combined for a total length of 5.1 miles of track.
The club even hosts its own racing series, The Thermal Club Triple Crown.
Members and prospective members with racing licenses can race in two classes of cars over three weekends.
Track days are also hosted by McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, and more.
The Ferrari 488 Challenger and the Lamborghini Huracan Performante both debuted at the club.
A full-service motorsports village is available to members, complete with an on-site fuel island and fully secured garage.
The race shop services members' race cars and primary cars, and provides locker room and lounge areas.
Its one of the most luxurious and exclusive racing clubs in the world.
