Which Zodiac signs do the biggest billionaires belong to?

Most successful people would attribute their success and wealth to their hard work. But could there be something else at play here? Perhaps, if joining the dates is anything to go by. People born under select Zodiac signs have been much luckier than others.

And needless to say the luckiest star this year has been Cancer – no prizes for guessing that it is Gautam Adani’s Zodiac sign. The IIFL Hurun list throws light on this aspect of the rich too. After Cancer, the next luckiest star signs are Virgo, Libra and Taurus for wealth creation.

Shiv Nadar of HCL Technologies and Benu Gopal Bangur of Shree Cements too are born under the same sign. Billionaires with Cancer as a star sign, saw their wealth increase by 35%, said the report. “People born under Cancer sign had a great year, almost doubling their wealth, followed by Geminis, Taurus and Pisces,” the report said.

Apart from the macro and micro economic factors, the stars too seem to have aligned for India’s richest this year. The cumulative wealth of 1,103 richest Indians in the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022 increased by 9%.

The unluckiest star signs are Gemini, Leo and Capricorn – as those in the rich list with these signs saw their wealth decrease by 1-4% in the last one year.

“Overall Virgos and Scorpios led the way, with the highest number of entries on this year’s list, followed by Aries. Over a period of five years, Cancer rich listers created the most wealth, followed by Sagittarius and Aries,” the report said.

Scorpio and Virgo lead the way

When it comes to the most contributions made to the list, Scorpio and Virgo rank the highest. Billionaires with both these star signs contributed 9.5% each to the total wealth in the list.

Airtel’s Sunil Mittal and Ashwin Dani of Asian Paints are Scorpios and Vedanta’s Anil Agarwal, DMart’s Gopikishan Daman and Shapoor Pallonji Mistry are some of the prominent Virgos in the list.

Leos, Geminis and Cancerians come very close to the top contributing 9.3%, 9% and 8.8% to the list, respectively.

The star sign of RIL’s Mukesh Ambani who is the second richest India, is Aries and this star sign too made a major contribution of 8.7% to the overall wealth in the list. Adi Godrej and S Gopalakrishnan of Infosys also belong to this star sign.
