HCL Tech's Roshni Nadar is India's richest woman in 2020, according to Kotak Wealth Hurun India list

• With a net wealth of ₹54,850 crore, HCL Tech chairperson Roshni Nadar ranked first in the Kotak Wealth Hurun wealthy women list 2020.
• The founder and managing director of Biocon, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, ranked second in the list. She is also the richest self-made woman on the list.

HCL Technologies’ chairperson, Roshni Nadar, is India’s wealthiest woman for 2020, according to the Kotak Wealth Hurun - Leading Wealthy Women list released today.

Out of 100, there are 31 self-made women on the list — in which six are professional managers, and 25 are entrepreneurs. And, 15% of the women on the list hail from non-metro cities.

The listing is based on the net worth of women as of September 30. Interestingly, 19 women from this list were also featured in the ‘Hurun India Rich List 2020’, and six women have made it to the ‘Hurun Global Rich List 2020.’
