Rohini Nilekani
Donation: ₹170 crore

Rohini Nilekani is an Indian philanthropist who supports initiatives in education, water, sanitation, and civic engagement. She is the co-founder of EkStep and the Chairperson of Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies. She believes that education is the key to solving many of India's problems.

She is the tenth most generous person in India, in a list that also has her husband Nandan Nilekeni at the eighth place.
