Elon Musk’s 12 kids: All about Musk’s dozen kids and their moms

Elon Musk confirmed that he and Shivon Zilis, the director of Neuralink, had a third child earlier this year. While the initial reports claimed that the news was hidden, Musk claimed that it was well-known among his friends and family and it was not a secret.
Known for his eccentric lifestyle and business choices, Elon Musk is now a father to 12 children at least, as per the media reports. The mothers of his children are Justine Wilson, Grimes, and Shivon Zilis. Elon and Justine Wilson's first child passed away within 10 weeks of birth in 2002. Griffin and Vivian - Justine Wilson
Griffin and Vivian are twins and were born in 2004 after Elon lost his first child with Justine Wilson, Nevada. Vivian, originally named Xavier, changed her name when she turned 18 and decided to use her mother's last name. She also came out as transgender.

Kai, Saxon, and Damian - Justine Wilson
In 2006, Justine Wilson gave birth to triplets named Kai, Saxon, and Damian, who were conceived through IVF. Elon Musk and Wilson divorced in 2008.
In 2010, Musk married actor Talulah Riley. They divorced in 2012, got married again in 2013, and divorced once more in 2016. They did not have any children together.

X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl and Techno - Grimes
Elon Musk and Grimes welcomed their first son, X Æ A-Xii (pronounced as X Ash A Twelve), in May 2020. Their first daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl (pronounced as Sigh-deer-ee-el), was born via surrogate in December 2021.
Originally named X Æ A-12, their son had his name legally changed to comply with California birth certificate rules, though his parents now simply call him "X."
Musk and Grimes separated in September 2021 but reconciled around the time their daughter Exa Dark was born. They later confirmed the existence of a third child, a boy named Techno Mechanicus or Tau.

Strider, Azure and unnamed newborn - Shivon Zilis
In November 2021, Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis became parents to twins named Strider and Azure, born through IVF. Earlier this year, they welcomed their third child, whose gender and name are still undisclosed.
Musk clarified that their close friends and family were aware of the new arrival, emphasising that not issuing a press release did not mean they were keeping it a secret.
