You can spend a fall weekend at a famous swamp in Scotland thanks to Airbnb's latest partnership.
The rental company announced Tuesday that travelers will be able to book a stay worthy of fairytales in October. The swamp from DreamWorks Animation's "Shrek" has come to life, and it will be listed on Airbnb on October 13.
The swamp is only available for the last weekend of October, but the stay would be free if your request is approved for the exclusive two-night stay in the hills of Scotland.
Guests are in for free waffles in the morning and natural landscaping in the secluded home situated in the forest. But, the bathroom facilities are off-site about 20 meters from the swamp, per the announcement.
The famous ogre isn't too keen on having visitors in the "Shrek" movies, but it's open for two nights for up to three guests. You'll have to book your travel accommodations to and from Scotland, and Airbnb said it will do the rest.
On the listing, Shrek's best friend and sidekick Donkey is listed as the host of the studio with two beds and one bathroom.
"Nestled deep within the forests of the Scottish Highlands and accented with the cozy comforts Shrek has accumulated over the years, the swamp offers a retreat like no other," Donkey wrote in the listing. "This mud-laden, moss-covered, murky-watered oasis is a perfectly snug spot to escape from village life and embrace the beauty of nature."
Around the swamp, in Highland Council, Scotland, there are trails to explore and endless nature for picnics, according to the listing. Guests will have the help of an on-site concierge to make them comfortable.
If you miss out on booking Shrek's Swamp, there are also unique stays like a seashell house, treehouses, and converted grain silos on the booking platform.
