Hating on a baby doesn't usually go viral. But one tweet that asks "is anyone else just absolutely REPULSED by this giant baby" has racked up over 250,000 likes in one day, along with almost 10 million views of the baby in question.
The video was taken from a previously unheard of TikTok account belonging to a mom who goes by "kat.027." She used the short-form video platform to upload home videos of her son "Gav," usually accompanied by a popular track. She, her husband, and Gav appear to live out on a farm of some sort, given the videos of tractors and playing around in the mud. She likes to use hashtags like "#farmlife," "#countryboy," and "#happybaby."
But a clip of her son in a freshly powdered diaper (it's tagged "#babypowder") bouncing on his dad's back has stirred up a lot of negative feelings, given his relatively large stature, at least compared to other

However, when responding to a comment on a video of "Gav" playing with some blinds, his mom specified that he's not the oversized infant the meme is making him out to be. He's "a healthy 3 year old," she wrote, reiterating his age in a few more comments, and writing "The drs [sic] are predicting he's going to be at least 6'3."
"We have tall boys in the family," she added in another comment.

In response to one TikTok user writing "ok kat you dont need to listen to all the haters [...] your baby is soo beautiful and dont let them bring you down people are so rude these days [sic]," she replied "So sweet! Everyone loves babies they were babies at one point. I know he's a good health [sic] happy entertaining boy for sure! [sic]"

Not all of the comments are mean, and some are more joking than mean. Frequent comparisons to the character from the animated film "Boss Baby" were supplemented by a Halloween throwback slideshow of "Gav" dressed up as him that was uploaded to the TikTok account, along with a slew of other clips, on April 20.

Other people have expressed concern for the family, with one top comment on a TikTok of "Gav" next to a raccoon trap saying "Why do you make these public? They're only getting lots of views because people are making fun of your son. The internet is cruel, protect your son."
Insider reached out to "Gav's" mom via the email address she provided in a TikTok comment and to the viral tweet's author, but didn't hear back from either.
