Turkish Airlines wants to go toe-to-toe with its Middle Eastern rivals. See inside its luxurious new business class suites.

<p class="ingestion featured-caption">An overview of one of the rows.Pete Syme/Business Insider</p><ul class="summary-list"><li>Turkish Airlines revealed its new business class at the Farnborough Airshow.</li><li>It features sliding doors for the first time, plus more space.</li></ul><p><a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/turkish-airlines-economy-review-worth-it-good-perks-2024-3">Turkish Airlines</a> unveiled a new business-class product called Crystal at the Farnborough Airshow in July.</p><p>Its business class already has a good reputation, ranked <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.worldairlineawards.com/worlds-best-business-class-airlines-2024/">10th worldwide by Skytrax.</a></p><p>However, Turkish Airlines faces steep competition. Other Middle Eastern airlines, like <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/qatar-worlds-best-business-class-qatar-qsuite-2024-6">Qatar Airways</a> and Emirates, have built strong reputations thanks partly because of their business-class offerings.</p><p>For Turkish, which is expanding its operations, an upgrade could help it cut into market share.</p><p>Turkish Airlines says Crystal will be gradually installed on its <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/boeing-777x-compared-airbus-a350-differences-widebody-which-better-2024-3">Airbus A350</a> jets on order, plus retrofitted onto its Boeing 777 aircraft.</p><p>For the first time, its business class will feature privacy dividers and sliding doors in every suite. It has a sleek design, and also comes with bigger entertainment screens plus a larger footwell.</p>
