Storyteller Overland has unveiled its new 2021 line of three MODE4x4 Adventure Vans built on Mercedes-Benz Sprinters.
The 2021 updates on the company's flagship van series — which was first unveiled in 2019 — refreshed the MODElife vans and separated them into three "trim levels": the Classic MODE, Stealth MODE, and Beast MODE.
The Classic, which is the original iteration of the MODE line, has an "adaptable" floor plan and a lithium-ion battery system. However, the Classic's 2021 upgrade will not have as many utility-related add-ons as the more "highly anticipated" Beast, which will be a production version of Storyteller Overland's preexisting Beast Mode van.
The 2021 Beast has new features that make it off-road and off-grid capable, such as updated tires, a trail light package, an off-road ride improvement kit, and a rear-mounted spare tire.
While the Beast was given more off-road-related updates, the Stealth received an aesthetic refresh with a new "sleek and sporty" exterior comprised of a metallic grey paint job, matte black wheels, new grills, and updated design details.
Despite these differences, all three campers will come with 20 new standard features that weren't available on the prior MODE4x4 vans, such as a larger bed and an extended galley counter space with a new larger sink. Keep scrolling to see the other updates:
