We ranked the best new hybrid SUVs based on their combined fuel economy ratings from the Environmental Protection Agency.

We've also listed the EPA's estimates for annual fuel cost and five-year fuel savings for each vehicle. The agency assumes 15,000 miles driven per year and compares models to the average vehicle, which gets 27 mpg.
This list includes only traditional hybrids, not plug-in hybrids, which have bigger batteries and can travel farther using electricity alone. See the list:
