Tarek has been flipping houses for over a decade, as anyone who has watched his HGTV show "Flip or Flop" knows.
Now, he has a company dedicated to flipping, Tarek Buys Houses, and he's working alongside his wife Heather for his latest series, "The Flipping El Moussas."
Tarek is also publishing a book about his life and career, "Flip My Life" on February 6.
Most recently, the El Moussas flipped a 1,038-square-foot home in Westminster, California.

In an Instagram post, Tarek said they wanted to "make a small, entry-level home that lives and feels like a multimillion-dollar house."
They listed the house for $999,900, and buyers appeared to resonate with the design.
Tarek said in the same post they received multiple offers on the home just six days after it went on the market. The listing is marked as pending on Zillow.
The home has an open-concept living space.

The space isn't huge, but the El Moussas created a distinct living area, dining area, and kitchen.
According to the listing, plank floors cover the home, and the living area has vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. Tarek and Heather also used white shiplap panels on the ceiling, softening the modern aesthetic of the rest of the space.
The living room has plenty of natural light thanks to the sliding glass windows that lead to the backyard.

The listing says the kitchen has ample counter space and a large island, all of which are topped with quartz.
Heather and Tarek also selected flat cabinetry in white and wood, as well as stainless steel appliances, adding to the room's modern feel.
Textured, white backsplash and light fixtures with black hardware complete the room.
Modern touches continued in the living area.

The living room's focal point is the "entertainment fireplace wall," as the El Moussas said in the listing. It has an electric fireplace inset into the taupe wall, offsetting the white walls that cover the rest of the space.
The fireplace wall also features a built-in bench with back cushions and a floating shelf with wall lighting.
The home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The plank flooring and black hardware continue in the bedrooms, and the El Moussas also added a distinct accent wall to each bedroom.
For instance, the room photographed above has a textured, taupe wall, while another room has a black wall.
The modern bathrooms almost feel like a hotel.

One of the bathrooms has a tub and shower combo, while the other has a walk-in shower. Both have in-shower lighting to create a luxury feel.
The bathroom also features quartz countertops and wood tiling, combining modernity and a natural aesthetic.
The backyard has a patio.

Most of the enclosed backyard has lush grass and open space for people to enjoy, but it also has a patio made of tiling attached to the house.
The El Moussas styled it with two outdoor couches, chairs, and a firepit.
Tarek said in his Instagram post that the house sold for over the asking price, so they likely sold it for over $1 million.
