Take a tour of Gwyneth Paltrow's Montecito guest house, which is on Airbnb for $0

  • Gwyneth Paltrow's guest house in Montecito, California, is listed on Airbnb.
  • The one-bedroom property will be gifted to two guests for an overnight stay in September for free.

Gwyneth Paltrow is listing her luxury guest house on Airbnb for one night only — and it won't cost a penny.

The actress and entrepreneur announced on Instagram on Tuesday that her one-bedroom property in Montecito, California, will be available for a free one-night stay for up to two guests in September.

In the Instagram post, Paltrow said she hoped her brand partnership with Airbnb would help combat "loneliness" and "isolation" for the chosen guest or guests.

"While we may begin as strangers, I hope we'll find connections and commonalities over a delicious meal," she wrote. "Lay by the pool, go on one of my favorite hikes, and of course, you'll have a bathroom stocked with my favorite @goop products for a truly luxuriating stay."

The listing is priced at $0 and will be available to book on August 15 for a one-night stay on September 9. Paltrow will be there to greet the guest upon their arrival and they will also be gifted Goop beauty products and a Goop Kitchen-inspired meal, the listing states.

A spokesperson for Airbnb confirmed to Insider that the stay will be free as the $0 price will not change once the booking process opens.

As Insider's Geoff Weiss previously reported, some people have been left baffled by the listing. Several Instagram users have commented that the listing seems out of touch.

"How about Airbnb and celebrities partner to buy a building in LA and turn it into a homeless shelter which will really impact the loneliness in the world of LA," one person commented.

Meanwhile, another commented that the "target market" is likely celebrities and rich people.

Paltrow did receive some support, including celebrities such as Selma Blair ("I am on my way"), Rachel Zoe ("pick me please"), and Derek Blasberg ("I can co-sign this listing")," Weiss reported.

Whether you support Paltrow's partnership with Airbnb or not, there's no denying that the property is stunning. Here's a glimpse inside.
