Delta Air Lines will open its new 30,000-square-foot Sky Club lounge at LaGuardia Airport on Saturday.
The lounge, which will be the airline's biggest, seats 600 and is complete with a full bar and views of the airfield.

On Wednesday, the Atlanta-based carrier hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its brand new Terminal C at LaGuardia, which officially opened to passengers on Saturday.

The airline hopes the new lounge will lure premium customers and find new Sky Club members, particularly since LaGuardia is a business hub.

Insider toured the lounge, which opened at 5:00 am on Saturday, ahead of the new Terminal C ribbon-cutting ceremony. Take a look.

The lounge is inside the concourse past the security checkpoint, which is located on level three of the Terminal C Headhouse.

To get there, passengers need to turn left past security and walk just 100 feet to the entrance of the club. You can't miss it.

Standing in front of the entrance, I was immediately drawn in by the beautiful blue backdrop and sliding glass doors...

...and the gold chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

There are four kiosks available for self-check-in before riding the escalator or elevator up to the lounge.

Inside, Delta has decorated the space with a lot of unique artwork…

…shades of brown, tan, and beige, which is meant to represent old New York….

Along the back wall is a long panel of windows that overlook the airfield, giving passengers a bird's-eye view of aircraft taxiing, taking off, and landing.

There are plenty of bathrooms in the lounge, which can be opened via a motion sensor…

…as well as nursing rooms for families. There are no showers in the lounge, but LaGuardia also does not serve long-haul flights due to long-standing rules around its operation.
